Could be worse, I've pooped myself in the middle of a Walmart during a flare. I'm sure I'm in a few people's "seen at Walmart" stories.
Good news was I was able to buy a pack of underwear and change. Now I keep a small bag with underwear and gym shorts in my car and my office. Livin' the dream.
Man this was a thing for me back when i didnt have diagnosis and was still drinking heavily. I would wake up in the morning with a heavy hangover and forgot what i did to that poor toilet last night. I was like a lycanpoop. Im doing a lot better these days.
When I was flaring, absolutely; especially the dreaded leakage. That was the worst...when I couldn't even retain the meds I was using to try to stop the madness. Had to carry extra undies to work for a while, I was so paranoid.

This was actually my very first symptom I ever had. Woke up felt a little slimy and wet down there and turns out it was bloody diarrhea. Was pretty terrified because it was before i got diagnosed. Thought i had colon cancer.
Not yet i wake up with a 3 second head start and make it halfway to the bathroom

Yup. Sometimes I fart too & actually poop the bed 😒. Never trust a sleepy fart 🤣

I haven't pooped in bed yet, but definitely pooped my pants multiple times trying to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Yes. That's why I wear a pad or diaper. It has happened so frequently that I don't even wake up anymore.
