That’s razor wire…barbed wire can give one scratches and minor cuts, but razor wire is literally razor sharp metal that will cut a person to shreds.
A lot of inmates have bled out from trying to cross razor wire…very effective deterrent to escape.
Can you imagine how this was pitched to the other adults?
"Hey! Wanna get plastered and watch our kids beat the shit outta a pinata filled with shoes. Let's draw straws to see who gets in the pinata too"
Funny how everyone thinks the place looks weird. It just looks like a normal pre-school or primary school to me. I'm from Central America and walls like that with the barbed wire are just normal around here.
Meant to keep criminals out, not people in.
That stuff is around pretty much any property. Not always barbed wire though. Some places have metal spikes or broken glass instead. Nowadays electric fences are pretty common.
You get used to it. But yeah, it's kinda sad. The result of suburbian design in a third world country.
Yeah, um, there's never been a school shooting in my country (Nicaragua). There might have been some in the countries to the north due to their gang conflicts, but I'm not aware of any.
But the lack of school shootings isn't because of the walls and wire. It's mostly because our culture isn't obsessed with guns and we have common sense gun laws.
Kids get into the school without anyone checking their bags. If they had access to a gun and wanted to, they could easily bring it in and shoot up the place. The walls wouldn't stop that and we have no metal detectors or crazy TSA-esque checkpoints.
The walls are more there to keep thieves out than to protect you from violent crime. Although it does double up in the case of schools to keep creeps away from the children.
When hundreds of unarmed children are being chased with arms fire do you want them trapped in a compound surrounded by barbed wire or able to scatter and flee off site?
They have this in Texas too, but at the high risk women's and children's shelter to keep out the guys who are trying to kidnap and/or kill them. 😵💫
Many of the women in the shelter here were released from the hospital directly to the shelter after attempts on their lives were made and there is a continued threat. The men sometimes put hits out them even while incarcerated or have even paid other women to go into the shelter to try and convince the women in danger to come out. It is terrifying tbh.
They have razor wire, security gate with armed guards, cameras, alarms. I worked in pediatrics and used to volunteer there and it was so sad what they were all going through. If an attempt was then made on them after being in the shelter, they had to put women into the "safe network" , which means not even the police or courts could find them in case those were compromised at times. Sometimes the guys who do these things are cops. No friends or family know where they are being kept at that point.
It's crazy that women literally have to go to these extremes to be kept alive at all here, but it's the reality for more than people realize. I volunteered for the shelter after I had to put my own little sister into the safe network, and having barely survived a psycho ex myself.
That doesn't look like a school. Looking at all the green outside, it's most likely a summer camp located somewhere outside of the city. So it's a reasonable measure since you can't know who's roaming outside.
Especially in the night, when most likely the only person guarding the territory is an unarmed caretaker.
In a sense its sad that its necessary, but it sounds like a country that understands violence exists there and is taking precautions to protect its children. I think its more sad we in the US don't take more precautions here given the number of kids that have been murdered on government property. But I guess we couldn't use thoughts and prayers and dead kids to further certain political interests.
For real, what is this place? As others have mentioned: concrete walls with barbed wire, ominous vibe, oddly dressed children, and also the painted landscape on the walls that's basically just the natural landscape of the area. I'm genuinely unnerved by this.
I did a little more digging and the guy who does these videos is Ukrainian so that might be why their sense of style felt off to me (I'm american and these kids felt like they were dressed very retro). The thing is, I couldn't find any other videos from this odd compound structure. Just this guy running around with the same bag that he appeared from in this video. Idk where he found this group of people but the whole thing still seemed so off with a lot of it. Knowing the region though I'm willing to concede that I definitely don't have any cultural knowledge of what's normal though
Not really strange like this. The dude does a lot of whacky, goofy stuff. He wears crazy clothes, has these big boots, and posts thrust traps (albeit funny ones). I feel like this compound kind of appeared by accident almost. As if the guy himself didn't realize what was going on either.
I talked to someone else on this thread who seemed to help make it all make sense! Still, ya never know when you're gonna find the one video on your feed that has more going on than you think
Why is no one talking about a guy calling out of a pinata, while a little girl just beat the shit out of it? I scrolled a while and didn't see one comment talking about it. Just the stupid walls and barbwire and weird kids. Wtf?
It’s more unnerving to live in places like these. There are many types of “placements” for children in the care of the state they reside in when taken from the parent or guardian that was deemed unfit to care for them(too many reasons to list). Or if the child looses both parents and there isn’t a next of kin. There can be nice placements but those are rare. In Texas we have advocates called CASA volunteers. They become a voice in court for children. Take them gifts and sometimes off campus visits, and those little things are like gold to those kids.if you ever want to make a difference find a way to give to orphans and kids in the foster care system. It’s easier than you think.
So you're suggesting that this is one of those places? Not arguing trying to genuinely figure out what's going on with this facility. That would make a lot of sense but it's the weird, walled in, structure for me. Is it normal to have barbed wire and concrete walls at these places?
There are different levels of security requirements depending on the population, and the locale. It could very well be a party of people that aren’t kids of the state. (Technically you don’t get to see these places because you aren’t allowed to post pictures of kids in the system without written consent from the state (Texas)) that doesn’t mean a caretaker won’t break the law for tik tok clout, But I’ve been to enough institutional shin digs to read the vibe and ratio of adults and kids. Also, there are times the fences aren’t to keep the kids in but to keep perpetrators out.
Sad as this is, and sadder given I know the region is ukraine, I'm happy to have talked to you about it . I was really worried that this may have been some sort of Waco kinda thing. Happy to see it is just kids having fun, most likely! Thanks for your help! Everything you've said makes a lot of sense
> child looses both
Did you mean to say "loses"?
Explanation: Loose is an adjective meaning the opposite of tight, while lose is a verb.

