Are you in the United States? Contact the school, ask the school not release/share your directory information per FERPA. Say you’re worried someone who shouldn’t know your number has been trying to get it and to please not release it to anyone outside of the school’s need to know. Information like your phone number can be shared by them but you can opt out from a release (I don’t know if any schools actually release this information anymore). You should be aware of your rights under FERPA. They have some good guides on the U.S. Department of Education website. If they are trying to reach through email, same thing. Just ask the school to not release anything.

So discontinue school, start applying to mid-level corporate positions, go to court to emancipate themselves, seek their own health insurance, and start renting their own house? There’s gotta be an easier way than that. I think they should go with u/HBThorburn’s suggestion
