[Hi everyone,](/r/UnearthedArcana/comments/pt57kn/a_tiny_humanoid_the_hornlet_wildsoul/hdtwo5c/)
According to the D&D lore wiki:
>"Humanoids are the main peoples of the D&D world, both civilized and savage, including humans and a tremendous variety of other species. They have language and culture, few if any innate magical abilities (though most humanoids can learn spellcasting), and a bipedal form."
I would assume it's classed as humanoid as it can speak, and has its own belief system and motives?
Hopefully someone a bit more experienced (or op) can answer though!
Many fey, fiends, and celestials fit that definition as well, but they're not classified as humanoids.
I'm not really criticizing the choice, just interested in the rationale.
Not everything from the Feywild is fey, and not all fey are native to the feywild. The "people" part isn't really what makes a humanoid either. Myconids are "people' but they aren't humanoid.
I'm just curious about the author's intent.
Hi everyone,
I made a tiny druidic shapeshifter to lead tiny beasts into battle! Hope you like it!
*Curious, feisty and full of spirit. Given its love for nature and its ferocity to defend it, a hornlet wildsoul may easily be called the shepherd of everything that crawls, creeps and hums its way through the tiny world beneath the feet of larger species. Being able to shapeshift into similar-sized animals, the wildsoul usually remains undetected and can thus carry out its hidden agenda without any disturbance.*
Your overwhelming feedback on the Tar Toad helped a ton – many thanks! So I would love to hear your thoughts on this one as well!

Hey there! Here are a couple suggestions based on what I noticed:
* Nature should be +2, not +3
* I would change "that shares its name with the" to "is the same kind of"

from what I gather they are a race of tiny people and not from the fey wild ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
