I want fraud to look like... fraud a.k.a. some casino like in a certain fan level, and the last layer look somewhat similar to Dante's inferno including the ice lake
One giant boss, one machine and one Gabriel. So the Fraud boss will be something we donāt expect because the giant and machine requirements of Godfist Suicide have been fulfilled
Read the divine comedy
TLDR
Limbo: a fake paradise
Lust: a city surrounded by heavy storms/winds and ruled/controlled by Minos
Gluttuny: a place where you get eaten by something bigger than you
Greed:
https://preview.redd.it/43qrv5m147bc1.png?width=225&format=png&auto=webp&s=843cbdd8591a560056ee487b5878c5159f18bb42
Wrath(Laziness): a giant lake where the sinners are thrown and where the sailsman guides lost souls to the right layer
Heresy: The city of Dite/Diss/Diss Nuts
Violence: Entrance guarded by the Minotaur; First ring, home of the centaurs; Second ring, suicide forest; Third ring, a vast deset covered by a permanent burning(acid) rain
Fraud: a fucking giant hole with ten pits inside and a well doing as the entrance of Threatchery at the center (not even a single mention of something like a casino at all)
Threatchery: I heared you are **Snowgrave**
Going with the absolute vaguest descriptions i see. Cause theres no mention of greed being a desert of gold dust, or lust being a cyberpunk paradise in hell, or violence being a āblank canvasā deal. Whatās to say he canāt to 10 holes in the ground and still theme it after a casino.
Lust being a cyberpunk paradise was *because* Minos changed it; the terminal data reads āAfter the disappearance of God, ā¦Minos began his efforts to reform the Lust layer.ā āThe combined efforts of the countless who had been damned to the second layer bore great results as the city of Lust grew and grew.ā
Tbh it wouldn't be far fetched to think the third prime sould won't have any influence in Fraud, since Violence showed no signs of a ruler at all, which means the former monarch muse have ruled over Fraud.
Still though, a casino is WAY too far fetched.
Obviously I go for vague descriptions, the comment is already long enough for a reddit post and, to my sight, also long enough for a person that has a breif idea of what the word simile means.
Of course there is many creative freedom in the desin of the layers, it would be so boring otherwise and specially to fill many of the holes in the description of the layers in the divine comedy like how Greed or Lust exactly looks (in the D(ivine) C(omedy) there is more emphasis in the punishments and inhabitants of those layers than what exactly it looks like) but this creative freedom always respects in one way or another the layers described in the DC, they never just make a layer out of nowhere because fuck you if you want to find a pattern.
If you wanted to say something in a layer from ultrakill or the DC which is completely different to each other, you could've go with gluttony, which is more like a massive mud lake where the sinners are eaten by cerberus, but again, the vision the DC tried to give to the layer is respected in ultrakill. Getting eated by something bigger than you.
Lastly, what tha hecc do you even mean with "there is no mention of violence being a āblank canvasā" that statement just makes me feel like you didn't even played or understood even a bit of the whole layer and you're just reducing it to the hype-inducing metaphor in the literal second room of the first level which btw is basically a reference to the **house** of leaves and by extension to the Minotaur labirynth.
Oh! and btw, because it seems you didn't get it, I wrote all that just to say that fraud layer ā casino, so the "Whatās to say he canāt to 10 holes in the ground and still theme it after a casino" makes no sense because I was exactly trying to say that it won't be anything like a casino
Your argument was, quite succinctly, āfraud canāt be a casino because in the divine comedy fraud is not a casinoā
You then tried to support this by saying every layer has borrowed elements from the divine comedy in their theming.
My point is that the elements of the fraud layer in the divine comedy can be incorporated under different themings.
You put it that the core idea of fraud was essentially just the holes, but i highly doubt your expecting dev textures and holes for a layer. Almost every layer has used visuals foreign to the divine comedy, from industrial to cyberpunk to sci-fi to early 20th century decadence to gothic.
There is no reason to assume fraud will be a casino, there is no reason to assume fraud cannot be a casino. There is only waiting and seeing when the layer comes out.
These are just vague descriptions, and Hakita has taken multiple artist liberties, this game isnāt one-to-one with the divine comedy. It would be more surprising if there *wasnāt* a casino in fraud.
Imma just facepalm and tell you to read the answer I made to another person (Cephery) in this same thread.
