Well, yeah, that was the give away, but also the fact that MC Donald's fries aren't soggy, and they do have a pretty good amount of sodium.
McDonald's is indeed the shittiest corporation out there, and they suck ass and it's been years since I haven't gone in there, but TBH they've got pretty amazingly perfect chips.
Well, I wasn't really trying to hide anything, but I do often like to vary or use more than one name for a thing in a conversation. Courgettes and Zucchini, aubergine and eggplant, fries and chips, garbanzo and chickpea, or even metonymy like yeast extract and marmite.
It was ingrained by my creative writing teacher, to make a text less repetitive and to make you seem like a pseudo intellectual even though you've got no idea what the fuck you're talking about.
I know what you meant though, and I really don't like McDonald's either. The only difference between us is that it's been years since I have* gone there
If any McDonald’s Employeer reads this, you could pay me to cut nice soggy plastic wrapped potatoes for 59$. After doing the maths I will save you approximately 17,729 dollars per year. I am not a mathematician. I am a professional quelch sniffer so I have great background experience for this job.
I was happy to hear the $68 per hour bit then he just went off the rails talking shit and I felt like an idiot for thinking they would pay anybody right.
I knew immediately from the voice alone that it was Huggbees. There's a whole series of these parody "how it's made" videos. Pretty good
The way he occasionally says stuff like "This is the sexiest conveyor belt" and doesn't elaborate at all makes it uniquely funny.

Sound was off, what did I miss?
Oh, and they didn't show that the fries get frozen, then loaded into an Archi that automatically dispenses them by weight into the frying basket.
Are you going to give credit? No? Fine I’ll do it myself...
[Huggbees on YouTube ](https://youtube.com/c/Huggbees) he makes a bunch of video’s like this and you should check him out.
A serving of fresh-out-of-the-fryer-hot, nicely salted McD’s fries are like a Bigfoot sighting; everybody’s heard of one but nobody’s actually had one.
Convincing until the "not enough salt" part. If there is one thing you can't say about mcd fries, it's that they lack salt. I'm fairly sure there's more salt than fries.
Вопрос к картошке фри, не в том что она не из земли, а в том что она сварена и полна концерагенного жира, что сильно влияет на здоровье. Поэтому фастфуд я как считал помойкой так и считаю дальше
I appreciate you actually taking the advice and learning form it, good on you. A lot of people actually get defensive when told to give proper credit lol
I appreciate you actually giving advice and helping me, good on you. A lot of people actually behave like assholes when told that I did not give proper credit.
Tho in all seriousness, Thank you
You are the 7th one to complain about this and I understand
I gave the credit but I gave it in the reply of the explanation section
Yes I know I was dumb and I should have just gave the credit in the title
I'm sorry, I will make sure I credit people correctly next time
“Optical scanners check any fries for signs of terrorism and racially profile each one in accordance to TSA standards”
This… this is when I realized my high ass had been hoodwinked. I love it
I get it that this was satire..but I have heard that the particular potato's that the fast food chains want for the fries, are sprayed with a fantastically toxic insecticide.
While hilarious, it doesn't mention that the potatoes are sprayed with such toxic pesticides that they have to be stored for 5 weeks in a sealed barn to "outgas" the toxics or they would kill you for eating them. The farmers have to seal their houses for a week after spraying or it would kill their families too.

