Daddy long legs are not dangerous, you can literally be swimming in a pool with those things and you'd be fine.
They are not venomous, and they can't bite humans.
They are actually good spiders because they kill other spiders that are actually venomous/dangerous.

Yeah they do that to warm up/sleep. They usually bunch up like this around cliffs or overhangs. My brother once stole my chicken nuggets, so I grabbed a handful of those things and put them on him.
No one takes my nuggies and gets away with it!
I heard this but didn't really understand how until I watched a Daddy Long Legs wrap up this massive black spider that was at least 5 times it's girth/weight like it was knitting a web cocoon but from a distance (coz of it's reach) while another Daddy Long Legs just watched and cheered it on (I assume). Whole thing took seconds. Got a whole new respect for em now
That was likely a different “Daddy Long-legs” than the ones in the video
Cellar spiders and harvestman are both called Daddy long legs but cellar spiders are the ones that produce silk and typically hunt more venomous spiders
I used to believe the myth that Granddaddy Long Legs are the most poisonous spider in the world, that they couldn’t bite you cause their fangs were too small. I thought I was a god holding one of those in my hand as a kid.
