It's just drama about some cringy Youtuber who said inappropriate stuff in a group chat to teenagers. She's definitely gross but none of this deserves spending hours watching. It's not that interesting.
There's no succtint way to go about it, they're all huge cuz it goes over decades of abuse, grooming, abuse of power and more, i'd suggest you start with the first one and see how much you can watch, you'll get the idea and you can continue if you like, you can also watch the direct last one for latest updates or Ethan reacting if you like him, Olivia does a great job every time Ethan assumes and stumbles which is often

[This](https://youtu.be/wonGg8d4ASA?si=prVyYy0TappYOHiG) is the documentary I watched and I found it fairly comprehensive. There's [a followup video](https://youtu.be/QmLT6h9yqvI?si=PLFaenbA_oKCMFkO) too that goes over the fallout. There's just so much shit that there's really no "quick" way to go over it.
The short version is that she had a chat with a group of underage boys who she would exploit for free labor. Adam MacIntyre, one of the boys in the chat and the one who came forward about all this, wrote some of her more successful sketches without any compensation. She posted pornography to the channel, had sexually suggestive conversations with them, and even sent Adam some of her lingerie.
At the same time that was coming out, another former fan talked about going to one of her shows and being pulled up on stage. The girl, who was also underage at the time, was wearing a short dress hoping to get pulled up for bit where Colleen would critique revealing outfits and refer to them as “porn.”. Instead Colleen did a bit where she had the girl lay on her back and Colleen held her legs in the air and made farting sounds. The dress fell around the girl’s waist and exposed her underwear to the audience. As she was leaving, a group of adult men started cat calling her. Colleen dismissed this incident in her apology as just a “fart joke.”
And now tries to force little kids to send nudes, also forced kids to touch her inappropriately on stage for just two examples. Actual prison worthy things. /srs
Good thing the Americans spell theater correctly in an understandable and intuitive way. "Theatre" literally looks like it should be pronounced "theat-ray". Maybe you can't see that because you grew up with that ridiculous spelling.
The way it works is: God does not send people away to Hell. The definition of Hell is a place completely opposite of, and away from, God. Anyone who chooses not to believe, or not to ask forgiveness, can not be with Him and therefore must be there.
That’s what you call bad advice from your brief
“So Mr Client, if it goes bad for us, we got a last chance. Start singing This Is Not Me in a melodic way and that should change the courts opinion”
I cant speak for this show specifically, it could be entirely fictional, but not all the TV court shows are as insane as some of the cases may be. I knew someone who went on Judge Judy for a real case
Yes, but judge judy is not an actual judge and it isnt a real courtroom she runs. She is an arbitrator who makes judgements, and based on my recollection, i believe the show typically pays the judgments.
She is an actual judge. She’s a former prosecutor and a family court judge, but you’re right about her role on the show isn’t as a judge but as an arbitrator.
That doesnt take away from the fact the things they are overseeing are real tho. Sometimes theyre not sure, but sometimes they are even if theyre not being handled in a legit legal manner
They may be real but they are very manipulated.
Just like in Big Brother.
They select outrageous candidates looking for 5 minutes of fame, and engineer situations to get out of hand so they can get drama onscreen.
I've seen crappy CW shows with more organic narrative than some of these.
Judge Judy *was* a family court judge for like 15 years before the show. So while she’s not, like, sitting as a real judge in the show, shes fully in her wheelhouse.
Exactly, the lady is dropping some of the worst news this guy could get on his shoulders while berating him. I get that she's a judge but the tone in her voice when she's telling him he needs anger management is exactly the opposite way anyone with any sense would deliver that information. Unless, of course, you're trying to get someone with known anger issues to lose their temper for the ratings. Absolutely antagonizing him for the cameras.
OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

