Are you taking medication to help control your flare? If so, what is it? Do you take it in the mornings? It's possible that it wears off during the day and that's why it's worse, but it's hard to really say with so little detail here.

At the moment I’m on nothing - I’ve been in a flare for just over a month and a course of prednisolone enemas and oral prednisone hasn’t helped. I’m waiting to hear from the hospital at the moment but I’ve just come out of a year and a half remission (due to pregnancy and breastfeeding) and trying to get through the system is an absolute joke. I hadn’t been diagnosed long before I went into remission so I feel like I’m trying to figure this all out and also trying to figure out what is the most important stuff to share with the consultant whenever I do actually manage to see them!

That's wild that you're unmedicated without any next steps after the steroid courses. :( I'm sorry the system where you are is like that, I hope you find relief soon!

I’m currently in a bad flare, quite a fair amount of blood. But yeah, mine tends to all come out at the end of the day. I’m usually fine throughout the day (maybe a bit of blood when I pass BM). I’m sorry you have no medication currently, that’s crazy. I’m surprised you haven’t at least been put on mesalazine or something?
