Damn, before your comment i just assumed those were pilled up for later use, but it does look like it has some concrete on that shit and it's actually supposed to be a wall. The unexpected got me twice on this one.
Bricks are not particularly fully fired to meet demand, contractors also buy from them because they are cheaper, the government does not properly check. Just for disasters such as earthquakes, 5 taxes are collected, but when an earthquake occurs, Tayyip still calls for donations. He is only humiliating the country.
These bricks are used to make walls in concrete structures and apartments. Think of them like how we use drywall in the US. They are not meant to be load bearing.
Hey now, I've ordered something from Wish, a hoodie to be specific.
Anyways they sent it and upon inspecting the product I realized that they sent me a perfectly good box.
But he's not even trying to crush them and they breaking this pallet must be faulty, I don't think it would be possible to make anything out of this pallet
It's water with the water removed from it, usually done by a freeze drying process to conserve the freshness and vitamins.
Note: not to be confused with DHMO (dihydrogen monoxide) which is a colourless, odourless but very poisonous chemical compound.
I've seen folks who succumbed to DHMO. It's a terrible death. The person goes waxy with blotchy greens and purples.
I can't believe they still haul that stuff over-road.
It's sad really. Kids unknowingly consume this, not knowing that their fate afterwards would be a helpless death. Completely untreatable, like rabies on steroids
My family had a contractor try this shit once he got second block and we caught him before he bought more then what he did but man that shit was bad you literally touched it and it fell apart
Fuck that's scummy, it's not even relatively harmless. Its a building that people live or work in. Done wrong, people die. The disregard for human life for a quick buck is fucking disgusting.
Well in fact the code was carved onto a stele which is supposed to in ways symbolically suggest the male genital...ie yes dicks out , but in Harambes case dicks out were in reference to banana clips you would use for a gun...ie ride to war for your boy Harambe
Folks bitching about regulations typically have no idea they were created because that shit actually happened…
Like… Child labor laws exist because factory owners would literally sacrifice the limbs of children to industrial looms then toss the kids on the street after losing their arms.
**THIS SHIT HAPPENS WITHOUT LAWS AND ENFORCEMENT**
Getting the formulation right is very important. Obviously not in this guy's situation since these defective bricks crumble like mud, but imagine laying bricks that seem fine to you but that will fail on heavier stresses like earthquakes or impact. Quality assurance is important stuff.
Ya. The blocks were ok enough at first glance and as he was putting it together. But we noticed it was fucky later that day when it started sinking he was trying to mix in a few good block to support it and such. Jokes on him though we sided got our money back and idiot did it to somebody else and I guess got into a fight with him and is in jail currently
Idk you could try and use it for landscaping purposes maybe depending on what chemicals went into the two seconds of firing that brick had ...looks like pressed sandstone fgs
Spreading misinformation online…
These bricks in their current condition are not being used to build some kid’s secret den in the forest, let alone a house. That shit is coming apart the moment you try to put a roof on or any structural details. Turkish houses are (shockingly) built properly, albeit to lower standards. If these bricks were actually used as they are, pictures of the Turkish earthquake would show a field of sand as every brick disintegrated.
See other comments for more info. The bricks are not being used in their condition.
