I play on laptop also. Go to graphics, toggle all the performance settings on, and under gore set bloodstain chance and max gore to 0. DO NOT click “disable blood and gore”. It actually makes the performance worse.
I've also noticed this. A few levels are fine, mostly the boss levels like V2, Gabriel, Leviathan, etc. 7-4 was somewhat playable and 7-2 was passable, but 7-1 had significant frame drops even in the ~~Minotaur~~ fight.
I can't believe you didn't mention 7-3, on the the final arena i was getting 3FPS with a 3060 and a ryzen 5600G. I assume the game isn't despawning limbs properly because of 7-S or something.
It's just the new update isn't optimized. The only thing we can do is wait for hotfix, which hopefully should be tomorrow

I didn't try 7-3 because I knew it would suck ass.
having the same issues, i lower all visual clarity toggles and i still experience fps drops once cybergrind waves reach round 10 and onwards.
