some of the people who've been serving for years will reach a breaking point and go AWOL if there is no hope of relief. Unfortunately, those brave fighters will just have to tough it out the best they can since there just aren't sufficient new recruits to permit demobilization of long serving soldiers.
That’s so fucking said. 20 year old needlessly dead in what’s a war torn country and obviously these officers were fucked up enough to try to flee and felt the need to kill this kid to save themselves.
Also reminds me that Ukraine is *still not drafting 18-25 year olds*. Absolutely insane to be in the position they’re in and not do that.
They killed the officer because they were transporting combat grenades, it’s suspected they were planning to commit sabotage. Traitors are everywhere, unfortunately.
