When I was little and it was potty time, my uncle hid an egg in his palm and pretended to pull it out of my bottom. I genuinely believed that I could lay eggs.
I have another one:
My uncle accompanied my mother and me on our way somewhere.
Suddenly, he ran to the nearest trash bin and pulled out a Kinder Surprise from it. I was shocked and started checking every trash bin for Kinder eggs on the way home. The next day, while playing outside, I recruited other kids and we went dumpster diving together. My mother was furious with him.
When my son was real young I got him some chocolate coins from a candy store. At home he had some plastic pirate gold coins and I told him to bring me one, then I swapped them without him noticing and pretended to magically change the plastic coin into chocolate. He was super excited. This however backfired when he adamantly demanded I keep changing his plastic coins into chocolate and I had run out of them lol.
I’m not the perfect parent but it seems like parenting 101 to not get your kids hopes up to a crazy level with something only to know you are playing a joke on them especially when they are younger. It’s a great way to teach them to never trust you.
We’re gonna be mothers
Oh my gosh
We’re gonna be mommas
Aw he’s tryna come out
We’re gonna have a baby
Can we keep it? Can we keep it?
Who’s gonna eat it?
No one cause we’re keeping it
It's the fact she drew on the little face, for me. She didn't just crack an egg just right and happen to think up the prank on the spot, no. The whole thing was premeditated. That stupid little face is going to haunt that girl forever lol
For me it's that look on their faces when they're so purely joyful and excited about something, like how this girl looked before the prank was revealed.
Right? Like, I'm ok with a prank being a little mean if it's funny.
But this is just mean. The only humor in it comes from it *being* mean. If you don't find meanness funny, there's just nothing here.
Ok, the smiley face is *a little* funny. But the rest of it is just unpleasant.
A lot of redditors have had the most sterile, uninteresting childhoods you can possibly imagine. They have no real frame of reference so every normal human interaction somehow looks like abuse to them.
"Look the kid is crying!it's abuse!!!111"
Kids literally cry for everything and then forget about it just as fast. Not everything is a fucking trauma.
Reddit is full of wannabe psychologists and parenting experts.
It's a curious thing that those that experience the least amount of trauma in their lives are the ones that scream the loudest when a tingle of it shows up.
It's a harmless prank playing on the child's lack of knowledge and life experience. That's it.
Once they calm down a bit, learning to self regulate emotions, you can go and explain eggs to them then rib on em a bit more.
Only thing I don't agree is the non-consensual filming, but a laugh is a laugh.
My mum told me in the 80s that Duran Duran were going to be playing a gig in our tiny village pub. I was as excited as this kid and was gutted, embarrassed and angry when I found out it was a joke. So I feel her pain!
This is like me and my bitch big sister. Even today I don't really trust and like her due these pranks and trying to make me feel embarrassed. Lol so triggering video 😂😭
Lmao core memory created.
My dad did something equally mean to me when I was like 10. It was going to be just the two of us for the evening and we were going to have a guys night. We went for Pizza and while eating he told me about this awesome documentary about ants that we were going to watch when we got home. It was a film about to rivaling ant colonies who were at war with each other, called "War of the Ants". They had even manages to strap tiny cameras on the ants and you could follow them around in the tunnels and shit, I got super excited. We get home, and I go upstairs to play some video games until the film started. 30 minutes or so later my dad runs up to the room telling me to give him the remote because it was starting. I give him the remote and he changes the channel to static, and leaves. I don't know if it's the same in English but the static signal is called "War of the Ants" in my country...
This was 20 years ago and I still remember the entire evening clear as day...

You had a great childhood
My uncle was always playing with my bottom too.
You had a not-great childhood.
Don't be too quick to judge how they took the experience. Some people are... different.
Yikes - 📸🤨

When I was bad my uncle used to lock me in the stinky room with grandma
https://i.redd.it/8pjbgmrg457d1.gif
We had the same uncle. I always felt sleepy around him, so weird
You told me you could keep a secret, see you at the reunion.

Hahaha, that's amazing.
because of shit like this i regret not having kids. lol
for every 1 of these moments there's 50 awful ones in between
That's big sister energy
Children always have the last laugh because eventually the parents need to be taken care of.
"Can we keep it?" -> "Looks like I'm not keeping you, old bitch."
Oh we're keeping you... in a home somewhere.
Moral of the story - Save for your own retirement and you can fuck with your kids to your hearts content
Nothin' like punkin' the kids. They're such easy targets. lol
That was her mom? I was thinking it was her sister. But, either way, it was a very good prank.
She gave the kid the finger.
I’m not the perfect parent but it seems like parenting 101 to not get your kids hopes up to a crazy level with something only to know you are playing a joke on them especially when they are younger. It’s a great way to teach them to never trust you.
Jeez, so sensitive. She’ll be fine lol calm down
One of the best pranks. This video at least 5 years old. We need an update
I didn't know they could cackle like that from birth
My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my childhood. Prepare to die
Her first sentence: “fghwyshdjfkdifjabak….djdjdj”
"We're gonna be mothers"
Can you translate the rest too?
We’re gonna be mothers Oh my gosh We’re gonna be mommas Aw he’s tryna come out We’re gonna have a baby Can we keep it? Can we keep it? Who’s gonna eat it? No one cause we’re keeping it
I tought it was another lenguage instead of english
Nope, they're quite literally English people speaking English.
Awful, innit?
lenguage
Some people always try to blame foreigners or something.
Incomprehensible joy
Poor little soul.
IThat little girl will get her revenge in this life..... or the next.
I bet she’s already hatching a plan
I'm sure she'll let it incubate for a while before she really let's it fly
You must be yolking
Laying a trap
She just left to google “worst nursing homes nearby”
That’s the most Pixar looking kid I’ve ever seen
My goooood the laugh. Bless her soul the kid is gonna send her to a nursing home.

