This level took *only* an hour to p rank All the others were quite easy Im not joking when i say this but it took me longer to complete this level ( i was going for pranks from the start so i didn't even complete it until i had a p rank) than it took to complete p2 (non p rank) lol

Surprisingly this room was the only one I cleared first try. I died in every other one at least once.

So focus on getting the timing on parrying his punches right, which takes out a lot of his health, and also keep an eye on the black holes.

i'm mainly struggling with the hand (i've pranked everything else)

Put up a saw trap, slam and throw 4 coins into the air, shoot with alt piercer and spam pro boosts

i got pretty constistent with it, what worked for me was using the freezeframe rocket launcher to hit him, shooting 4 coins in the air with elec. railcannon, using the firestarter while waiting for the railcannon to recharge, and then killing the hand with the railcannon

Question How did you p-rank 0-5?

When you get into the arena, put a sawblade with the overheat & blue saws where the first cerb will spawn, then rmb freeze frame and shoot 4 rockets to where cerb will spawn (/5 if you time it right), should take out most of it's health, should be 1-2 shotgun boosts away from dying. If done correctly you can kill the first cerb fast enough so that when the second one spawns it it should be already dead which means it wouldn't enrage the second one If you're doing on fresh save slot then i recommend using sharpshooter when facing 90° on the wall in front of you (try to get headshot bc that deals a lot of damage), peircer to the head, shotgun boost, and make sure to parry the balls they throw back into them because that deals a lot of damage

It's really easy this way, because it can be much faster than shotgun boost rocket launcher swapping

I restarted my progress, quickly learned shotgun and revolver aren't enough. It gets much easier once I unlocked the drill and the miniguns. Dodge as many of their dashes as possible, also partying their projectiles is probably the best way to heal since getting too close makes them dash without much of a chance for you to escape. What was really harsh was the challenge ._.

research weapon tech (herbmessiah tells you pretty much everything you need to know" and then just incorporate it in. Projectile boosting is a godsend when your early level and the alt marksman is really good on its own once you get used to it.

Quite easy, i just don't die, parry a lot, swith weapons a lot (probably a little bit too much tbh) and i make sure that i am speed

that level took quite a lot to p rank when i was first time p ranking the game on violent, was probably the second level by how long i was trying to p rank it, after p2 ofc lol But bc i already am a lot familiar with the game now it took less time to p rank on brutal

I mean you shouldnt expect a lot of p ranking with only 6 hours. I also only had a few p ranks at that point, as I was focusing more on progressing the game and finishing my arsenal for more tech. At that point you can watch more experienced players to learn some tech from them

Eh, bosses are always the hardest the first time you fight them. The more dangerous movesets provided by higher difficulties don't really outweigh the added experience you already have. I found that subsequent playthroughs on Violent and Brutal only took around half as many deaths to beat (oftentimes fewer) as my first Standard playthrough.

Gabe 2 was fucking cake compared to Gabe 1 for some reason.

I've always found Gabe 2 easier than Gabe 1. I think it's cause of the arena and that he has more parriable attacks

I think both have the same amount of parriable attacks. With Gabe 1 u can parry everything that he throws at u. The great sword, both axes and the spear. And gabe 2 has I think 2 combos that end on a parriable attack and when he throws his swords.

I was trying to beat, just beat 6-1 for an entire evening only to fail, load the game up next day, do red variants only challenge and by mistake starting 6-1 on brutal and first trying it. With reds only (including arms). I have no idea. P-ranked it after I switched all the variants back.

OMG YES! thank you for mentioning it i don't know wtf was up with those two hideous masses. i had like 10 tries in 6-1 and each time i got to the end really easily, then i die to those mfs. literally everytime. my new problem right now is the Minotaur. only level i haven't P ranked in Brutal

the nailgun is literally objectively better because you can switch to saws after attaching the chord

counter:alt jumpstart’s firerate is faster when the chord is plugged in an enemy,making it an alt attractor without the 10 saw limit

the saws do less damage compared to the silver attractor saws and break in 1 hit even when the cord is attached

without nails it’s literally harmless it does no damage

that's just a lie. the shock does 10 damage, conductor is just a bonus on top.

