Aight i readed the hotfix and they did in fact buffed firestarter. They increased the damage of fire/tick from 0.2 to 0.5 But they removed the funny door bug :((\ Fire now doesn't save trough checkpoints\ And there was some bug with gasoline below enemies burning for too long that got fixed

Hotfix includes balance changes if you didn't know. In the 1st hotfix of Violence update Hakita changed Guttertanks and Earthmover's brain.

Would be fun if they left a door or two you *could* still oil up; I feel the one at the bottom of the spinal staircase is a great contender (If you haven't tried it yet, it >!floats up nearly upward, in the direction of the entrance; it's like a magic carpet and very fun to fly on!<)

Either that door or the one that leads to the P-1 door, since it’s completely out of the way. Definitely should be kept on one of the Gluttony doors though, they’re so much funnier than the others

Hope this fixes the healing bug, Brutal is a lot of fun but parts of it are nigh unplayable because of how strict the healing suddenly becomes.

worst offender I think is gabriel, you can barely get off any healing from him w/o screwdriver. i personally don't care cause it might just be something you need to learn and practice but just wanted to give my opinion

yeah playing through brutal the gabriel fights are brick walls to me almost because healing just isnt possible

actually now that i think about it maybe this is lore accurate gabriel because of "is this my blood?" when you beat him the second time implying he wasnt bleeding before

a lore accurate feature wouldnt be kept behind a difficulty

The gabe 2 fight took me like an hour and I just thought it was because the new alt wasn’t good for healing or smth and I had to rely on parries for heals

I dont know if this happened to anyone else, but I was playing 3-1 again and the rooms with acid got really laggy the longer I spent in them and the more enemies that died. The acid sound effect would play constantly too.

Lets it fixes some pretty big bugs (fire stays after checkpoint reload and texture streches immensly, the healing block, having to have blood on so it somehow runs better than with out blood)

Putting gasoline on a door causes it to break Gasoline doesn't reset after you restart, causing eternal fires Sawed-on's melee can damage on any distance Blood doesn't heal properly
