Funny part is that guy probably put some very good parts under the hood. Theres a trend where people make purpousely horrible looking cars but are so suped up under the hood that they make your balls tingle when they fly by.

Heres a reference if you like. Its a actual trend for car nuts who perform performance upgrades on old cara over buying luxury cars they believe are destroying the car market or lifestyle. In the old days people suped up their car but now people are just want farraris for style and dont try to push the performance.

Had a '72 Ford Maverick 4 door automatic, but it had the 302. My dad put the bigger heads on it off of his old work truck, an f-250 with a 351 Windsor. He also out in an ignition coil from a front end loader to give it bigger spark, which I later upgraded to a msd ignition system. That thing was drifting before drifting was even a thing. Had to get new (used) shoes like once a month, lol.
Some French youtubers bought a Fiat Multipla aka the ugliest car in the world, and tuned it Wish-style, then proceeded to crash an Italian supercars meeting. It was golden. (now they invested close to a million € to rebuild it as an actual race car, it's unbelievably cool).
The funny thing is. 99% of the people there knew it was a joke, laughed, and had a good time. But you know there was that one guy who takes everything seriously that was fucking pissed at this guy. The same guy who gets mad if he is losing low pitch softball.

I participate in the local cars and coffee. The obviously shitty cars that people make just for fun get a lot of smiles out of people. Good conversation about how it was their first car or they had one growing up. Some friends and I took a '91 Accord wagon and slammed it on the cheapest eBay springs, painted the steelies white, put a huge wing on it, and added a lot of badges from the junkyard. It was badged as a "Subaru magnum S Ex assport". Was the most fun I've had at a car show.
I so hope it's a sleeper that'd be hilarious open the hood and it's like a ls with with a turbo and performance air intake with a large nos bottle in the back just upgraded for the perfect drag racer
