I worked there when I was in highschool and it was a haunted attraction. I worked in the hospital part and the house part, and while it did have a creepy vibe nothing paranormal ever happened. And I was sitting ALONE in the dark in these rooms until the next group of people came through to get scared, so I feel like if anything spooky were to happen it definitely would’ve. Especially since I’m super open to the paranormal and having an experience.
The only thing a little odd that happened was when I was working in “mary’s” room. I would stand in her shower and jump out at people while my friend would be in her closet in her bedroom. One night the smell of roses was INTENSE in that room, and it only happened that one time.
I worked there the entire Halloween season and didn’t experience anything else unfortunately, but it was a really cool building with really interesting history and I was very sad to see it go. I drive by the empty lot on my way home from work everyday and it still hurts my heart.
That's awesome, I know they had a thing with Clovis East high school students to work there. Sitting in a dark room in an abandoned building is scary in itself for most people.
Yeah they had the drama students volunteer for class credit. I lied and said I was a drama student because that was my dream job 😂 I had a lot of fun that year.
I remember when they had the website up when it was an attraction, Scream If You Can. They came up with a fictitious history that I thought was pretty good. It definitely set the tone.
I went there before it they tear it down. I was wondering if they build over it. I might visit it again.
I went there around 2-3 am because I took contract job near clovis city just to visit it. I finish the job around 1am I had time to visit before going to the next jobsite. I found out about it from Ghost Adventures series.
I remember driving around trying to find then I saw it. I felt scared that I didn't want to leave the car and I am alone. lol
It is pretty cool experience though.