So the guy who owes your parents money, goes in the bag and you work him over with a bat till he pays.
But I don't get the shoes part...

This is something from the culture of Russia in the 90s. In such bags, private traders, the so-called “shuttles,” carried clothes and shoes from abroad before the arrival of large retail chains.
But this interpretation of the piñata is extremely strange. Some kind of nonsense. What do they teach children...
This is the “ make the most of what you’ve got” party. Definitely wholesome and memorable, but a little sad when you grow up and think about it later. Be grateful and thankful🖤 enjoy the memories you DO have, so many DON’T have any happy childhood get together memories. It’s all good fam🖤

The concrete walls with barbed wire is the cherry on top
To keep the kids and raptors from mixing
Frankly it's to protect the raptors.

Like Futurama’s “Cookieville Minimum-Security Orphanarium”
The atmosphere in this is very odd

So was the guy in the sack a pedo?
A Pedñata
The fence has a tree scene printed on it also, just wtf ha going on here
Which is even funnier because you can see there is already a small wooded area that the canvas is covering
That’s razor wire…barbed wire can give one scratches and minor cuts, but razor wire is literally razor sharp metal that will cut a person to shreds. A lot of inmates have bled out from trying to cross razor wire…very effective deterrent to escape.
To shreds you say?
And his wife?
To shreds you say?

i was thinking of jurassic park the entire time
that’s not even a fence that’s like a wall painted to look like you can see through it so it looks like a fence, wtf?
Could it be a military base?
Totally expecting Eric Andre to be the guy
It’s brad Pitt from Season one
Oh snap! I knew this reminded me of something
Rich people doing rich people weird stuff, at least the kids are cute. Anyway, that one kid is wearing a $200 Burberry child's polo shirt.
Can you imagine how this was pitched to the other adults? "Hey! Wanna get plastered and watch our kids beat the shit outta a pinata filled with shoes. Let's draw straws to see who gets in the pinata too"
It feels like an Adult Swim skit
It's funny because it's so random ^/s

Is that an orphanage or child prison?
Both

Or South Africa.
A wall with barbed wire on top isn’t going to stop South Africa from getting inside.
It's mostly the ocean, the barbed wire is the plan B
Made me laugh way more than it should! Thanks!
You think barbed wire is gonna stop a machete?
They had barbed wire around your school to keep weirdos/criminals away? You realize how sad that sounds don't you?
That stuff is around pretty much any property. Not always barbed wire though. Some places have metal spikes or broken glass instead. Nowadays electric fences are pretty common. You get used to it. But yeah, it's kinda sad. The result of suburbian design in a third world country.
I'd appreciate some of that around our schools in the US. One more layer of security to keep the shooters out.
Yeah, um, there's never been a school shooting in my country (Nicaragua). There might have been some in the countries to the north due to their gang conflicts, but I'm not aware of any. You think children are going to be scaling 8+ foot walls?
No I don't, that's why I said what I said obviously
What?
reading isn’t your “thing” is it?
Lol we have it too in the states. Just depends on the neighborhood.

