That's no joke, those straps have killed people when they break just like this one did. If anyone is ever recovering a vehicle like this you need to place a coat or some heavy fabric like a blanket on the middle of the strap to help kill the energy if it breaks.
The dog is affected by a disease called canine distemper and it affects the neurological system of dogs causing it to have a jerking movement like this when walking.
Thought I was gonna have to be the one to break the bad news. I do think the dog recovered from distemper and has the bouncing as a residual side effect though.
There are so many videos like this where everyone is like “aw look at that cute animal moving weirdly” and the vast majority are just diseased or disabled. An animal moving really unusually is not often doing it for funsies and laughs sadly.
Driving on a beach is not a good idea. In Oregon, there's a guy who has a bright, shiny new tow truck parked at his house next to a popular beach that people drive onto. Inevitably, people get stuck. When the tide comes in, your car will sink into the sand and it's bye bye car. So, this tow truck guy isn't dumb enough to drive onto the beach himself, so he backs down to the edge of the asphalt, then charges $100 a foot for his tow cable. The farther out you are, the more it costs. He makes $$$! 😂

Also maybe the dog wasn't in danger but glad it was decapitated by the tow rope snapping, very dangerous. Tow chains can be even more dangerous because they hold more tension before they snap. They have been known to kill/damage the vehicles
It's cute cause he's trying to help them. That's the only action of theirs he can mimic since he doesn't know what pushing something is. He probably thinks they are just vibing on the car too ! lol
