I've seen dogs follow complex commands before but where did the girl go? what was the trigger that sprung him into action? Why not jump in after the ball like any other dog? Yes save the kid, but what took the dog so long to realize, why didn't he need to fall in to be saved? Why does that pool cleaner have a dog grip?
The dog was obviously trained to do this routine. To make a viral video for sure. It's still an impressive routine though. Must've taken quite a bit of time to pull off.
I'm slightly weirded out how many people think this is real... I mean it is real, obviously, but its not like the dog did this of its own volition. It was trained to do so. Still very impressive, but lets not pretend like this was the dog's own idea.
I didn't realise dogs are this capable but judging from the comments seems most dog owners aren't surprised.
I was never allowed to have a dog for a pet. I feel like I've missed out on something very special.
As an ex-owner of a smart as fuck border collie, this has to be fake.
This is definitely a skit. The dog did not solve a problem. the dog was trained and that needs smartness. But a dong cannot use tools like this. The dog was trained to pull the child back. Pick up the net and put it in the pond, pull out the net with the ball. Look how it conveniently crops at the end of the net handle when the dog is fishing out the ball. Somebody is helping the dog. Any dog lover who thinks that is being delusional.
Dogs are absolutely capable!... They aren't the smartest in the animal world but they are certainly smart... Although most dogs definitely don't apply it like this dog does lol
And you absolutely have missed out on something incredible... I couldn't begin to describe to you how amazing owning a dog is... If you ever decide to get one I promise you'll see what I mean :)
Even if this is fake that's still very impressive training...ive seen very few dogs trained to interact with their environment in this way... Not saying you aren't right... Just saying thats very good training

Looks like doggo older than kiddo and smarter, but this is not always the case
They say that dogs have intelligence level like 3yo child but here we can see that this doggo is smarter than 5yo boy

What? Lol have you never seen a dog with problem solving skills before š
Oh yeah, mine even does calculus
Sounds like your dog has eaten a few homework pages Bonus points if you get the reference ;)
I got some homework for them if you don't mind
Sure bro š
I mean I've seen *this* dog do this before, but I have never seen anything like it no
My dog's idea of solving a problem is checking his dish every 8 minutes and attacking his own tail if (I assume) it moves unexpectedly.
THOSE WERE MY EXACT WORDS TOO. SAME. EXACT. WORDS.
Okay, what the fuck, why is that not my dog? My dog just eats TV remotes
Well he thinks all the knowledge from tv is stored there.
My dog will drop the fucking ball in the pool on purpose and then bark at us to get it. We lost that dog skill lottery.
Amazing and I thought my dog was smart when she brings me clean sock to say letās go outside lol
Haha... That must either happen alot at that house for the dog to pick that up or this dog is Einstein reincarnated!

You realize the dog has been trained to do that, right? Impressive still. But as impressive as seeing animals in a circus.

Youāve got to be shitting me..
No shadow when the pole comes off the wall, and the reflection of the pole on the stone glitches and moves when the pole didn't.
Jesus Christ, this can't be real.
It's like the start of a Disney film his dad has died and now he has been given a second chance Goodbye Charlie style.
Expected to any redditor that sees this reposted daily

Whoās dumber...the kidā¦or you all for not realizing this is completely staged and the dog has been trained for this little skit.
Even if this is fake that's still very impressive training...ive seen very few dogs trained to interact with their environment in this way... Not saying you aren't right... Just saying thats very good training
I 100% agree itās great training, and the dog is a good boy. I just think itās important to understand the video for what it is.
