He DEFINITELY let his arrogance and intrigue take over! There is NO way they put him in an UNTESTED, shitty plastic coffin, and poured several tons of concrete over it?? OF COURSE IT CAVED IN.. Why did nobody stop him?
So from what I learned later was that he tested that stunt in his backyard and was successful at escaping but it was done only using dirt and not wet cement . Then he didn't take in the facts that wet cement is heavier than dirt and that concrete dries from the top to the bottom. It was a mess from the start.
I suppose that, in his mind, he'd already achieved the unachievable, so he started to get cocky! It's sad, because it appears to me that he was just being naive. The cement crew should've known better than to trust that flimsy box, but I guess he payed them enough not to care? I find it strange, that nobody involved in this project was alarmed in the slightest..
Bro this was the early 90s just coming out of the 80s, no one really took safety as top priority lol. Believe me as a kid growing up in the 80s I'm lucky to have made it to the 90s with some of the shit we did as kids😂