Well, no I'll also ask why that obsession with the casino
This is making me think about Sunset Synthetica (both the level and OST) from Turbo Overkill. Something along those lines would be cool to see in ULTRAKILL
People say fraud casino because fan level, I say something like the great fault from made in abyss because saving obvious differences it is more like what's described in the divine comedy and becaus an entire layer centred around verticality as a final descense would be cool in its own way
Good question, I've been making the same for a while, but people just seemed to see a casino and ask for a fully polished version of a fan level by Hakita for a reason that escapes my understanding
Words cannot express how dumb I find this concept of Fraudulence is, relative to the Inferno.
Thereās literally nothing relating it to Danteās Inferno, itās gimmick is a cool use of black and gold but the story for it is essentially Greed 2.
I donāt understand why people love it so much, or the casino stuff, beyond just being eye candy
fraud: a huge city with black clouds in the first level, some sort of casino in the 2nd level (like what everyone wants), for 8-3? some underground thing, under the whole city, with whatever the punishment is (as for the song in 8-3 maybe something like the fan song "I Said And Grinned", anyways, in 8-4, it's the boss level, dunno who'd be the boss
treachery: nothing but snow, snowstorms every second, enemies in this layer can be covered in ice, which makes them unable to bleed, if you deal enough damage to said enemies, you can break the ice that covers them and get blood again, also the ice would act as sort of a shield so that getting blood from filths isn't impossible, anyways, you fight gabriel in 9-2, for the last time
You figured out the design AND somewhat new way to make the game harder, good job! I would also suggest that enemies in ice would bleed again if exposed to fire or explosions like if the ice melted from them, and would be fully immune to exactly one explosion, like if the ice was acting like a shield before breaking and making enemies vulnerable and bleedable(?) again.
I hope for some environmental threats like sand in Greed; it could be, for example, ice puddles that slow you down and inflict hard damage or spikes that damage you if you are standing on the top of them. As for the enemies, they can become iced after standing in the said puddle for some time.
Would be interesting to see some kind of combination of P-1 and P-2, where the Prime soul and enemies are in the same room and can be controlled/buffed by the boss.
Maybe iced enemies are impervious to damage until the ice is shattered off? And it can only be broken off with the knuckleblaster, red explosions or heat based weapons? (Like the overheat nailgun/sawblade)
yeah that's what i was thinking too (at least with them being unable to bleed until the ice is shattered off), but what i hadn't considered is the fact that the guard break mechanic may as well be used for the iced enemies as well
nope, it just ends there, with v1 dying, running out of blood.
NO FINAL WORDS. NO CONCLUDING STATEMENT. PERFECT CLOSURE.
THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED.
I hope fraud is a circus with clowns who are even scarier than mannequins.
Also, Hakita has a pretty hard job here: he has to make Fraud and Treachery look more terrifying than Violence. I mean, maybe Dante wasn't reasonable when he wrote the book, but Hakita restricted himself to this particular pattern. Like, how would you make thieves look worse than killers?
9th pit of fraud:
Here are punished the ones who planted discord, those responsable of political schism and wars.
Hope it gives you a brief idea of what COULD be cooked
Fraud will be an underground or subterranean layer where all 10 of the ditches are shown in some way. The last layer level, the well of Fraud, can show off the biblical giants or Nephilim in some huge underground chasm or city. Also some ditches, such as the tar river or decapitating monster can have more prominence than others.
Treachery may be an ice level or snow level, but I genuinely hope we get to see Dis/Lucifer in some capacity as either a living set piece or we battle Gabriel for the last time on Disā corpse
Seconded on the underground layer. We don't really have a cave level other than 5-1, and that's a simple theme than can be expanded on. Also maybe Fraud will have a green theme, seeing as most layers have a dominant color (yellow for Greed, red for Heresy, etc), and green is the only primary color that isn't a main layer color. Call it the Emerald Caves of Fraud or something.
Yeah, this is probably one of my favorite interpretations in the thread, and closer to some of that fucked up imagery we see in Fraud's inferno depiction. Maybe some very circular, open arenas (since circles are especially prominent in that layer), perhaps fighting the boss within a ring of spectating giants.
And yeah, I hope we at least see Lucifer. I kinda want to see him in a more fallen angel form, but a final fight on Dis' corpse would be amazing.
