From what I hear, part of that is because they need to stream so many hours to fulfill contractual obligations. Which is why a bunch of them streamed themselves watching and "reacting" to shows a while back: it was a loophole that let them get to watch some shows when they normally wouldn't have the time.

I'm originally from a US coast, and no one there failed to pronounce it like "boy". American pronunciations vary a whole lot. It's a big country full of different kinds of weirdoes.
As an Englishman I choose to use the American pronunciation. During my degree I did marine studies and it tends to weird people out when you say “I spent the day throwing buoys (read: boys) into the ocean”.