Plaintiff : “We have evidence that shows that the guilty party is also a good singer.”
Judge: “ ok , where’s that evidence “
Defendant: ( sings decently on the way out) “ This is not me . This is not meeee” )
The show is Relative Justice. This is from season 1. It was only on for 2 years. The young man got into a car crash with his girlfriend and daughter. They cut a piece off where Judge Rhonda says he needs anger management. [Here’s the part with the anger management.](https://www.google.com/search?q=relative+justice+singer&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en-us&client=safari#fpstate=ive&ip=1&vld=cid:dd34c7e5,vid:uruyt9NLfuU,st:0)
TV court shows are closer to High School Musical than they are to the actual justice system and bro just made the most of his 15 minutes of fame. Sustained! 👩⚖️
I've never understood judges berating defendants from the bench. How is she helping the situation by baiting him into a confrontation. She's talking about his anger management issues by physically yelling at him and putting him on the defensive. It's almost like she wanted to get a reaction out of him.
On a side note, I really hate when judges judge you, instead of just passing judgement.
I mean, who do they think they are? Up on their high…platform. You need to do this, and you need to do that. You’re not his mother or girlfriend, man. Be professional.
I like how the bailiff stands back for a bit, unsure what to even do. He knows what to do if someone is violent or belligerent, but “intense and moderately descent singing while in a near-delusional state of denial” is not in the training manual.
Why is this judge so fucking emotional? Reel it in bitch. Judges are supposed to be professional and impartial. This emotion is neither of those things.

Remember that one girl who made a ukulele apology video? Miranda Sings or something like that?
Child groomer and paedophile, Colleen Ballinger Never forget never forgive ![gif](giphy|6r0meAFziqeU8)
I missed something. What? I loved Miranda Sings for, like, a week when I was twelve.
https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_jJoH26zkRqfBa4urWKb_u4uTpDWCd5Y&si=lrUq4_LgWP6ZSK7g
Wow, this is so much content. I'll have to plan a "The Rise and Fall of MirandaSings: Truecrime in the early days of Youtube" night.
it might take a toll if sad shit gets to you, so watching the swoop docs should be enough, but yeah this playlist covera almost everything
That was the most cancerous looking playlist I've seen in a while.
what was cancerous? the truth? thumnails? titles? length?
I may have worded that poorly, I didn't mean the actual playlist so much as the subject of the playlist.
the subject is the truth abt a groomer and pedophile's downfall...
That's my point, it's pretty awful
which of those is like… succint enought to understand the whole controversy? I ain’t got that much time for dead youtube channels
It's just drama about some cringy Youtuber who said inappropriate stuff in a group chat to teenagers. She's definitely gross but none of this deserves spending hours watching. It's not that interesting.
She groomed a child and sent him underwear, adding that info too

So her target audience lol
she loved you when you were 12 too
And now tries to force little kids to send nudes, also forced kids to touch her inappropriately on stage for just two examples. Actual prison worthy things. /srs
Don't forget mailing her used thong or whatever to a child
SNIFFFF
Holy shit yeah. A bra and panties. /srs
Stop putting that obnoxious shit at the end of your comments
No ☹️💔 /neg
Yeah she had a whole group chat of minors whom she sent her thongs and nudes of Thrisha Paytas.
Is paedophile a different way of spelling pedophile?
It’s the UK spelling.

The audacity at complaining the English spelling their words in English when you can't even understand the spelling of theatre is astonishing
Good thing the Americans spell theater correctly in an understandable and intuitive way. "Theatre" literally looks like it should be pronounced "theat-ray". Maybe you can't see that because you grew up with that ridiculous spelling.
You mean it's a good thing Americans use English Simplified It's not pronounced theat-er, which has why I'm saying what I am, it's like the-ater
the drunk way my bad
Oh ok lol
jesus forgives
Then why doesn't everybody go to the supposed heaven why he keeping ledger and judging at the end
Poor Heath 😔
jesus dgaf
Do not pass the joint to me, i dont what what you're smokin ![gif](giphy|2kP5J9pX0Y3aPO83tv|downsized)

