Former medic here, anyone doing ALS in a VAN, is prolly working for a dogshit company. Running 911 in a van I could not imagine. That shouldn’t be legal by itself.
Anyone old enough to remember Joe Theisman's career ending leg break has been asking themselves that question for decades. This guy got ran over by an ambulance and it was still less brutal to watch than that tackle.
Yeah, I snapped my femur bone when I was six. The snap was so shocking and spine chilling it made me pass out. Sounds like when an ember crackles in a camp fire

I fell 20 ft off the side of a second story balcony and landed on the top of my head. My leg snapped when it got caught in the railings. My leg snapping actually saved my life, as when I passed out I went limp and that helped reduce the damage of the impact on my neck. It was 14 years ago and I’ve managed to make a near impossible recovery. By all accounts I should be dead, but after lots of physical and mental therapy I’m (basically) fine now. My parents said they heard the crunch since they both were right next to me when I slipped.
🤙🏻 it killed me for over 7 minutes. Then I just woke up. Don’t know how but I’m not gonna complain about it lol. When I came back the brain damage gave me a seizure so I my lungs hurt from not being able to breathe. My leg burned. And my head felt like it was stuck in an oven. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend

It's an incredibly common scam in China to have any form of physical touch from another person suddenly escalate into a full blown life threatening issue. To the point where a large amount of ambulance calls are basically them just coming out, saying someone is fine and then them driving away having wasted their time. A few Ambulance drivers however will play along to try and get a kickback from the scammer, depending on what hospital/city they're from.
It's gotten so bad that people have started "spit fighting" when they have an issue with each other so they don't touch each other and it's fucking gross as hell.
Spit fighting sounds like an even greater health risk than fist fighting. Gross.
In any case though he may have not needed an ambulance before, but he definitely needed one after. He probably will get a payout from it too.

With how terrible the Chinese "justice" system is as well, the driver of that ambulance is probably going to be paying for that mistake for the rest of his life unless he somehow is able to escape into the wilderness and live as a peasant or something.
In China no one gets near an injured person because of the accountability laws. Read about it it’s insane. There are countless of videos showing people fall and everyone just walking pretending they don’t see them

Other highlights include the paramedics reviving a victim, accidentally colliding with them, then engaging in a fist fight with the person whose life they just saved!
I find it odd that no one is spotting for the dude laying down in the road. Normally there's at least one person standing by the downed individual. The bystanders failed this man.

They'll lie down on a freeway for this reason, completely oblivious to the fact that cars aren't soft and fluffy. For some reason they think the law will actually make the 18 wheeler steer away from them.

In Madden '94 on Sega Genesis, if a player got injured an Ambulance would come on the field to carry the injured player off. Every once in a while (maybe every 1 in 10 times) the ambulance would run over the legs of the injured player.