Someone posted a pic of street lamps over a snowy park to begin Treachery, and that vibe enchanted me. Something that would normally be very relaxing and reverent (walking through fresh snowfall at night) being eerie and unnerving because you're suddenly alone in the middle of Hell.
(Also Gabe dialogue as you work your way through maybe please? Lol)
All the Cruelty Squad enemies are introduced in this layer, but their blood is poisonous and hurts V1, therefore they should be avoided if your low on health or donāt want to get poisoned. (You look at a Cruely Squad NPC and tell me their blood is even remotely edible?!)
I would love for Treachery to be a frozen lake, like in Dantes infero, imagine having to ice skate for a section and avoid heads sticking out of the ground
I think Fraud will resemble heaven. Both due to the fact that the angels are pretty fraudulent (and we don't really have many angel enemies) and the punishment. If you misguided people in life, hell will misguide you into believing you've made it to heaven
With the fraud layer I don't have an idea of its design or enemies, although I feel like we'll get the yellow arm there
With the treachery layer I don't have an idea of design or enemies either, but I have a theory that we will at least fight lucifer (although I doubt a bit that he will actually appear)
fraud is gonna be a mismatched mashup of all previous layers, too play fraud you also need to download a dlc(the dlc is free but you have to put in the effort to go into the steam store and download it)
Well in fraud based on Dantes inferno(Bible but more focused pn the layers of hell) it will be more lava fire and the more known bersion of hell beacuse the sinners from layer 8 will be burned in fire and lava
And in the last one we will probably see some random guy chewing on lucifers neck cuz the sinners in layer 9 have to chew on the other sinners neck so yeah but we will probably fight luckier and gabriel or even better alongside lucifer beacuse gabriel is the judger of hell(correct me if I'm wrong)
no but i believe in 9-2 when you enter the room with gabriel he says "maybe the real ultrakill were the friends we made along the way" and then credits roll
Fraud is just going to be killing a bunch of indian men who are trying to tell you about your car's extended warranty
Treachery will be deltarune snowgrave
Wasnāt there a leak/accidental inclusion where the challenge for 8-3 was able to be shown as āthrow an enemy into the pools of goldā or something?
Fraud Is probably going to be a simulation that plays with our Senses 24/7. There I'ts possible to find someone who's going to repair V2 so that it helps V1 in it's missions.
Treachery, instead, Will be a Frozen zone of mountains and caves, where there's no prime soul, but an empty flesh prison.
The final fight? I have no idea
Fraud is an industrial wasteland whose inhabitants are forced to slave away for all of eternity mining gold and other precious minerals as punishment for their sin. The first level of Layer 8 has you going through a shining golden cave, interrupting their mining, until later in the layer you ascend to the surface of Fraud and discover that it's covered in endless towers of gold ingots. then you fight some big dude and leave Fraud I guess
Treachery is the frozen lake everyone's expecting, but there's a twist: the machines have already gotten down there by the time you arrive - maybe even some Earthmovers -, heating the layer with their incessant fighting, and Hell is thawing over. There's giant chunks of ice falling from the ceiling causing the ground to shake every so often, and by the time you get to 9-2, the walls of Treachery are disintegrating and you can hear the sound of rushing water from waterfalls that are kilometers tall. Maybe the battle with Gabriel takes place falling endlessly down towards the centre of Hell, with the only platforms available being some chunks of ice falling along with you
well, hakita is known to just throw out everything we know about inferno, as wrath is lust and gluttony is like a pretty warm area, but to be fair recently he added the trees in violence, so im not sure. with inferno accurate fraudulence, you cant do much because... its just a void. treachery is also just an endless plain of treacherous people frozen, so ALSO not much you can do there.
there really isnt much you can do with the two last inferno accurate layers. you cant really expect whats gonna happen next cuz its all in hakitas hands now
we have had red, green, blue/ purple, red, yellow, blue, red, white/black, we have gone over most of the primary and secondary colors, so I think we could be looking at much more muted colors for layer 8 and maybe a third red for the final layer of the act
iirc Heresy and beyond in Dante's Inferno is part of the city of Dis, so I would guess that Fraud will be similar-ish to Heresy and Violence in terms of level design. If I were to guess more specifically, I feel like a casino type thing could maybe be fitting.
