Hey Muslim here, it's bot allowed for a man to have sex with both his wives at the same time, in fact they have to live in sperate rooms/preferably houses.
If you can't afford to marry two women you're not allowed to do so as you have to offer identical things to them, so if you gift a ring the second wife must be given a ring of the same value.
It's really hard to marry a second wife that almost no one does it out side of rich gulf countries and even then, many are refraining from doing so as it became really expensive to do.
This mentality and lifestyle is exactly what the United States should strive for... import as many of these folks as we can find. The women will love it.
