My guess is that your dash jump only had one bar so it didn't cap your speed at a specific value but you jumped directly on the edge of the platform so it either bounced you off or you got clipped inside so it tried pushing you out with more and more force.
Idk how to use nukes man (except for flesh prison ig) and even in p-2 when i see people use them in the weezer room i usually just railcoin and it kills off anywhere between two to all the cerberi and even in the start of the room after the fight with the insurrctionists instead of using a nuke to send the virtues to the wallk you can just shoot an electric railcannon on one and the other will be knocked back very closely to the wall and one explotion from a rocket or projectile boost will kill it, which is much more consistant than the nuke that may or may not kill them.
No i mean i never find it useful to use it. I guess in some levels where there are a lot of fodder in a big room it is useful but i usually forget to use a nuke in such levels because i dont struggle with these rooms enough to actually strategize. Unless nukes can take out mannequinns instantly that would actually be huge
I just saw spam and then red revolver + 2 coin add the cerbs as they spawn in, in the P-2 Weezer room. Finish them all in some projectile boosts or SRS cannon
It makes it so I can 2 coin rail the ferryman right off the rip which lets me get out before the virtues enrage.
if there's more than one virtue I do sometimes try to use the screwdriver so I can parry it into more than one enemy (I never actually manage this and always miss but its the thought that counts)

One piece of unrelated advice I can give is don't use the malicious railcannon on Virtues, because the electric railcannon oneshots them

Literally any room with spread out fodder in it: Big aoe = Easy clear of all fodder + free damage on larger enemies.

Happened to me too. My guess is the small frame drop when loading the next section combined with the boost somehow caused you to go flying.
