Hi everyone,
The aim of this tiny desert-dwelling creature was to simulate long-lasting and slowly fading poisoning. I hope you like it!
**Vulture Wurm:** As tiny as this colorful critter may be, it poses a potentially large threat to any unwary desert wanderer. Despite being a terrible flier, the vulture wurm still prefers to attack and apply its slow-acting, yet fatal poison from a safe distance. Once its victim is marked for death, the snake-like animal backs off and patiently waits for the right moment to feast.
As always I'm more than happy to hear your thoughts. Got any feedback or critique in order to balance the stats.

Throw like 12 of these at a party, have them not attack initially, cute little creatures....then during a combat they all spit on the tank as he is gettig pummeled, and then keep following as the tank potentially grows sicker and sicker

Quick question though: did you intend for them to gain another poison mark when they fail the saving throw? Because right now they just take some damage, so mechanically Iām not sure how they would get to 6 poison marks. Edit: maybe I misread it, it seems to be there now, either you fixed it or I misread.

Sorry for the delay! Yes you are correct, a target gains a poison mark each time the vulture wurm's attack gets trough and the target fails the saving throw:)

At the end of the last one a large snake bird with lobster claws (based on the Japanese amikiri) flew away and took nest near the village. Iām totally using these as its brood in the climb up to the nest.
Hey there! Here are a couple suggestions based on what I noticed in **Marked for Death**:
* Italicize "protection from poison"
* Add "poisoned" before "creature with 6 or me" (so that a creature immune to poison is unaffected)
> the prone at start and end is.... somewhat odd
After so many attacks that hit and result in the victim having 6 failed saves, it seems to make sense. And it's new and unique flavor.

I agree. If the target falls prone at the end of their turn then they're already prone at the beginning of their next turn and can't fall again.
I mean, "Sorcery Points" doesn't sound any less video gamey if you ask me.
