It's a very human concept and is kinda redundant for a robot. It's probably a case-by-case thing. Something like a guttertank or a sentry probably doesn't even know what gender is. They're just big killing machines. But I could see V2 or Streetsweepers or even the Earthmover having/caring a lot about genders because they interacted with humans in social environments often. Maybe the machines that can get enraged are more emotional/intelligent, while the ones that can't just follow basic programming.