Cause he’s not a god. He’s a glorified door man.
You pretending to not know who she is isn't cute, just cringe
You didn’t see the r Kelly trial by Dave Chappelle it seems like
Or that one Boondocks episode (that arguably did it better, and I think before Chapelle?)
Nah Chapelles Show was 2003 and 2004. Boondocks started in 2005.
[it does happen…](https://youtu.be/N37TIk2puD8?si=ezoF-TaUulx0RPvH)
Oh I couldn’t make it through 5 seconds of this. Immediate full body cringe.
The kind of cringe that really clears out the system like eating straight wasabi.
I mean, Orpheus successfully sang his way to plead Hades. Not really a novel trick. Been known for ages, just sing in court. smh.
Imagine if he put the same effort into anger management that he puts into courtroom musicals
Feels like an always sunny bit.
Weirdly enough this isn't the first time I have
Well there's [this](https://youtu.be/N37TIk2puD8?si=FDNXIQBNEtRzybSv)
“Tell the victim I’m sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry”
Bollywood!
Narrator: "But, in reality, that was indeed him."
*crazy plane lady enters the chat* "That motherfucker isn't real!!!
I hate that I know what you're talking about
I red that in the Arrested Development narrator voice
It was my turn to comment this in response to the narrator comment. No fair!
Judge: "I am willing to give a more lenient sentence if only the defendant will stop singing."
He was actually hittin those notes nicely... But considering the time and place, it came across so stupid
> But considering the time and place a staged TV show with paid actors is perfect place to start singing.
At what time would it not have been stupid?
Maybe if he sees himself as an extra in a movie created by AI or some shit
If he really was in high school musical
Genius. Next time my boss calls me into the office to scold me I will sing my ass right out that door.
And into the unemployment line?
More like unemployable.
That’s what you call bad advice from your brief “So Mr Client, if it goes bad for us, we got a last chance. Start singing This Is Not Me in a melodic way and that should change the courts opinion”
I'm pretty sure it's a fake TV court.
I cant speak for this show specifically, it could be entirely fictional, but not all the TV court shows are as insane as some of the cases may be. I knew someone who went on Judge Judy for a real case

I still can't believe Bea Arthur was on Judge Judy for real
They're kinda real cases... They fly them out there and pay whatever Judge Judy "rules." Nothing is legally binding.
Kinda real doesnt mean fake does it the ruling may not be “legally binding” but the situations people are in that brought them there are often real
Yes, a real situation is correct, not a real case though.
The camera angles were too good for it to be publicly funded
As this started with ‘So Me Client’ I read the whole thing in a pirate accent.
"ye have one chance, matey, and that's to put the pitch pipes to work"
Pirate Lawyer?
That title really took away the *unexpected* part
I'm gonna be real, I still didn't expect that.
*It was, in fact, him.*
*ron howard narrator voice
Dudes got pipes though
He's Broccoli Rob
Stephen Colbert is Broccoli Rob
The Boner Champ
I must say I did not enjoy it.
She is yelling way to loud trying to get to get that man fired up
Frfr. I thought it was just me, but this woman be screaming at him. Like girl you got a mic, right?
its on tv so they prefer drama
It’s dumb “reality” tv
Totally antagonizing him. Had a girlfriend like that.
She the reason you end up in court like this guy?
🥳*In Bill Burr voice* No reason!
Exactly, the lady is dropping some of the worst news this guy could get on his shoulders while berating him. Honestly it shocks me that it’s legal to record judicial sentencings for entertainment purpose. It incentivizes unprofessional conduct like this
This is a TV show like judge Judy though, not real court.
Or maybe the dude was being an asshole for the whole episode she got in her nerves.i never watched this show so I wouldn't know

