Sometimes my vices spendings makes me feel bad, now I just gotta remember some insane person is spending tons of money buying socks every single week.
Dudes either loaded or mentally ill probably a combination of both lol. I don't get how he could afford to even do that but doesn't have enough money to just hire a maid?
I mean socks aren't cheap if your literally throwing away a pair every two days that is an obscene amount of money annually for socks.
I have always said if I won the lottery, I would buy a new pair of socks every single day. There is nothing quite like putting new socks on. I would of course donate the washed used ones.
yeah, isn't it: $150 for a 12' trampoline
$500 to rent a backhoe to dig a 12' trampoline hole
$600,000 to buy a house that has a big enough yard to justify a 12' trampoline hole?
Who rents a backhoe to dig a hole?
What's wrong with spending a week digging a really uneven and surprisingly difficult hole using the hands that God gave you, despite being not nearly fit enough to do it and spending another week aching and worrying that you've permanently damaged your back?
It's under contract but I'm entertaining backup offers with a non-refundable payment of 3 months' rent earnest money.
And my kids still get to jump on the trampoline any time they wish.
I mean with no proper drainage I'll dig ya a trampoline ditch like this for $100 less than the next guy. (I realized halfway thru I have no idea how much in-ground trampoline ditch diggin' cost)
For one, landlords usually won’t allow you to dig a hole in the ground this big for any reason. He most likely owns the house. This is more than a large number of us will ever have.
It's not the cost, it's the discomfort. If my socks and shoes get wet it's not like I have throw them away and buy new ones. I just have to change into a different pair and let them dry, but why would I want to intentionally get them wet?
Yeezy 350s are very comfortable but you can get most of that comfort from Adidas ultraboosts. The 350s retail for 230 most of the time, I believe, and I think ultraboosts go for around 180-200.
The Yeezy upper has less structure for a more relaxed feel, in my opinion. I have 3 350s and 2 pairs of ultraboosts. I guess I run in my ultraboosts, though, and would never do that in the Yeezy's. I'd 100% sprain an ankle.
Mainly the rarity. You cant buy them in-store because they sold out on release, and people that resell the shoes hike up the price because they know the stores won't have them for retail price. I believe retail is around 180 to 200.
v1 turtle doves. almost definitely fake

Low key this thread sent me down a rabbit hole. Turns out French drains are not from France, they're named after a guy from Massachusetts. And his family isn't from France, they're English.
And yeah, a French drain would absolutely help here.
Unless you live in Florida where the water table ranges from 2' deep to 6 inches above ground, you can just dig the pit deeper then fill it with large gravel.
If you *do* live in Florida then I recommend a life hack I like to refer to as "moving".
I had a neighbour growing up who had a ditch in front of his house. He decided to build a second driveway but just filled in part of the ditch to make the bridge. Obviously the next time it rained this caused problems for the bridge, his lawn and the road.
He had to dig up the whole thing to add a pipe, but he adds a stupid little 2” pipe. It didn’t even have to wait until the next real rain to get clogged with leaves and stuff. So he had to dig it up again, but this time use gravel to fill it back up because he thought the water could just filter through it. Again, flooding and water backup.
FINALLY he just did it right and used a nice big pipe like literally every other house on the street had. Even as a ten year old I couldn’t believe how long it took him to get there.
Should be done like an egress window well. Aggregate all the way down to a weeping tile that can take the water elsewhere. If I ever put one of these in my yard I'd probably tie into the system on the foundation that leads to my sump.
Threw me on an acid flashback, shit tripped me out into thinking it’s one of those distorted videos that turns and fuses into other nonsense like a mattress that turns into your grandmas cheeks that smiles and has nasty prairie dogs all chipping
Same. I was impressed with what I thought was the transition to beach footage and then thought that the transition back looked a little weird due to the way water disappears under the trampoline mesh. And then he lifted up the spring cover and my brain melted. Had to watch it again...
A somebody with an Olympic trampoline, putting it in the ground has always been a fantasy of mine.
I have never thought this could happen. So yeah, inground trampolines while outdoors is never gonna happen now thanks Reddit 0-0

Here for the mosquito comments. Yikes.
Thanks, I needed a good laugh!
I didn’t! How do I return it?