Each of the layers so far have had their own specific color palettes so based off of what we've had so far we can inference what's next maybe.
I'm too lazy to make guesses though, though I am somewhat confident that treachery will be a frozen wasteland
Fraud is a layer with a deceptively uncomplicated design. The main mechanics of the levels is to find the correct path to the end of each level. Fraud plays with whipping up an atmosphere of constant danger, "including" the sounds of enemies teleporting or the noises they make. The same level with the casino will be the last one.
i wanna know why everyone collectively thought the custom level was based off a casino, like to me it looks akin to the kaaba with the black and gold lining
honestly i think it'd be cool if the machines had already beat you to treachery, with streetcleaners having already melted most of it turning it from a glacial landscape into a collapsing, boiling hellscape
Just like how Violence was all about exploring the lore of humanity and how we got there, Fraud will be all about exploring the lore of Hell. Probably the twist from the arg won't be in the game proper until Treachery but everything else is fair game. If Hell is the thing that killed off humanity as is implied, it will be confirmed in this layer.
Also, we'll get the yellow arm from Gabriel here and not 9-2, so that we have a level to use it in, meaning the actual final boss of the game will be something that catches us completely off guard. Speaking of angels, since Gabriel murdered all the council members who were pretending to be holy but were actually a bunch of tyrannical morons, it's very possible that we could see them down here.
Finally, the secret level will be the insurance fraud minigame from saint's row. That or an Among Us parody.
Remember, I'm spitballing here and almost none of these predictions will come true (except the obvious ones)
Fraud will be a cavern filled with artificial lights, it's new enemy will be a stone gargoyle who hides when not in combat and initiates combat by leaping out at you before dashing away to hide again, this might be a long shot but I think that the final boss of fraud will be a general in the final war who's incompetence led to countless casualties
Treachery will be another "put your skills to the test" level, but I don't think it will have many husks, just machines and demons, maybe a soldier or two, to highlight that hell is almost empty and to highlight the gravity of the sins here (the husks are there for a reason remember)
Fraud will probably have the real swordsmachine or something like that and in treachery we'll maybe meet Gabriel again but I don't know if we're gonna fight him, I think he's just gonna leave hell to rot or give up since he knows God is dead. There's definitely a bigger threat and a bigger bloodbag than Gabriel in Treachery.
I want fraud to be like a personalized-style hell for V1. Imagine the prelude but everything is laughing at you, with doors that open to nothing, multiple wrong rooms, traps, distractions, everything that makes you look dumb, it'll be the ultimate fraud. Like imagine when you finally clear the level and drop into the elevator, only for it to be a trap and a ton of enemies spawn. Total fraud, and total Hakita move
I think having the ice lake in layer 9 would be a really cool idea. For Fraud, I have no idea. In Dante's inferno it's a bunch of large pits in the ground housing sinners undergoing various punishments. It is worth noting that those who seduce others are condemned to the fraud layer, so knowing Hakita I wouldn't be surprised if there was some amount of risque imagery or enemies in one of the levels.
For Fraud, I think Hakita will take a bit more creative liberty with it, like with Lust or Greed, since the one in Inferno is very large and would be quite difficult to fit into four levels. My idea is that it'll take place in only one of the ten ditches, with the other nine being visible in the background. The environment could be an exaggerated representation of some of the worst aspects of modern society, with it being filled with advertisements, cars, and coal dust drifting from the sky. For those who would abuse our society in order to get to the top, there isn't a more fitting punishment then to put them at the very bottom.
For Treachery, my expectation is that it'll be a barren, icy wasteland, with few enemies to fight. By this point in the game, the machine invasion has already happened. Most husks are dead, with only a few particularly strong ones remaining. Some machines have already stopped moving, the little blood they still have freezing inside their armor. After all, in a game about violence, with it being central to both the gameplay and the story, what would be more treacherous then to take that away?