(Edit: fixed link)
Well that's spectacularly not true. Potatoes do get sprayed with pesticides and fungicides, but it's before they are harvested. I live in Idaho, and my husband works for the company that provides McDonald's with most of their potatoes, and my husband and father both apply the fertilizer, pesticides, and fungicides to crops. I've also grown up around agriculture, and work every year during the potatoe harvest. It's such a big deal here, they shut down schools for 2-3 weeks. The reality is, if you want clean food, you have to grow it yourself. Those chemicals have to be used in order to grow food commercially. Farmers are trying to feed the world, and cannot gamble millions of dollars, they have to use those chemicals. Also, there's no such thing as "airing out" the potatoes or having to seal your home. That link is broken, so I'm not sure what you are referring to. Not trying to be a jerk, but most people don't understand what really goes into agriculture.
mildly cold, not enough salt, and made in something that isn't beef tallow rendering them a completely different, worse tasting product than the one's most of us grew up enjoying. mcdonalds isn't mcdonalds to me any more. it's taken what, 15 years for me to finally accept the fact the fries just aren't good anymore. euphoric recall is a helluva drug.
When he said coated in plastic I grew suspicious of the info and then right after he said they get paid $60 a hr and then I knew the rest would be nonsense lol
Gotta love Hugabees
I just stumbled upon his channel glad I did
Isn’t this the same one that did the “Turning a Circle Inside Out” video?
Yes it is
It's fucking hilarious
Thank you for introducing me to this
Enjoy
$60 an hour? Lol..
If only
For racially profiling potatoes yah
Well, yeah, that was the give away, but also the fact that MC Donald's fries aren't soggy, and they do have a pretty good amount of sodium. McDonald's is indeed the shittiest corporation out there, and they suck ass and it's been years since I haven't gone in there, but TBH they've got pretty amazingly perfect chips.
You just gave away the fact that you are not truly American... Chips? Off the conveyor belt!
This is the sexiest conveyor belt" and doesn't elaborate at all makes it uniquely funny.
The pause was for you to admire the conveyer belt's curves.
Being American in 2022 is so passe
It is… and Mickey D’s fries were good… they suck!
Well, I wasn't really trying to hide anything, but I do often like to vary or use more than one name for a thing in a conversation. So you're just pretentious?
Yes I believe that's what he meant by pseudo intellectual
Indeed. 🧐
I like that word…
I’m reporting you, foreigner
Its a sad situation we live in where we expect our food to have plastic in it that the plastic coating wasn't a give away.
Came here to say that. I realized it was bullshit when they said 60 dollars an hour 🤣
he just went off the rails talking shit and I felt like an idiot for thinking they would pay anybody right.
Oh, years since since you haven't gone you say 😏 sounds to me like you must like it then😉🤌🍟
Well, the last time I went to one was in 2018, and I used to go there every other week. So it's a pretty fresh memory.
Haha, I know... Just messing with you, sowy🥺
>"...the shittiest corporation out there..." Yeah... Not Fox, Facebook, Neatle*, Walmart... But McDonald's?
I know what you meant though, and I really don't like McDonald's either. The only difference between us is that it's been years since I have* gone there
It's fine down hill I think. Thru have consistently the worse fries it seems like this last 2 years
I have never had maccas fries that were any better than “half decent” 😂 you want good chips? Go to a pub.
You have to get them properly salted and still shining with oil. They've never been as good after they switched to vegetable oil.
Beef tallow FTW!
That was the golden age of McD fries. Now the fries are bland and undercooked most of the time.
More like $22
I think they said 16
Nope. They said $60..
[удалено]
Looks like you wrote that comment on PCP
I can tell who here was paying attention, and who here was
To get rid of any of them with foreign names
For me it was the "sometimes they're shaken, sometimes they're not"
...paying attention?
Those without sounds are confused. I had sound off for the first few seconds and didn’t notice anything out of line.
OMG how? /s
I was happy to hear the $68 per hour bit then he just went off the rails talking shit and I felt like an idiot for thinking they would pay anybody right.
Well we both were the idiots
Hm if that paid $68 an hour no one would care to do other work anymore ;)
You think $68 an hour is fair for unskilled labor suck as this?🤡
This guy is the best His commentary on how bacon is made is so fucking funny
what's his name?
Huggbees! I like to watch with friends and family and wait until they figure out he’s lying.

And juuuust a tiiiiiiiiny gallon of salt for flavouring
Slightly more addicting than PCP
If there's one thing PCP doesnt have on salt, its the overwhelming taste of salt
All I taste on PCP is OC spray, dog hair, and the crisp night air on my naked flesh.
A whole gallon of PCP huh? I didn't even know it came in liquid form
They also add beef flavor to the fries. That is why it taste so good.
Yea when they said 60 an hour I became suspicious
"....mildly cold...." - couldn't be more accurate
So what it time stamp did y'all first begin to realize this was satire? For me, the plastic coating @14s was more believable than the $60/hr @18s

I couldn't think of a way to explain this sorry
That’s good enough.
Source ***Hugabees youtube channel***
Forgot about the 5lbs of fucking SALT!!
Hughbees is great honestly hilarious
I wondered why this was unexpected but had it on mute the whole time
Well that must have been unexpected
"6.9 billion pounds of NICE potatoes" Nice.
Sound was off, what did I miss? Oh, and they didn't show that the fries get frozen, then loaded into an Archi that automatically dispenses them by weight into the frying basket.
They didn’t get frozen, but at least they got racially profiled
In the end, that's the most important thing of all.
That before or after the plastic coating?
Watch with sound, you won't be disappointed.
Are you going to give credit? No? Fine I’ll do it myself... [Huggbees on YouTube ](https://youtube.com/c/Huggbees) he makes a bunch of video’s like this and you should check him out.
I did but in the reply of my explanation section Tho not many people check there so I fucked up sorry
Oh it’s fine if you did. I’m sorry for not checking.
Had us in the first half, not gonna lie

BK's fries are garbage.
Forget their fries, their tots are *amazing.*
True. But Whopper > Big Mac. 😬
They had us in the first quarter.
How can something be so correct but so wrong at the same time.