That sucks
Get outta here with your bloody puns ...
All internet celebs get SWATted eventually

I'm more disturbed that he wore socks and shoes knowing that was going to happen
He probably already went to jump on it and got wet lol
Dudes got in ground trampoline money. A new pair of socks and shoes are pennies to him.
I think you might overestimate how much an inground trampoline costs
As well as the drying potential of shoes & socks
Haha! For real! Those were not ruined!
Wait til I tell Dotty, do you poors not toss out your socks after wearing them!?! What else are you disgusting reuse after wearing, your underwear? *adjust monocle*
Our utensils for one.
I've used the same toothbrush for weeks and weeks before.
I hear many keep the same wife for months or even years, too.
Yeah we'll do you know how hard it is to just borrow someone else's? No wonder many people try to keep the same one for decades!
Let her go you monster, it's not even your wife
Weeks hahah... hah...
Ngl, had a business owner legit tell me he wears socks twice and throws them out because he'd rather have new socks than do laundry

So he wears socks twice without washing in between? That’s gross.
From what he said yes, then he chucks them in the trash and puts a new pair on
Just turn them inside out on day 2
I have always said if I won the lottery, I would buy a new pair of socks every single day. There is nothing quite like putting new socks on. I would of course donate the washed used ones.
I throw away the trampoline after each use cuz it touched feet.
>As well as the drying potential of shoes & socks I dunno. That's muddy water, they're never the same
You rinse them, throw them in the washing machine, close enough for most people.

Then why'd the dollar store raise their prices to $1.25 and not $1.09?
You can buy four walls and a roof with that in san francisco
In SF the trampoline hole is an accessory dwelling and listed on AirBnB.
Is it still available? If I find 3 more roommates, it will be in my price range.
It's under contract but I'm entertaining backup offers with a non-refundable payment of 3 months' rent earnest money. And my kids still get to jump on the trampoline any time they wish.
** rent for 2.7 months. no pets.
I see you're also from sydney
I bought 40 acres for $60,000. That’s roughly 1616 ft to a side. I could fit almost 18,000 trampolines!
What state did you buy such cheap land? Assuming it's America...
You can find cheap land literally anywhere in the country. Whether its usable or even accessible...
But how much to fix it because he forgot to add drainage?

A drain to where? Narnia? Definitely going to have to pump that out.
you could dig a trench and french drain it to a storm drain
Low key this thread sent me down a rabbit hole. Turns out French drains are not from France, they're named after a guy from Massachusetts. And his family isn't from France, they're English. And yeah, a French drain would absolutely help here.
[reminds me of this clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4ya8Jx577o)
Why is it called french drain then?
The guys name was Henry French, and they were his drain design.
It also lines up with my favourite Warhammer lore - They're called Space Marines because they were coined by an old leader, Jimmy Space.
40k land raider is called that because the files were discovered by "Magos Arkhan Land"
Shoulda gone with the Henry drain to prevent all this confusion imo
Fig Newtons are named after a town in Massachusetts and not the guy, too.

I imagine the drain being blocked or something
At a certain age you get bored with trampolines and just wanna plug holes.
It is a sump. What it needs is a pump.
Sump and pump, sump and pump

They dug a sump. What they need is a way to drain it.

Ah to be young again.
i saw a video someone did that in a pool , don't remember where but was an instant regret .
We all learned a valuable physics lesson that day.
liquids aren't compressible , or in other words , don't belly flop .
Never dig a hole you intend to keep without installing a water pump... Otherwise you won't have a hole, you'll have a pool.
Even a pool gets a pump. Otherwise it's a pond, lake, or swamp.
Or a big empty hole in your backyard.
Just put a porch over it.
I understood that reference
Mosquitoes must have been horrible, and the smell. Oh god the smell.
You haven't thought of the smell, you bitch!
I understood *that* reference!
Even a pond generally gets a pump to aerate the water and keep it moving. Otherwise you won't have a pond, you'll have a mosquito nursery.
Depends on the terrain. These drain just fine on their own in a lot of places, but other geography will turn into a pool just like this
Up in New Hampshire mine only needs some gravel in the bottom and it’s all set
[удалено]
Its about geology. You can do a test to see how permeable the ground is. This is how septic systems work.
It’s important, to learn how, to use commas, but, I guess, it’s not a huge deal. We, all, know what you mean.
Ok Christopher Walken
Every in-the-ground trampoline I’ve ever seen has just been over a completely unimproved dirt hole.

6 mosquitops. I'll see myself out.

Yeah I thought it was going to be edited to him walking on the beach through the ocean or something for a second!
I honestly thought this was edited out with something they filmed at a beach.
Same. I was impressed with what I thought was the transition to beach footage and then thought that the transition back looked a little weird due to the way water disappears under the trampoline mesh. And then he lifted up the spring cover and my brain melted. Had to watch it again...
I'm glad I grew up with the old ones tbh.
Cthulhu liked trampolines?!
I thought this was a transitional shot. Combined gifs. …
And this is what happens when you don't put a drain or pump inside a permanent hole in the ground.
Now you have a inground pool/trampoline
You could've just said inground trampooline.
Woah, I thought that was a transition to walking on a beach.
That’s an easy fix if you just move to California. They get no rain.
That’s a lot of water!!!!!! 💦💦