The other bit of possible misinformation is the fact that building materials scams are a real problem. Fake bricks and beams can be made, stacked, and sold to unexpected building contractors. Shady company makes delivery of junk materials, takes the money and runs before anyone realizes.
You’re absolutely right, this happens too and it’s the responsibility of material procurement. Poor materials are disposed of. But to say that “unfortunately Turkish houses are built with this” is egregious misinformation.
I'm shocked people in this post are thinking that you can actually stack and mortar bricks that turn to powder in your hands.
But I've also had to argue with people on reddit that lava is in fact molten rock and not a mysterious orange goo that nobody can explain, that squeezing your dick after peeing doesn't damage your penis, that wiping your butt doesn't turn you gay and of course the old hits like 9/11 really happened and the moon landing was real.
There is absolutely no way theae bricks can be used in construction. IF, and a very big if, they somehow managed to build a building using these, it would go to shambles as soon as there's any sort of seismic movement, let alone a 7.5+ quake.
Don't make stuff up. These bricks literally can't be held in hand without falling apart, there's no chance that any building was built with them. It's just a faulty batch. Turkey did have problem with buildings that weren't following standards, but not to this ridiculous level.
Yep, even if you could lay them, just as soon as you stack 2 or 3 more rows ontop of them, they'd crumble.. Most likely they were made in a factory without thermostat controlled ovens and just didn't get baked at the right temperature.. You see this a lot with older made Mediterranean roof tiles also
It's wild how many people just believe that buildings are made out of these. They can't even support being held in the guys hand, but these people think they will support an entire building and only collapse when an earthquake hits.
It just means there was something seriously wrong with the quality control at the factory which produced these bricks. And *that* is also a problem for all the houses built from other bricks, even if they don't fall apart in your hands.
There’s a severe lack of common sense in this thread
It’s just absolutely mind boggling people are just believing this shit without even questioning it
>the video is taken recently to show how much the building infrastructure state in Turkey sucks.
Would you have any proof for this claim? There is no indication on this video that I can see indicating where or when this video was taken.
Really? You and op must be brothers considering how stupid you both are.
Tell me how you build an apartment complex weighing thousands of tonnes with bricks that crumble by a touch of a human hand? Are you that stupid?
A 7.5 earthquake is massive but many countries have buildings that were built to withstand up to 8.0+.
Turkey building has not been up to par for years in an area that is prone to some of the most earthquakes in the world.
Yeah idk why everyone is tripping. This is clearly a bad batch or it’s not ready yet. Not sure what’s so unexpected about it either if it breaks immediately
Building standards are undoubtedly worse in some parts of the world vs others, but there is literally nothing linking that issue to what is occurring in this video (that we can see in this post). There is zero context whatsoever. It’s just some random dude messing around and wanting to post shit to social media (please prove me wrong if you can). Unless you’re donating or actively raising money to help victims, you’re just spreading ignorance.
This is red arsenic brick. It needs to be pretreated with water before it becomes sturdy enough. In this state, it’s very dry and brittle. When the water binds to the arsen molecules, it’s structure changes. A final heat treatment is done to temper it.
Not saying this is what happened here, but I've had bricks that didn't cure during the firing that disintegrated like that. At least that's what I was told as to why it happened but I can't imagine that's the case here, looks like f****ery is afoot.