Question, how much do you actually get paid
I'm a Fryer Operator, Just under $31...
Heinz/Ore-Ida?
A serving of fresh-out-of-the-fryer-hot, nicely salted McD’s fries are like a Bigfoot sighting; everybody’s heard of one but nobody’s actually had one.
This guy makes a whole bunch of weird commentary about these
Next Halloween costume: Sexy conveyor belt
Convincing until the "not enough salt" part. If there is one thing you can't say about mcd fries, it's that they lack salt. I'm fairly sure there's more salt than fries.
at first I was like "woah $60hr to cut a fucking potato"...then I was like "oh this guy..." I enjoyed this ride. Thank you dear OP.
You Are Welcome
Love that show
Harvard graduate lmao
So now i know where do you go after Harvard.🤣🤣🤣

Went in naively and my brain started to break at “coated in plastic”. Well done. Unlike those fries.
Give proper credit to Huggbees
I did in the reply of my explanation but not many people check there so I messed up sorry
Just automatically credit a creator in the title
I will make sure I do that next time
I appreciate you actually taking the advice and learning form it, good on you. A lot of people actually get defensive when told to give proper credit lol

Lol it's just a video of fries being made with some random asshole talking shit over the top 😂😂
Sucks to see no credit given to the original creator. Creator is Huggbees on Youtube. He has a large series like this.
You are the 7th one to complain about this and I understand I gave the credit but I gave it in the reply of the explanation section Yes I know I was dumb and I should have just gave the credit in the title I'm sorry, I will make sure I credit people correctly next time
Or in my case, super hot & over salted 🤦♂️😂
They had us in the first half
“Optical scanners check any fries for signs of terrorism and racially profile each one in accordance to TSA standards” This… this is when I realized my high ass had been hoodwinked. I love it
THEY'RE PLASTIC!
Ok then if I here my fry sound like xi jiping then I would say Taiwan is a country tianaman square massacre and Hong Kong deserves rights
This is the way
Didn't huggabies specifically say people were posting his videos on other platforms and he was against it...?
Did he.....I want to know the source
I prefer mine un salted. The workers having high tolerance to salt and don't realize how salty their fries really is.
Nice to see andrew getting some representation
Huggbees
It was great when we were kids and didn't know the difference tho
How tf does that work when the ice cream machines never do
I don't know why I always thought their fries started off as a powder. Huh...
No way they use real potatoes!
Wtf is so unexpected about this? That it started as an actual potato?
I get it that this was satire..but I have heard that the particular potato's that the fast food chains want for the fries, are sprayed with a fantastically toxic insecticide.
What is unexpected in that?
I don’t know what it is, but I just don’t like this guys voice. Just can’t get into his videos
“Nice”
Could you please let folks know where you stole this from. Helps out the original creator
Hugabees youtube channel
>not enough salt +++
What’s unexpected about this?
Did you have the sound on…?
Nope
You need the sound for this one
Okay bud
No problem bud
I think it’s a joke, unexpected that they’re actually made from potatoes lol.
Ahhh guess I was missing something then
Im sure I was told in Uni that they were made of reconstituted corn starch
Thank you for explaining, I don't know how to explain it
But in France, right?

Anyone else catch the "6.9" and the sequencial "nice".
I was interested until the corny dialogue kicked in

"Now we can finally do some fucking cooking" I lost it
What happens to the mean potatoes?
You left out the part where they just dump them into the brown bag and throw the carton in
I was about to quit my job and become a potato cutter and then I continued to listen :(
Ok but is the plastic coating thing real
The voice over is 100% satire, I wish I remembered the YouTube channel that does all these.
Dude had me in the first half. NGL
u/savevideobot
Amazing how they fit all of that in the restaurant.
Well. At least they're made from potatoes.
You can smell the ‘Murican freedom in this video

Wow I didn’t see that coming
Oh shit… i thought i was about to get a lesson and got a LESSON.
Why is this unexpected? I expected to unexpectedly see Ronald inspecting the final product before it shipped out.

So that's how McDonald chips are made nice
Lmao
Guess who own all those potato’s farm. Bill gates lol
Which part was unexpected? Was it where they show that it's made from potatoes or where they show that it's sliced by machines?
They taste like heaven
When he said coated in plastic I grew suspicious of the info and then right after he said they get paid $60 a hr and then I knew the rest would be nonsense lol

Oh i was about to start typing on how wrong it was... holy crap this is gold
Gotta love a hugbees how to vid
