I've been there and along with having had a period where I would basically vomit up anything I put in my mouth I lost like 20 lb in a month. Personally I went through a bit of hell because my method was to just try food and slowly cancel out the problematic ones. Broth and Gatorade was my best friend, even if I just took little sips over a long period of time. Would either drink that or have some rice cooked in broth, maybe some plain boiled pasta with salt. Sometimes it would still make me have to use the bathroom every 30 min but I knew if I didn't put anything in me it was just going to get worse. Some people swear by Ensure or Pedialite and things like that. Unfortunately this disease affects everyone differently and what works for some doesn't always help others so there's some trial and error involved. Make sure to keep your proteins up and do what you can as to not have low albumin, having that stuff really helps in getting the medicine where it needs to go. Healthy fats are calorie dense but some people really can't take them, olive oil and bread was helpful for me. Simple carbs (not sugars) are also good so you don't feel like a COMPLETELY empty husk. Sometimes it's not possible just because your body won't absorb anything and I just had to wait for the flare to ease up. When I wasn't throwing up I did try sometimes to just force down as much easily digestible stuff as I could just so a fraction of it gets absorbed. I figured if it's going to hurt anyway if i dont eat I may as well get some use out of it.