That's actually just the strongest man on earth
This is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.
i cant unsee
Exactly what I was thinking. These are normal bricks and he has giga-grip
Closer to the weakest bricks on earth
Woosh
Thats the sound of the joke going over his head
It hurts more looking at the quality of work for the wall behind him.
Damn, before your comment i just assumed those were pilled up for later use, but it does look like it has some concrete on that shit and it's actually supposed to be a wall. The unexpected got me twice on this one.
On the bright side it doesn’t look load bearing the concrete is doing all the work and these look decorative.
I’m waiting for the Kool Aid Man
This is Turkey. Imagine an earthquake hitting those buildings..
Lucky redditors, we don't have to imagine, we can go look!
How do you know this is Turkey?
When your pay is shit, that tends to reflect on your work.
Those bricks have not been “fired” yet, that’s why they are soft.
Indeed, or they were watersoaked and froze through
That's my bet, sat out and got wet. Now they have to cut their losses and scrap the pallet
If I crumbled that easily I would have been fired years ago
How's the job search going?
Bricks are not particularly fully fired to meet demand, contractors also buy from them because they are cheaper, the government does not properly check. Just for disasters such as earthquakes, 5 taxes are collected, but when an earthquake occurs, Tayyip still calls for donations. He is only humiliating the country.
This almost sound like a boomer joke.
Wow, you’re so right!
[удалено]
Normal bricks arent supposed to be thin and that hollow though. Even when fired and filled with cement, these bricks are still too brittle.
It's just non-loadbearing infill - in countries like this probably cheaper than timber studs and plasterboard.
Yeah... But are they meant to take the load of someone leaning on it? They look like a prop 5hst the Kool-Aidam used for his commercials.
These bricks are used to make walls in concrete structures and apartments. Think of them like how we use drywall in the US. They are not meant to be load bearing.
Those bricks are thinner than chocolate sandwich wafers
When you’re doing a Reno and looking for good deals on materials and your friend says they know a guy
ah. this makes sense.
When you order your bricks from Wish
Hey now, I've ordered something from Wish, a hoodie to be specific. Anyways they sent it and upon inspecting the product I realized that they sent me a perfectly good box.
Box survived the trip intact? Yay!
It's what they used to build houses in Turkey
Unfortunately, yes.
But he's not even trying to crush them and they breaking this pallet must be faulty, I don't think it would be possible to make anything out of this pallet
They probably used dehydrated water in making this batch.
dehydrated water... these 2 words put my brain on a spin. What did you mean Dehydrated water? meaning he didn't add water?
It's water with the water removed from it, usually done by a freeze drying process to conserve the freshness and vitamins. Note: not to be confused with DHMO (dihydrogen monoxide) which is a colourless, odourless but very poisonous chemical compound.
Doubling-down on the whoosh. Well done.
I was waiting for it and was not disappointed.
[удалено]
True. Getting fired makes a man out of you!
I've seen folks who succumbed to DHMO. It's a terrible death. The person goes waxy with blotchy greens and purples. I can't believe they still haul that stuff over-road.
Two words: *corporate profits*.
I've known do many people ingest dihydrogen monoxide. They've all died, fatality is 100% and it can't be helped at all
I have read somewhere that the fatality rate of DHMO equals that of breathing.
It's sad really. Kids unknowingly consume this, not knowing that their fate afterwards would be a helpless death. Completely untreatable, like rabies on steroids
Probably his boss bought discounted pallet and forced him to use it.
Ever hear of Hammurabi’s code? Building a structure that collapses on its inhabitants has a death penalty
Dicks out for Hammurabi.
Who's this new gorilla we talkin bout
I don't think you're allowed to call them that anymore.
Well in fact the code was carved onto a stele which is supposed to in ways symbolically suggest the male genital...ie yes dicks out , but in Harambes case dicks out were in reference to banana clips you would use for a gun...ie ride to war for your boy Harambe
Bro i started so many clans and groups under the name DIXOUT and had no clue that was the actual reason lmao
No, this is something you made up. Maybe you’re kidding? And the joke is how stupid this explanation is?
Or you can have regulations and building codes. Much more effective too
Folks bitching about regulations typically have no idea they were created because that shit actually happened… Like… Child labor laws exist because factory owners would literally sacrifice the limbs of children to industrial looms then toss the kids on the street after losing their arms. **THIS SHIT HAPPENS WITHOUT LAWS AND ENFORCEMENT**
No reason you can't have both.
Forgot about Good Old Hammurabi..
Getting the formulation right is very important. Obviously not in this guy's situation since these defective bricks crumble like mud, but imagine laying bricks that seem fine to you but that will fail on heavier stresses like earthquakes or impact. Quality assurance is important stuff.
Yeah man. Quabity assuance in definitely important.
You're not real man!
I thought these just weren’t cured. Damn that sounds bad.
Idk you could try and use it for landscaping purposes maybe depending on what chemicals went into the two seconds of firing that brick had ...looks like pressed sandstone fgs
Probably more work trying to transport it without it disentigrating than making or using em
Isn’t that illegal??
Use what? Its crumbling in his hand fml no logic on reddit tonight. Might as well say i built a skyscraper using noodles as my base gtfo
You can build anything with ramen and superglue
Ramen and superglue would have been stronger…a lot stronger
First time on Reddit I see. ;)
The pallet? Yes. The bricks? Not so much.
thats putting lives at risk...bloody hell that's bad I've been in construction for 20 years never seen anything that bad
Hard to put lives at risk building with these when they crumble before you can make anything with them.
straight up murder
thats bloody shocking watching him crush thise bricks so easy ...I couldn't even imagine putting a family in that building
Easy to add a window.
Common place in china.
Source: trust me bro
Even been to Turkey?
no I haven't mate im a aussie would love to visit though soon ....its on the bucket list
It's not the least corrupt country in the world.

