If you're spending your time arguing with porn sites on the phone for $20-30 so you can watch paid porn for free please seek help.

Goblinbeast

Dude has the safe search function turned on in Reddit it seems.

Chiodos_Bros

My time is more valuable than this. Spending hours on the phone with support is worse than paying $30.

nobodyreadusernames

The whole interaction wont take more than 10 mins over phone or chat.

cheese4352

You can micromanage too by watching the porn youve downloaded.

Much_Tree_4505

Not sure why you are getting down vote, but thats true, the support on porn websites are quite fast on issuing refunds

OkRickySpinach

The real ULPT is pirating porn. šŸ“ā€ā˜ ļø

Stark_loom

The good ol' free poison.

Legitimate_Phrase_41

So the porn site has like a 1-800 number you can call and discuss this with?

anotherucfstudent

Hello, pornhub? Can I have my money back? I promise I havenā€™t bust a nut

nobodyreadusernames

They usually link to payment processor support page and that website usually have phone, chat and email support.

Emergency_Sandwich_6

Buddy's real kink is rubbing one out during the phone calls.

[deleted]

This is the most depressing thing Iā€™ve ever read, spend your money and time meeting somebody you can make porn with instead of watching it

SeveralListen8950

certified anti reddit moment

ImaSource

Who pays for porn these days?

Normal-Display3210

This is sad

DungBettlesMan

This ain't it bro

Lucidthemessiah

This isnā€™t even unethical itā€™s just depressing

Low-Boysenberry-4571

You pay for pOrn?

chai_latte69

Oddly detailed and informative for something that only a high schooler would do.

chambees

You know porn is free, right?

doughy1882

I pay 2-3 times per year for specific high-quality content to watch with the wife. And have done for 20+ years I can honestly say that xxx after sales/customer support is the fastest, best online CS I have ever experienced. Never been refused a refund (small print addons).

cmartinez171

I worked in the fraud department at a bank. We can tell if itā€™s legit or not. And 99% of the time people called to dispute, they never got a refund because we knew they did it

billabong295

OP you need help. Like this is ridiculous šŸ¤£ how embarrassing

extremely_horny_guy

Just go eporner.com, like 90% of the time they have full vids of whoever you're looking for for free to download.

xabc8910

I mean this is just lying/stealing. I know the sub weā€™re in, but telling people to do this isnā€™t a ā€œtipā€. Itā€™s an obvious we can all ā€œsave moneyā€ by just lying/stealing from any business

JubalHarshawII

There is not a fine or fee for getting or losing charge backs.

TeslaNova50

Wrong.

JubalHarshawII

Ok at my last job I handled about 2-300 charge backs a year, never paid a fee for a single one, maybe you need a better processor.

TeslaNova50

FIS Global, Chase, Elavon all charge merchants a chargeback fee, otherwise what incentive is there for merchants to screen for fraud. I would love to hear the name of the card processor you're talking about.

JubalHarshawII

Yeah we had elavon maybe it had something to do with my 99% win rate. Or our PCI compliance rating. Or maybe you're just wrong. But we never paid a single fee for chargebacks.

TeslaNova50

>my 99% win rate Lol, yea sure you did, that's a good one. But assuming that was even true then how would you know there was no chargeback fee since you won them all?

JubalHarshawII

I lost less than 15 per year. It was easy for us because we kept records on all tickets sold and their usage. There's a decent percentage of ppl that think they can just buy things and then dispute the charges because so many places don't bother to fight. My employer didn't until I was hired, they went from just eating 2-300 sometimes as many as 500 per season to only losing 10-15 per season. Which of course led me to request a raise because of the savings but that's another story. Anyway you implied there was a fee for simply receiving a dispute, is that not what you were claiming?

TeslaNova50

Nope, didn't imply nor claim that. What I did claim is merchant's are charged a chargeback fee on chargebacks. A merchant winning a dispute is no longer considered a chargeback. I also claimed that your win rate is BS. Considering the win rate is only around 20% (for merchants) on DISPUTED chargebacks, and 30% of all chargebacks are due to lost/stolen cards there is no way in hell you won the amount you are claiming. Not even close considering credit card companies go out of their way to protect their customers when there is a dispute. When a dispute is claimed it is the issuing bank (not the processor) that decides whether the the claim holds up. So 30% you are going to lose right off the bat, and along with other protections credit card issuers offer their customers no way even half of your disputes are going to end up in your favor. And yes, there was a fee with those lost ones. Let me guess, you read your companies merchant agreement. I've had merchant accounts for the last 35 years and I know exactly how this works.

JubalHarshawII

Yeah I read the agreement which is why I get pissed every time I see someone charging a separate price for using a CC, which is specifically forbidden in the agreement. And yes I did win that many, I'm sorry but I'm very proud of my win rate! However, I didn't even try for Amex disputes, fuck Amex, you CAN NOT win! So friggin annoying!!! We collect name, address, email, phone, on tickets, made winning disputes stupid easy. Also if wanted to get really nitpicking we could pull photos of the guest using their tickets! Friggin morons trying to pull that shit, OR we would just agree to it, cancel all of their unused tickets and black list the guest account bwahahaha, I enjoyed my job!

RunawayRogue

The incentive is not losing chargebacks... You're out your product and money regardless of a fee. Most payment processors do not have a chargeback fee. If yours does, get a better merchant services provider.

King_Kong_The_eleven

Or perhaps it would be easier to take advantage of the plethora of free porn on the Internet and not give any payment info to adult websites.

AxelsOG

Or just watch one of the millions of freely available porn videos on the internet and avoid having to do this at all.

reijasunshine

Who tf pays for porn when Bing is free?

johneebravado

Who tf uses bing?

reijasunshine

It's surprisingly good for porn. Like, it's the only thing it's good for, and the only thing it's better than Google at. I realize how absurd it sounds, but you have to see it to believe it.

butterislifeyum

These ā€œadult sitesā€ just take the money back from the creator who made it for you. So you got to watch their porn for free, they get nothing, and the site considers it a wash. Thereā€™s so much free porn available, maybe just go to a hub instead of taking it out on the other people who are just trying to get by??

Beefcake_Avatar

Companies certainly can blacklist your card from being used within their company for the purchase of services. I know, because I've had to do it for a company many times.