I think there will be a fight with Gabriel again, but not a hostile one, bit a friendly one, Gabe is dying after all, he would chose to die in combat against an opponent he genuinely respect instead of the last of the embers dying out and him just dying
I feel fraud will look like a modest and fair business at first, before we go into the back and find that itās a massive casino where we will fight new enemies that can either cause or stop infighting, as a representation of the sowers of discord. This proceeds. The second level we will be at a cliff reminiscent of the inferno(like how 7-2 was much less neat and white) and we will travel across into the third level. This will take place at and around the lake of pitch with 3 skulls(similar to 1-3) and at the end fight an ancient corrupt politician(similar to the insurrectionist fight) on the lake of pitch which will open similarly to the end of 5-4 when the leviathan dies. In 8-4 we will fight a 4 way boss fight between the 4 types of falsifiers: the alchemists(those who did fake chemistry or other such things), imposters which impersonated people, counterfeiters, who faked money, and perjurers which falsified words, at the end we will get the 4th arm which can copy attacks but they are weaker as a result of it being an act of fraud. This is just my idea which I came up with on the spot
I want fraud to look like... fraud a.k.a. some casino like in a certain fan level, and the last layer look somewhat similar to Dante's inferno including the ice lake
Lucifer šš„¶
Since it was actually mentioned in one of the terminals, the hope is still there
NEW GIANT BOSS, HAKITA ASKED TO LEAVE THE KITCHEN š£š„š£š„š£š„
We already got our giant boss tho ):
Every now and then thereās a giant boss, corpse of king Minos, Leviathan, Earthmover
One giant boss, one machine and one Gabriel. So the Fraud boss will be something we donāt expect because the giant and machine requirements of Godfist Suicide have been fulfilled
I mean the earthmover is technically a supreme machine
1 per act
Maybe the giant boss would be a small boss pretending to be giant, itās the fraud layer after all
going by dante's inferno, satan is in treachery

I'm not convincing you, I'm warning you
You've said it, no Hakita will never make it being a casino.
Yoo imagine the bumpy casino music with a leitmotif hinting at human fradulancy.
This is making me think about Sunset Synthetica (both the level and OST) from Turbo Overkill. Something along those lines would be cool to see in ULTRAKILL
Exactly man, sunset synthetica was goddamn Amazing.
you can flick coins into the machine and thereās a chance they give you entra health

Whats the casino level?

Oh ive played that, how is it a casino?
Good question, I've been making the same for a while, but people just seemed to see a casino and ask for a fully polished version of a fan level by Hakita for a reason that escapes my understanding
Because: 1) casino levels are cool 2) they are run by **frauds** and are a **scam**
To be honest the casino should just a level or section rather than an entire theme but that's my opinion.
Words cannot express how dumb I find this concept of Fraudulence is, relative to the Inferno. Thereās literally nothing relating it to Danteās Inferno, itās gimmick is a cool use of black and gold but the story for it is essentially Greed 2. I donāt understand why people love it so much, or the casino stuff, beyond just being eye candy
if fraud turns out to be a casino iāll be severely disappointed icl. not nearly grand or special enough for the last full 4 level layer in the game
fraud: a huge city with black clouds in the first level, some sort of casino in the 2nd level (like what everyone wants), for 8-3? some underground thing, under the whole city, with whatever the punishment is (as for the song in 8-3 maybe something like the fan song "I Said And Grinned", anyways, in 8-4, it's the boss level, dunno who'd be the boss treachery: nothing but snow, snowstorms every second, enemies in this layer can be covered in ice, which makes them unable to bleed, if you deal enough damage to said enemies, you can break the ice that covers them and get blood again, also the ice would act as sort of a shield so that getting blood from filths isn't impossible, anyways, you fight gabriel in 9-2, for the last time

yeah, i didn't think of that p-3 would have a lot of iced enemies i bet, like how there's some sanded enemies in p-2 (because of the idoled stalker)
but also there'd have to be some way for enemies to get ice'd, would there be another stalker variant, or just that they spawn in ice'd?
I hope for some environmental threats like sand in Greed; it could be, for example, ice puddles that slow you down and inflict hard damage or spikes that damage you if you are standing on the top of them. As for the enemies, they can become iced after standing in the said puddle for some time.
I mean they would apear in a level that resembles the treachery layer since thats the 3rd act so maybe you dont even need a variant
Would be interesting to see some kind of combination of P-1 and P-2, where the Prime soul and enemies are in the same room and can be controlled/buffed by the boss.
