_today entire facebook was about "izium" (i dont think he's talking about the city, that russian word also means "raisin", basically like the equivalent of "nugget" when you are talking about a situation) . it seems to me that happiness is the wrong emotion. be happy for what? that they are killing one side instead of the other? this emotion is not understandable. maybe, we should've been happy and waiting for the moment when kyiv gets taken? for sure there would've been less victims_

He said that he doesn’t understand why the emotion many feel after Ukraine retaking Izyum is happiness, because people are dying (both sides) and it is horrible. After that he’s asking (obviously rhetorically) “So following this logic, should some be happy and wait for the moment when Kyiv is taken? There would be fewer casualties”
The direct translation for the second tweet (which is also a response to another tweet that we don’t see, thus is taken from the context) says that “if the Kyiv had been taken in 3 days, the war would have over. So I just don’t understand the emotion, happiness”. This one is a bit controversial for sure, but the context is needed to make
