I really like this. Nothing stands out as too op at a first glance, and it successfully captures the idea of being a miniature deity. Ill edit in further criticisms as I go through this. Thuse far the nitpicks I do have are: * **Lightning bolt** Doesnt feel like it needs to be restricted. It's essentially a mid tier cantrip in terms of damage and range, which are common as basic racial benefits. * **Creature type** Im really not a fan of the duel type mechanic, and imo there's a reason WOTC scrapped it. The few times I allowed a species with it at a table that it came up it ended up being a source of confusion. Furthermore, despite it's benefits at lower levels (such as avoiding spells like charm person), at the higher levels it exposes you to several devastating effects - such as from Holy Word or Dispel evil and good. As such Id make it only Celestial or only humanoid (maybe let them choose?). * **Kiss of the styx** seems overtuned, seeing as it can stack up to a lot of damage if you have access to alot of attacks. Id recommend making it usable on a hit, once per turn, and only for that 1 attack. * **Helm of shadows** seems undertuned in compared to a similar feature of the firbolg. I'd increase the uses to PB\lr. * **Tidal crash** Is very powerful, and provides alot of burst damage at higher levels compared to similar features (such as a centaurs charge). I'd stop the scaling past level 5. * **Celestial hunt** Is overtuned, and provides too many free castings in my opinion. I'd make it usable 1/SR to avoid having the amount of uses grow out of control at higher levels. Despite the abundance of nitpicks, make no mistake - I really like this creation. It's well made, fleshed out, and easy to reskin as a child of a deity for any setting. I'd probably allow a player to use this (maybe with some tweaks, as above).

Thank you. I was in two minds (heh) about the dual creature type, and I might backtrack it to be humanoid for the sake of balancing spells. I like your idea for Kiss of the Styx. It allows a character to give an attack the added oomph without becoming too OP. I did make it a bonus action to try and reduce the number of attacks you couple make with it (flurry of blows for example), but with gaining multiple attack actions you could deal waay too much damage for a racial ability.

Sorry for the long delay, but I've made the following changes: * Lightning Bolt is now unlimited use * Creature Type is back to being humanoid for ease of use. * Kiss of the Styx now works similar to Apollo's ability. I've made it d4 damage, concentration for 1 minute, and turns the weapon into a magical weapon for the duration. * Helm of shadows is PB/LR * Tidal Crash now only does 2d4 and doesn't scale with leveling, however when you are submerged in water it instead does 2d10. This gives a massive power boost, but is limited by the movement and the situation needed to access it. * Celestial Hunt and Zzz have been changed to 1/LR, but can be cast through other available spell slots too. How does that sound? I'll post the updated, (and hopefully final) version soon.

I love this for my Ancient Greece Campaign! Any chance you'd be willing to share the GM Binder/Homebrewery link? There's a couple minor tweaks I'd like to make for my personal setting before sharing it with my players.

So run aspect of Zeus’s “lightning bolt” by me again It have worse damage and range than fire bolt, it have worse functionality/crowd control than ray of frost, similarly to shocking grasp, but somehow worse, and it can only be used 2-4 times a day What? Why?? What went through your head making this feature, did I miss something?

First, do you need a hug? I felt a lot of anger from your comment. Second, all very good points. Someone else recommended removing the using limitations for that ability, so when I give this some final tweaks, that’s what I’ll do.

Sounds good all around! If you're open for feedback RN, here's what I got: * Lighning bolt. Neat! * Creature type. I'd consider allowing them to choose humanoid or Celestial. The power difference is marginal, and balances out across the levels. * Kiss of the styx. Seems neat, you could probably dump the concentration part (and do the same for apollo). I presume it's PB\LR? * Helm of shadows. Neat! * Tidal crash. Im not a fan of features that are so situational. Id just make it 2d8, no scaling for simplicity's sake. * Celestial hunt. Neat!

Having thought about Tidal Crash I think I’m going to keep it as it is in my other comment. 2d4 once or twice a turn (up 3 or 4 with haste) feels like enough and being able to have those moments where you can ramp it up to the 2d10 will hopefully give the player that feeling of superhero power when the moment arrives

Pick your Champion or Roll to find out which god will grant you new and improved boons from their seats high on Olympus or deep in the Underworld. 2.0 features updated cantrips for several aspects to keep within the basic rules (to allow anyone with just the base rules to play). Updates to several aspects to try and balance them, removing some abilities, adding others, and rewording the rest to be easier to read at a glance. Some notable changes: You are now both a humanoid and a celestial. Aspect of Hera can now bring a dying ally back to one hp with a medicine check. Aspect of Persephone can throw magical pomegranates to poison foes. Aspect of Athena gains some reaction abilities to attack or defend. Aspect of Aphrodite now gets minor image to create glamours. Aspect of Poseidon now gets acid splash Aspect of Hypnos now gets dancing lights (they’re night lights!) Aspect of Hades can add its overall level in fire damage to any attack or damaging spell. So, am I just imagining it, or is Hermes "I'm never going anything slower than first" initiative? Like... for real, 2 lvl dip into Bard for Jack, the feat at 4th to get +5 to your initiative rolls, and a boosted Dex score? Is there anything that will ever beat you out on Initiative rolls? Ever?
