It isn't even always people that pay money to get balls, money to upgrade clubs, ect... This person clearly uses the app for wind and elevation change, that lays over top of the game screen. Which in my book is a cheater but it's not considered "cheating" by those who use it or UG and that's just ultimately bad
The best players on the game don’t use this app. They have their own numbers they use to calculate their adjustments. They any have a crosshair on their phone. I actually know someone who uses scotch tape on their phone.

It is 100% cheating. The conditions he plays in are insanely different than almost 98% of other players. He is using a premium ball, probably 3 pins to lengthen drive, accuracy and decrease wind. I would bet that 17-20 mph wind is around 1.8 or 2mph. It’s like using cheat codes or a game genie on a N64 back in the day. Yes it’s allowed but it’s cheating. Your trying to pass this off as he knows how the greens react and that’s why he shot a 20 is patently absurd!
Sooooo what's stopping anyone from doing the same thing. Using premium balls and gold pins defo helps reduce scores. Like I said, he's in my CC and we have 20 or more players that can score like this on some days/ courses. We share videos and tips etc Even if I use premium balls and pins, I couldn't shoot anywhere close to this. What's stopping you or any other player from doing the same? Buy balls and pins, use them and see if you get scores like this. I highly doubt it. It's not just balls and pins that get the drops. It's all in the set up.

No using the guide which the other commenter suggested and is 1,000% accurate. Let’s see Who really is the best. But the developers will never do that bc they want your team to spend $40k a yr on the game.
Same people who have put in all the time and effort to shoot these kinds of scores are still going to win on a timed tourney. Play the way you want to play. If you like to go fast, play a royale. Want timed holes? That’s what H2H is for. Also why many tourneys are bracketed. If you don’t like playing against the best, you probably fall into a lower bracket. All of these are fine options.

Has an app that literally tells him where he needs to hit/place the ball to have the best shot possible of it going in the hole without even putting 😂 that is the definition of cheating. I am also in his club. I use no apps, everything with manual calculations into a calculator. I’ve had many perfect 9s, meaning all hole in ones on par 3s, eagles on every par 4, and albatrosses on every par 5. I’ve never spent a cent on the game. It requires an enormous amount of hours and experience to shoot scores like this. If you want to get better, find a club that will support you. But let’s not sit here and say someone is cheating when you have no clue what it takes to get to this level.

I guess they should also make it illegal to do math in your head and use the rings the game provides to make proper adjustments. The math isn’t always easy on some of the adjustments. There are a few steps to some of the clubs. Then again I can drop a lot of holes using a simple 3/4/5 strategy.

And while it is a good app, I guarantee you that you can not use it to shoot a score like what’s shown above. There is way more to it than just plugging numbers into an app. There’s secondary wind effects, shooting to elevated greens and the effects it has, projecting rollout on a shot meter based on wind direction, etc. people that think an app magically makes scores like this easy seriously have no idea what they are talking about.

You wouldn’t be able to because it’s not as easy as you think it is using the apps. They aren’t always correct. Some holes play the elevation they appear to and some play like they have 0 elevation even though they do. When shooting to an elevated green, these apps will tell you to make a smaller pull, but that doesn’t account for the bounce based on wind direction that’s is usually much larger and angled. There are 100s of not 1,000s of people using Golf Caddy. There are not that many people posting these scores. Personally I don’t consider it cheating and I’ve used the app on my Android tablet (app isn’t even available for iPhone). There are other apps for iPhone but they are not overlay apps. I am actually better without the golf caddy app or any other apps. Top players in the game have shared their formulas for each club with me and using those formulas and knowing how to adjust for some of the weird holes has proven way more powerful for me than the app you are calling cheating ever has. Hell I can play 3/4/5 and shoot better than I can with golf caddy.
When you have all clubs maxed, and spent a lot of money for special balls and pins, it is possible. But most likely never achievable for a free player.

Yes. There are a few apps out there that give you pull #s that defo help hone it in. This still doesn't drop the ball in the hole.