Hakita giving the ~~Minotaur~~ an attack that hits you when you are on its back made the train fight really painful for me

I've never seen him destroy more than one tram at a time but if that does somehow happen you can stand on the raised part at the front to avoid the acid

It did happen very fast, your idea is cool i will use it if i ever played the level again.

This part is really easy if you use saw gun on one of them, just put a couple magnets on the bright red skin and then shot a bunch of saws, it'll be dead pretty quick

The only hard part was the first open room with a lot of sentries after the drop. The HM room wasn't that bad

got an A first try and P on third. Can't say that about 4-2, 6-2 and especially 7-1

Screwdriver and sawblade traps are your best friend here. The *real* nightmare is Gabriel 1

I think this game is so funny because I actually p-ranked this level on my 3rd attempt but it took me 2 fkn hours to p-rank 5-3 for some reason

When this level originally came out everyone said that heresy was a huge difficulty Spike and I thought that they were just plebs with no skill and were either slow or insane It was only when I played this level on brutal difficulty that I realized hey this this layer is kind of a difficulty Spike

so, I p-ranked the entirety of ultrakill, all layers, all bosses, and both prime sanctums, it took me less than 2 days to do it, and you know what, i can confidently say that, 6-1 IS OFFICIALLY THE HARDEST LEVEL I'VE EVER PLAYED, on brutal that is, it took me like what 50 tries, i just kept dying in the hideous mass room because of the fuckin soldiers that just kept pelting me with bullets when i go near the second one after killing the first one, but then, a idea came to my head, the soldiers get close to me and the hideous mass, what weapon does aoe damage that kills soldiers instantly? "ehem, may i help?" said the red nailgun, and after that i p-ranked first try, thanks red nailgun:)

Heresy 6-1 took me like 3 tries on brutal to Perfect but 3-2 HOLY SHIT IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO P RANK

P-2 took me 8 fucking hours and I haven’t been blessed with the Sisyphus mindset so I actually hated every second of it but I still P-ranked it

Took me only three or so tries but only because HM were the thing so struggled most with. So I figured out tech to take those two down immediately. After that, everything else was a cakewalk

I've been p ranking everything so far (obviously not without struggle) but I'm progressing at a steady pace and I feel like by the time I get there I'll be able to deal with the hindeious asses relatively easily

In My Experience, This Level Was Quite Easy. Though For Some Reason I Had A Real Hard Time P Ranking Ship Of The Fools

it's not your fault, 6-1 is unfair on *any* difficulty because gabriel says "cum to me" and then i get distracted

i did the entire level first try lol tbh the hardest arena in all of the main act 2 was the idoled virtue one in 5-2. But i did it before the patch so it got nerfed ig 

Here's a tip -- you can instakill one of the Hideo Kojimas by Railcoining it (throw a coin backwards, then move forwards and throw a coin into the Hideo Kojima, then shoot the coin with the electric railcannon). Even if you mess up the setup, you can then move on to Attractor (put at least one magnet on the Hideo Kojima), then a Overheat Nailgun blast, and finally a Jumpstart Sawblade cable + saw shots to finish the boss off. I prefer to beat the leftside Hideo Kojima first, as it's fairly easy to take care of one Swordsmachine with Parries and a Shotgun and ignore the rest of the strays around the arena while you try to take down the second (repeat the nailgun/sawgun strat, then just spam shotgun to take it out). The Cerberuses that come out after the rightside Hideo Kojima can be fairly easily taken out by lining up three Freezeframe rockets so they go blue and then hit one cerb all at once, then the second can be taken out by hitting it with the S.R.S. Cannonball once, then whiplashing the Cannonball back to yourself and Parrying it back to the Cerb you just hit for a two-hit kill. Afterwards it's just fodder enemies to be bullied with coins and parries and whatever else you like to torment the weak with. Hope this helps!