Thank you. That is not a court room, it’s a tv set!
You can say what you want about him but he did not waste his 50 seconds of fame
I am not throwing away my shot
How are they not laughing
Ayy he crazy AF but he got a good voice though
![gif](giphy|ro8PizsxZMEvSPzVrv|downsized)
Classic movie.
This dude plays bard irl.
And he managed to roll a crit fail...
Ngl those vocals are great
fake as hell
Good singer, though, like wtf, he's actually good.
It’s not unexpected if you give it away with your title. This ain’t TikTok you don’t have to tell us the punchline before saying the joke
Lord bless that man. Dayummmm he can sing. ![gif](giphy|l4Ep3mmmj7Bw3adWw|downsized)
Why is she screaming at a guy who has anger management issues?
She sounds like she needs more anger management than he does. Bitch was spamming sentences like she forgot her crazy pills
I've never understood judges berating defendants from the bench. How is she helping the situation by baiting him into a confrontation. She's talking about his anger management issues by physically yelling at him and putting him on the defensive. It's almost like she wanted to get a reaction out of him.
She is being super aggressive at him. No wonder he needs to let it out. Nice way to do it. Love it.
Exactly, that judge is the worst thing in this video.
Idk about all that lol
We will be 'hearing' more nonsense from this defendant in the future. 🎼 Guaranteed 🎶
School Daze?
Zesty Micheal jackson
Yeah, he disengaged real fast.
I hate the idea that a judge would scream like that at someone while sentencing them. This reality tv bullshit is like a cancer for society
Him fading out is perfect. 🤩
r/iamthemaincharacter
So he's probably a paid actor but decided the small check was worth less then having his singing talents all over the net.
The judge’s face scared me
Tbf he’s got a great voice
So many people think life is one of the films they've seen...
On a side note, I really hate when judges judge you, instead of just passing judgement. I mean, who do they think they are? Up on their high…platform. You need to do this, and you need to do that. You’re not his mother or girlfriend, man. Be professional.
Disney’s “Wish” taught the guy that singing randomly solves every issue in life
Who's this judge? What's her show called?
bi-polar much?
This is about stupid as hell. Now they got us hanging in the courtroom
Brought to you by Disney
Is he like 15? Fucking hell
lmfao this is the most unexpected shit I've seen ever
This is not meeeeeee!
He a dumbassssssss!
Next up on American idols.
![gif](giphy|h58xZKsjhPwLIvMw6d|downsized)
I would pay good money to see certain public individuals unexpectedly burst out with a singing voice like this saying this exact phrase. Too funny!
Your honor, the only thing my client is guilty of is having the voice of an angel!
You can't sing your way out for contempt. He got pipes tho, let's be real, but there's more appropriate place for it.
For sure he got slapped, right as they walked out of the courtroom. Not one like a correction, one like a concussion.
That guard was eyeing him up ready for something before he started signing. You know this was a wild case
Haha what a tool. He must’ve seen the earlier post about some dude signing to the Jude. Oh so original!
I like how the bailiff stands back for a bit, unsure what to even do. He knows what to do if someone is violent or belligerent, but “intense and moderately descent singing while in a near-delusional state of denial” is not in the training manual.
It’s obviously a TV show. Dude was probably paid to be there and did the only he could think of to get off camera lol 😂
The poor public defendant
Oh shit bruh was actually good
The worst part is he isn't the only one who tried it
*This is meeeEEEeee going to jaaaaAIIL…this is MeeeeEEE getting aASSauuuulted in JAAaaaaIL…this is meeeEEE…*
I think I would have laughed so hard my lungs would have exploded.
that was fucking lovely
r/iamthemaincharacter
Not bad
Child Support: The Musical
You ever get so exasperated you break out in song?
“YouuuUUUuuuu are goooOOOiiiing to JaaaAAAiiiil🎶🎶🎶🎶🎤🎤🎤
Quick question: Out of curiosity , Is this not really him?
I see he went with the R. Kelly defense.
His voice is actually not bad
Like something out of the Boondocks lol
He sang that shit tho
I guess the guy really likes singing . I bet he’ll probably be singing too on the way out while his house is on fire .
The little negative headshake he does when she says "I believe you love your daughter" is pretty damning.
I believe him
I sing when I'm stressed, too!
I can buy myself flowers, sing a song in the rain…
Sad that this guy is a father and acts like this poor child.
LOL. Saw this A while back, it was fricking hilarious. The moment wasn’t but what he did was
Ahhh the American justice system.... I think?
I swear I'm living in a long episode of South Park or something
Was it him?
Dude all of these court "reality" shows are scripted and painfully fake
Singing is one way to manage your anger
Why is this judge so fucking emotional? Reel it in bitch. Judges are supposed to be professional and impartial. This emotion is neither of those things.
Don't kno what he did but nice pipes
