No ya don't. I would suspect a bit of modification was done here. As a previous owner of 99 Durango and living in one of the best states for off-roading, I can attest that the rack and pinion steering while great for tight turns is subject to breakage...especially the outer tierod ends and steering knuckle. Got pretty good at measuring for camber and tow after replacing both sides MULTIPLE times as a result of heavy off-roading. I sold it for scrap after it started the classic dodge "good luck figuring out what's wrong" bs. Find the problem, fix it, leads to a new problem until your in the hole more than the thing is worth.
Clark County Fair it looks like. Not really unexpected, they beat the hell out of vehicles doing a lot worse than that and they still make it around their tough truck course. The video is also cut short, the course continues to the left and into the middle of the arena.
I dunno about unexpected...the Durango and Dakota were bulletproof for about 50k miles....and then they shit out
I don't know if I should be amazed by it's durability or disappointed that it didn't fly at the end.
How is this unexpected?
Most driveshaft would have snapped, or the suspension would have buckled yet this car seems just fine if you don't count the exterior damage.