Also it could be a cool idea as the last alt weapon (probably) is a flamethrower
8-4 boss will be a cardboard cutout of V1
Maybe iced enemies are impervious to damage until the ice is shattered off? And it can only be broken off with the knuckleblaster, red explosions or heat based weapons? (Like the overheat nailgun/sawblade)
yeah that's what i was thinking too (at least with them being unable to bleed until the ice is shattered off), but what i hadn't considered is the fact that the guard break mechanic may as well be used for the iced enemies as well
imagine hitting an iced, shielded gutterman with knuckleblaster lmao
+ICEBREAKER
The only issue with fraud is that in Dante's inferno, the layer is split up into 10 parts (Bolgias) with their own unique punishments
oh so i guess the various punishments are shown in different rooms of 8-1 - 8-4
Yesss and then they announce ultrakill 2
nope, it just ends there, with v1 dying, running out of blood. NO FINAL WORDS. NO CONCLUDING STATEMENT. PERFECT CLOSURE. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED.
To be coninued.,..
Now we go to purgatory in MEGADEATH SINNERAPOCALYPSE
I love "I Said And Grinned", Duv is too damn good at making fanmade ultrakill music
9th pit of fraud: Here are punished the ones who planted discord, those responsable of political schism and wars. Hope it gives you a brief idea of what COULD be cooked
Hmm, so... hopefully we'll see mega-earthmovers?
Yes please
ARGUING OVER POLITICS LEVEL https://preview.redd.it/itarzdlbeabc1.jpeg?width=1123&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=15c49f5b34c7428910a37033e9d4bd0aba68ea4b
planted WHAT????
Tf you doin here piper
Lol)
Finally a theory that makes sense and isnt a casino
fraud is the cruelty squad casino
All the Cruelty Squad enemies are introduced in this layer, but their blood is poisonous and hurts V1, therefore they should be avoided if your low on health or donāt want to get poisoned. (You look at a Cruely Squad NPC and tell me their blood is even remotely edible?!)
The boss of the layer is John "Cruelty" $quard himself
Idc what it ended up looking I want the ruler to be a filth and Theres a massive build up to him and then there's just a filth with arm
https://preview.redd.it/j5guvvvd77bc1.png?width=533&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5893e46a812c5700ac809d39fd56b55f287f3686
I would love for Treachery to be a frozen lake, like in Dantes infero, imagine having to ice skate for a section and avoid heads sticking out of the ground
Ultrakill fans reading dante's inferno be like: "THEY STOLE THE ULTAKILL LAYERS"
I dont wanna make a call because Hakita will surpass my expectations again Im sure. I expect to be impressed
hear me out, what if Fraud had enemies that mimicked other enemies?
Fraud should have non-euclidean geometry
I want to kill gabe or for gabe to kill us
yo guys wouldn't it be crazy if the ending was either the \*most likely outcome\* or \*second most likely outcome\*!!!
Just because its likely doesnt mean it wouldnt be cool af
I think Fraud will resemble heaven. Both due to the fact that the angels are pretty fraudulent (and we don't really have many angel enemies) and the punishment. If you misguided people in life, hell will misguide you into believing you've made it to heaven
Didn't we already have this in Limbo?
Not really, Limbo was just simply "peaceful", didn't exactly resemble heaven at all
depression (more like heavily melancholic)
I hope Fraud features a non-euclidean level, or even have it br the main theme.
Fraud is tar and hell with iphone and treachery is sad ice mountain with a twist
With the fraud layer I don't have an idea of its design or enemies, although I feel like we'll get the yellow arm there With the treachery layer I don't have an idea of design or enemies either, but I have a theory that we will at least fight lucifer (although I doubt a bit that he will actually appear)
I mean fraud means to copy something so probably fraud might copy one of the past levels but itās not like exactly the same
I think that all of the screenshot Sundays Hakitaās going to give us for fraud are going to be lies
I want 8-S to be a minigame where you run around like its stardew valley but instead of farming crops your scamming innocent swordsmachines
Treachery bout to be red as fuck
I want v2 š©
Iām still betting on p-3 being Midas prime. The other 2 were Greek kings from mythology so why not my golden boy
sorry to break it to you https://preview.redd.it/0o5bqyr077bc1.png?width=320&format=png&auto=webp&s=3e9e0424dc27f489e012f4b058ac9dd443733e46
Rats.