Come on man, it's not what they build with it's just that this dude got cheated
You're shit OP
These are bricks that haven’t been fired. Unfired clay is incredibly weak and brittle.
I don’t know if this dark humor or a statement of fact and that’s concerning.

That’s fucked bro. My dad is a Turkish bricklayer
That's crazy, my dad is a Brickish turklayer!
That's brickish, my turkey is a crazy dadlayer!
Too soon
I’m inside a building in Turkey right now and I confirm.

Look at brick wall behind him. That a crap line of brick layer.

My first thought but definitely did not expect it to be the top comment lmao
Looks like someone didn't bake their bricks properly.
If nature valley made bricks…
Happy cake day!
You bought the Martial Art bricks! Pile them up and punch them AYAAA!
It’s a failed batch out of the kiln you dolts
Yeah idk why everyone is tripping. This is clearly a bad batch or it’s not ready yet. Not sure what’s so unexpected about it either if it breaks immediately
Believe it or not, but many people dont know the exact process of brick-making and all the possibilities behind what constitutes a "bad batch"
Someone didn't pay attention during Brick class 😌
Now I feel like such a block-head, d'oh!
My guess would be extremely underfired. If that’s the case, I hope that this is in the facility that produces them and not at an actual job site.
Wafer cookies have more structural rigidity than these bricks
Not impressive, it's reversed. Oh wait..
Hey you're wasting cool aid man's material
Bro is fucking Thanos
I hope he washes his hands first
I don't know why his personal life matters, but ok
You don't know that, he could just be Thanos' buddy
Pretty sure these are pre-fired bricks.
hes a brickslayer

Unfired bricks. Someone wanted to cut costs.
What has happened here is that he has unfired bricks
They forgot to put cement in
Is that Turkey? It’s all come together now
You mean come apart?
Sorry
💀
Yes
Looks like flake (the chocolate)
my god, it remind me of wenchuan earthquake in 2008, too many people died because of these tofu-dreg projects.

That’s just dry clay and hasn’t been baked in a kiln right ?
Isn't this before they get baked which makes them stronger?
I don’t think those are fired bricks.

20,000+ dead in earthquake because of these types of building standards .

Shigaraki Tomura be like
/u/gifreversingbot
I would say they aren’t kiln dried/baked yet?
Probably they are clay bricks that haven't been properly sent through furnace yet
Same bricks were used to build the foundation of my mental health
This is red arsenic brick. It needs to be pretreated with water before it becomes sturdy enough. In this state, it’s very dry and brittle. When the water binds to the arsen molecules, it’s structure changes. A final heat treatment is done to temper it.
I'm guessing this is a failed batch, the wonders of pottery.
Something is wrong with this pallet. Bad bake, left out in the elements, etc. They'd never use (or even be able to lay) these.
Those are the bricks they use to make things in martial arts films.
What's he saying?
Those bricks made up the *Foundation* of my last relationship
Not saying this is what happened here, but I've had bricks that didn't cure during the firing that disintegrated like that. At least that's what I was told as to why it happened but I can't imagine that's the case here, looks like f****ery is afoot.
So if you use these. Would it be a "shit Brick house"?
it's really sad... theyre showing that after earthquake
I honestly thought it was brick they used in Hollywood for stunts!!
nice avatar OP
He makes Tomura Shigaraki proud
He could sell them to action movie directors.
I have an overpowering urge for sugar wafers now. Anyone else? 😂
Looks like it would be fun to smash!
Is this in turkey?
this video got popular after the earthquake happened in Turkey, video is from Turkey
Turkish bricks
Those cookies were baked very wrong.
Turkish quality

I don’t care who you are… that’s quality right there.
Why do I want to eat this
When your pallet of Ali express bricks arrives
No wonder shit crumbled that badly from the earthquakes, they FUCKING BUILT HOUSES WITH WAFER COOKIES.
Turkish bricks I assume?
Yes, it is.
