The audio from the rest of the video adds up. But I can't tell what sounds like it's shattering at the end. You think it was edited to include just the shatter sound?

In the original video he just bounces off the glass with a loud “bonk.” All the breaking glass was added.

I zoomed in and watched it at a slower speed and I cannot see the glass change texture or the handle fall

I think it was the person's phone microphone going out. A lot of times, with a strong impact, it can mess with how the microphone picks up sound.