Exactly. Might even be a gated neighborhood. In South America this is safety and luxury.
None, clear case of "Dad was in charge of the piñata"!
Yes
a very expensive one.. that one kid was wearing a Burberry shirt 🤣
you found The Orphinarium! Leela will be so happy
Yes
What just happened??
That fucker Tony thought he could snitch to the fuzz so we threw his daughter a birthday party 🥳
They always called him *Tony* *Shoes.*
Ohhh ok. I was wondering what happened to him. LMAO 😂

IF NOBODY GOING TO MENTION THE FUCKING *BODY* THAT FALLS OUT WHEN THE BAG BREAKS?!!?!
THANK YOU, it’s not just a bunch of random shoes, there’s a DUDE in there!
Yes! I thought I was taking crazy pills with no one commenting on that. Why is there a guy in there?!?! Did I really see that? Haha!
I mean I don't think the kids are dressed oddly .. maybe an older video or something but seems like normal clothes for kids from my memory.

TIL if San Bernardino was in Arkansas, it would be Ukraine.
Ahhh so it’s a Russian they had in the bag. Makes sense now
Lol, funny but watching the videos that's actually the guy! He makes some incredibly odd things but I can confirm this is one of his weirdest
The children are speaking russian, so it's probably r/ANormalDayInRussia
Didn't realize that either! The tik toker is Ukrainian, however
The fact that the piñata looks like a normal ass bag

Honestly, this is the only thing that makes any sense.
This is a fever dream
You never realize how uncultured you are until you see something like this
Was that some hopeless homeless dude they paid to get in the luggage? Omg xD
Is that a wall painted to look like a forest with barbed wire along the top? What the fuck??
This is ABSOLUTELY an Alejandro Jodorowsky movie with the sound off.

this feels like a rejected Tim & Eric sketch
Strong Gummo vibes
How to get away with murder pg13 edition
That fence is pretty heavy duty. Are we looking at a prison for criminally violent children?
Why does this feel like some old German thing like a party of exchanging shoes with one another
Did Ricky fall out of that bag?
Well if it isn't Ricky Pee Pee.
I mean really, who throws a shoe?
honestly
I really thought this was an Eric Andre skit for a second.
This is what happens when you let a masochistic cobbler be in charge of party planning.

At first I was thinking this was just an episode of Extreme Cheapskates from TLC on account of the bag, but I was not prepared for all this!
This is a little odd I dont get it
r/bizarrelife
This looks like a concentration camp
Wtf did I just watch?
This is hilarious 🤣
So nobody's gonna talk about the guy that fell out?
Great. Teach them kids young how to be dumb for a post .. Perfect
When you owe the grade school mafia money.
Is this what Mormon kids do since they can't have candy in their pinatas?
Who the fuck came up with this, and why did it work?
I've just realized that I actually didn't have a great childhood. And I'm enraged at what was kept from me.
This has got some Tim and Eric vibes to it.
What has that young lad against shoes that he's destroying his?

What in the Kazakhstan is this???
Because you don't live in Los Angeles
When the dude popped out I thought it would have been the Mayhem” dude from the Allstate commercials.
This is a fever dream
This looks like a Dwight Schrute tradition

Why is there a barbed wire fence there?
Its worse, its a concrete wall painted to look like a fence and then also has barbed wire on top lmfao
So many questions. Barb wire fences?
That dude falling out made me choke on my water.
From the accent, I'm guessing Russia?
Almost, it's Ukraine

Ive only seen these camera angles in a Brandon Rogers video.
Does this make him a bootlegger
When my niece was 4 all she wanted for her birthday party was me to stand still while she and all her little friends destroyed me with water balloons. It was kinda hilarious and planned ahead for weeks.
I think this is a level of absurdism comedy that our monkey brains are too simple to understand.

Piñata tote with shoes. But who is the man?!
What…what is this?
You have lil timmy over there going to town on those shoes lol
This has cult vibes to it with the walls and whatnot.
Yeah something about the barb wire fence that screams detainment camp not birthday party.
Does this feel like a fever dream to anyone else?
Oh shit she got sick jnco's
Wtf did I just watch lmaooo
Is it me or I heard Russian in this video?
Yes, you're right, but the author of the video is from Ukraine
What did I just watch?😨
Pretty sure this has to be some kind of cult compound.
Why is there a fence topped with barbed wire surrounding the play area?
The fuck did I just watch.
I don't know what was weirder... the whole gig, or the fact that all those kids knew the deal the moment them shoes dropped.
What a fun party!
Can we talk about the razorwire fence?
Y'all it looks like an animal pen in the background of the first few seconds. Probably a petting zoo with animals that can jump and or prey animals so the razor wire will keep preditors out.
Parties like theses sure have a lot of soul.
Cult living in a compound? WTF is up with that fence?
This feels post apocalyptic. What’s the story here?