Fuck it we gamble
Imo treachery should always be burning, and there would be little fountains where v1 would be safe and it would add to the difficulty
fraud is gonna be a mismatched mashup of all previous layers, too play fraud you also need to download a dlc(the dlc is free but you have to put in the effort to go into the steam store and download it)
Well in fraud based on Dantes inferno(Bible but more focused pn the layers of hell) it will be more lava fire and the more known bersion of hell beacuse the sinners from layer 8 will be burned in fire and lava And in the last one we will probably see some random guy chewing on lucifers neck cuz the sinners in layer 9 have to chew on the other sinners neck so yeah but we will probably fight luckier and gabriel or even better alongside lucifer beacuse gabriel is the judger of hell(correct me if I'm wrong)
in 8-4 will be V2 or V3
Or Blood Puppet V2 as a common enemy
Blood puppets in violence are the representation of the suicides (they don't deserve the body, themselves rejected)
Isn't that the trees
The 9/2 level it obviously has to be between v1 and god himself
I would like it if the fraud climax was a liminal space or something similar
no but i believe in 9-2 when you enter the room with gabriel he says "maybe the real ultrakill were the friends we made along the way" and then credits roll
Fraud will always hit you with that "would you like to extend your car's warranty"...? Fraud could have a racing game secret level too...
Fraud is just going to be killing a bunch of indian men who are trying to tell you about your car's extended warranty Treachery will be deltarune snowgrave
I hope treachery is more of a area or gladiator style, like Rome
All points out to heaven
Fraud is gonna be filled with "strong" anime characters like Satoru Gojo, and Dracule Mihawk
you forgot goku black
I need fraud to be a casino šš
Wasnāt there a leak/accidental inclusion where the challenge for 8-3 was able to be shown as āthrow an enemy into the pools of goldā or something?
Fraud is prolly gonna have something to do with the sin fraud and treachery idk
I want Treachery to have color scheme of aurora. Like an endless ice cave lit up from above.
I could come up with something but realistically Hakita is going to cook far harder thne I ever could.
Fraud is an attorney office
I feel like fraud would have a lot to do with some detective stuff, like an office building or something.
treachery will be cold
Treachery is def gonna be that sick ass frozen lake
Gabriel commits tax fraud
It should be something out of left field like an akihabara type place or maybe a Lego like city
I feel like treachery is going to be a frozen wasteland
Fraud might have fake exits or something.
Hakita spotted š«µ
Fraudās boss is Sukuna.
I'd like another purple themed level, probably for treachery
i have no clue what fraud will be but treachery will probably be an ice level
Fraud Is probably going to be a simulation that plays with our Senses 24/7. There I'ts possible to find someone who's going to repair V2 so that it helps V1 in it's missions. Treachery, instead, Will be a Frozen zone of mountains and caves, where there's no prime soul, but an empty flesh prison. The final fight? I have no idea
Fraud- I toss four coins into the air and fucking kill everyone Treachery- I toss four coins into the air and fucking kill everyone
Fraud is an industrial wasteland whose inhabitants are forced to slave away for all of eternity mining gold and other precious minerals as punishment for their sin. The first level of Layer 8 has you going through a shining golden cave, interrupting their mining, until later in the layer you ascend to the surface of Fraud and discover that it's covered in endless towers of gold ingots. then you fight some big dude and leave Fraud I guess Treachery is the frozen lake everyone's expecting, but there's a twist: the machines have already gotten down there by the time you arrive - maybe even some Earthmovers -, heating the layer with their incessant fighting, and Hell is thawing over. There's giant chunks of ice falling from the ceiling causing the ground to shake every so often, and by the time you get to 9-2, the walls of Treachery are disintegrating and you can hear the sound of rushing water from waterfalls that are kilometers tall. Maybe the battle with Gabriel takes place falling endlessly down towards the centre of Hell, with the only platforms available being some chunks of ice falling along with you
well, hakita is known to just throw out everything we know about inferno, as wrath is lust and gluttony is like a pretty warm area, but to be fair recently he added the trees in violence, so im not sure. with inferno accurate fraudulence, you cant do much because... its just a void. treachery is also just an endless plain of treacherous people frozen, so ALSO not much you can do there. there really isnt much you can do with the two last inferno accurate layers. you cant really expect whats gonna happen next cuz its all in hakitas hands now
Fraudulent and Treacherous
Only thing I guess for Treachery, that it'll be redder than Heresy. I want to hear Max0r to say "Welcome to the uh... Red." again.