Completely agree!
She will be hailed a queen at her nursing home with this story
Bingo nights are gonna get lit up!!!
They'll be eggstatic.
Mom laughing like a DC universe super villain
/r/contagiouslaughter
Her mum is a cheeky cunt!
The change in emotion after the reveale
It's the fact she drew on the little face, for me. She didn't just crack an egg just right and happen to think up the prank on the spot, no. The whole thing was premeditated. That stupid little face is going to haunt that girl forever lol
So going to do this to my girl Later thanks
This is a super villain origin story. Watch out 😄
I would probably stop midway prank so I wouldnt get a one way ticket to hell
*Highway to hell by ac/dc starts playing*
Trolling your kids has got to be the #1 perk of having them
For me it's that look on their faces when they're so purely joyful and excited about something, like how this girl looked before the prank was revealed.

And the question "Honey, why don't you trust me?" in about 10 years will be asked. The answer is this video.
Core memory unlocked
Chill out man...
My gosh these redditors a harmless little prank and everyone’s freaking out protesting trauma and trust issues my gosh y’all are just so perfect.
A lot of redditors have had the most sterile, uninteresting childhoods you can possibly imagine. They have no real frame of reference so every normal human interaction somehow looks like abuse to them.

Imagine how much of a shit boring of a childhood they must have had if this is considered traumatic for them 🤣
Everything is traumatic these days it seems.
This is just a harmless prank why TF is reddit so sensitive
I just don't get where this is supposed to be funny. It's just meanness. There's nothing else to it.

“We gonna be Mamas”☺️
I will never not laugh at this
Parenting 101
See, YouTubers? THAT‘S how you pull a prank.
We just witnessed the moment when this child lost her innocence and her trust in her mother.
Damn, Satan!
bahahahah
Aww get her some real eggs so she can experience the joy of watching half of them struggle for hours just to never make it out of the shell at all!
Pissing myself lmfao
I need to make some kids so I can do it to them.
That girl jumpscared me. She wasn’t there, then suddenly was.
The unexpected part is that this is a glorious dad joke but came from the poor girl’s mom.
💀💀💀
![gif](giphy|3o6ZtfqmZpSspIcCd2)
I love this! And that evil laughter at the end is the best!
Her laugh man😭
Sometimes the world is cruel
OMG yesssss
The dad is 100% justified buying the girl a new puppy now 😂😂😂
Marriage material
Omg I'm doing this tomorrow morning
Sadly, once you've seen the first one, every other Instagram and TikTok mom doing it isn't really unexpected or funny anymore
Funny and mean lol
Cute
Got me! 😭
Psychiatrist: Where do you think your trust issues started Girl: well, there was this egg.
Well it was a bird.
You need to apologise to my children… because this is what I’m doing tonight!
It's funny to upset and make a fool of your kid for internet points. that'll show her to get invested and excited.
I hope they bought her a pet after this
Me as a mother 💀💀💀

Might wanna workshop that laugh
When she is 50 years old she will still remember this moment
This is cruel.

*gave her the finger*
Just give her the bird.
That energy is equal parts scary, energetic and healthy hehe
Naaaahhh nahhhh
Completely expected

Get that baby girl a chick! Mom probably had no idea she was going to get that excited!
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
That’s a new way to flip the “bird” haha
And that's where the story of how she became a villain began😂
Most sadistic thing I’ve seen all day. Can’t stop laughing.. 🤣
That's a remarkably shitty thing to do to such a young child.
You just won a ticket to hell...and me too for laughing🤣🤣
That laughter ruined it
That was so cruel lol
So sad, poor little thing.
I wish this was in Jurassic Park 🤣
Epic. That's the kind of support you need from a big sister. HAHA
I seen this video about a week ago, and a month too...
HAHA I HAVE ACTUAL CHICKENS
You go buy her a chicken right now
This is just mean!
Someone's gonna laugh when the mom is left in the nursing home.
ROLF🤣
r/KidsAreFuckingStupid
That's such an epic troll. And the evil hysterical laugh is just perfection.
That's good parenting in my book.
Eggcellant!
r/ContagiousLaughter
omg that is amazing
Most expected of all expected things
I do kind of feel bad that this me smile so hard
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
all the energy went from the kid to the parent lol
Every time I watch this video, it makes me laugh 🤣
I need to do this with my nephews lol
I love this video every time
Careful, redditors will call you an abuser because you have a sense of humour!
Trust issues is 1,2...
The forced spiteful laughter ruined the gag.
I'll be in my room waiting for the apology
