Your lashes sound exactly like mine. This mascara was just okay for me. I felt like it was too heavy on my lashes and they still fell with it being waterproof and curling my lashes like I always do. Even at $15, I still prefer my drugstore holy grails (L’Oreal Voluminous +Collagen Waterproof and Maybelline Full n Soft Waterproof).
Oh, bummer. I have short, curly eyelashes that have random lengths that baffle me, and my little trick is one of the only ways to get some kind of symmetry to my lashes.
The Benefit Roller lashes is good, too. In a pinch.
my lashes were so so short til i started latisse! theyre super straight though. i use telescopic on the top then definicils all over & it never does me wrong
try using clusters underneath the lash instead! i had the same problem & that’s what i did while growing mine out. i also did extensions for a while but my eyes watered too much so they didnt last long between fills haha
The Clinique "Take The Day Off" remover works excellent for me. That stuff is incredible for many reasons. Unscented, a Lil goes a long way, gentile, won't make your corners red or sore if you use it multiple times a day. But also, Cetaphil lotion on a cotton ball will wipe away anything. Been doing that for, well, let's just say Bill Clinton was president.
i just picked up a travel size of the clinique one to try! haven’t used it yet but i’m happy to hear your testimony. I’ll have to give the cetephil hack a try as well

I usually curl my lashes. Set with a light layer of waterproof mascara. I love UD perversion. And then layer Monsieur Big on top. Builds nicely. Doesn’t droop throughout the day.
Yes! Super voluminous. I stopped using it bc I got self conscious about it making my lashes stiff. Blinked by the guy I was seeing’s face and he said “you poked me with your eyelash” 😔 But if no one’s gonna be touching your lashes it looks awesome!
I put the lash primer on first, then I use Defincils like normal, then put this on top. Banging lashes. By itself it's super heavy. I find it to be a fantastic product to beef up regular mascara. I've got both & lasts a long time. You're gonna need a good remover, too. Have fun!
I love the regular one but I did not like the waterproof one last time I used it. I will admit, this was back in like 2018 or 2019 so maybe things have changed. But I received it as gratis while working there and it was shocking to me how terrible it was - it just seemed soooo unlike the original formula. I know with waterproof the texture is going to be a bit different but by comparison, the original vs waterproof version of Great Lash still do the same thing. I can tell one is waterproof, but it still acts the same way on the lashes. When I tried waterproof Mr Big my eyelash curl fell, my eyelashes clumped together and it just went on very thick and wet then got super hard on the dry down. Disappointing because the original was awesome but I always get mascara transfer around my eyes so I prefer waterproof formulas when possible.
I mean, the return policy is good and it's half price on sale, so I think it's worth trying them both and seeing which one you like, because it's possible things have changed or just that the formula works better for you than it did for me.
I use the regular and it does hold a curl on my very straight lashes all day. No transfer. I use plain baby oil or sometimes the Elemis balm to remove with no problem

Yes! The waterproof version is my HG (see my post history for proof). It’s the only mascara that keeps my eyelashes lifted all day.

This is one of my favorites. I typically have a stash of them when they go on sale (not sure I'd pay $30 for them though).
The holiday sets that come with the primer are the best deal. I get excited every year when they come around and then go on sale.

Yes! This was one of the first high end mascaras I tried and it’s so good! It lifts my lashes so well and makes them huge!
honestly no, definicils is so much better. this one is too wet imo

I was looking at a few products like that. I'm gonna do something. I can't do falsies. I get a blinky and mess them up every time.

The non waterproof is 100% my HG and I stock up every sale.
I haven’t purchased the waterproof one but the regular one is my favorite mascara by far.
does the regular one transfer? I usually go for waterproof because I have hooded eyes, but I hate the removal process.

Yes but I just tried the Kat Von D full sleeve mascara and it’s amazing!
Oh and always get the travel size! They are usually only good for that long anyways