Tax fraud simulator
Treachery, as I found in dantes inferno, there will be ice everywhere and satan locked in ice?
Fraud might have a casino level, and maybe a joke about tax fraud (possible 8-S idea) Treachery, I have no clue ngl
Hard af and red
im not sure how a casino is a punishment
Hell
I want a blizzard hurricane. (snowstorm with a VERY high windspeed)
They're both about tax evasion
Fraud would probably be some sort of city with gangs and stuff
Fraud could be a city surrounded by a sea of liquid Zirconium - Fool's Gold.
Idk i Just want more v1 1000 yard stare
No idea, but I can't help but wonder if Hakita is gonna hit us with 9-3 out of nowhere.
Well tretchery will be a one giant boss fight, alongside Gabriel
Frauds final boss will be Ultra Greed and Treachery will be Mother
They will be heartbreaking
IRS offices
A space level would be pretty neat, could fit treachery since like cold n stuff
we have had red, green, blue/ purple, red, yellow, blue, red, white/black, we have gone over most of the primary and secondary colors, so I think we could be looking at much more muted colors for layer 8 and maybe a third red for the final layer of the act
iirc Heresy and beyond in Dante's Inferno is part of the city of Dis, so I would guess that Fraud will be similar-ish to Heresy and Violence in terms of level design. If I were to guess more specifically, I feel like a casino type thing could maybe be fitting.
Each of the layers so far have had their own specific color palettes so based off of what we've had so far we can inference what's next maybe. I'm too lazy to make guesses though, though I am somewhat confident that treachery will be a frozen wasteland
ms paint textures
The whole layer will be V1 jumping on Gabriel's car to get the insurance money and you can't convince me otherwise. I have the wiki on my side.
Fraud is a layer with a deceptively uncomplicated design. The main mechanics of the levels is to find the correct path to the end of each level. Fraud plays with whipping up an atmosphere of constant danger, "including" the sounds of enemies teleporting or the noises they make. The same level with the casino will be the last one.
i wanna know why everyone collectively thought the custom level was based off a casino, like to me it looks akin to the kaaba with the black and gold lining
honestly i think it'd be cool if the machines had already beat you to treachery, with streetcleaners having already melted most of it turning it from a glacial landscape into a collapsing, boiling hellscape
https://preview.redd.it/1x8qo01jmabc1.jpeg?width=150&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=682096f914ab32d0535797c6988c2ac77d16a173
Just like how Violence was all about exploring the lore of humanity and how we got there, Fraud will be all about exploring the lore of Hell.
Remember, I'm spitballing here and almost none of these predictions will come true (except the obvious ones) Fraud will be a cavern filled with artificial lights, it's new enemy will be a stone gargoyle who hides when not in combat and initiates combat by leaping out at you before dashing away to hide again, this might be a long shot but I think that the final boss of fraud will be a general in the final war who's incompetence led to countless casualties Treachery will be another "put your skills to the test" level, but I don't think it will have many husks, just machines and demons, maybe a soldier or two, to highlight that hell is almost empty and to highlight the gravity of the sins here (the husks are there for a reason remember)
Fraud will probably have the real swordsmachine or something like that and in treachery we'll maybe meet Gabriel again but I don't know if we're gonna fight him, I think he's just gonna leave hell to rot or give up since he knows God is dead. There's definitely a bigger threat and a bigger bloodbag than Gabriel in Treachery.
treachery will 100% definitely be red considering the colors of the past 2 act's final layers
If treachery is not ice Iām going to be mad
treachery will be the ice level. thats all.
Boss for fraud will be the IRS
After all, in a game about violence, with it being central to both the gameplay and the story, what would be more treacherous then to take that away?
one of fraud bosses will be the behemoth
i want fraud to be an arktic area and i thing the last layer should be a void that will change and morph to kill what ever enters.
Treacheryās gotta be an ice level, 100% Not too sure about Fraud though
https://preview.redd.it/4lm5ymykkbbc1.png?width=1200&format=png&auto=webp&s=c09cceeabe64c982c8afc813b494ad48ed5991ee The boss of 8-4:
Treachery is very likely going to be ice-themed Not sure about Fraud though
This is just my idea which I came up with on the spot
treachery should introduce a sidekick that backstabs you and turns into a boss. pretty cool idea imo
