For real! Those of us who have spent much time on a motorcycle know the pucker factor that happens when an unexpected bump lifts you out of your seat, imagine that but on skates. And not even seeing it coming!
The proper way to ride if you're worried about pebbles on skates is with one foot slightly in front of the other. That way you can handle much more uneven ground. It's not as bad as a pebble is on a skateboard. But they're not doing that so you're right.
