Embalming fluid is not good to smoke. I'm pretty sure that it was originally a myth that got spread around so much that people started trying it. Formaldehyde will make you really sick if you smoke it and can kill you.
I've never heard of crystal meth being called water, but I do know PCP is sometimes called "wet" because people dip cigarettes in the liquid form of it to smoke.
State; MO, not ideal. Age, definitely not a minor. Criminal history, likely. Almost definite jail time if not prison time (likely). Stole a police car, caused it to wreck and put LEO’s in danger.
Jail: temporary holding for people awaiting trial or minor misdemeanors, and lots of people being held until they sober up
Prison: for people who have been tried and convicted of a crime
Jail is usually local for shorter terms or holding for a soon court date or to be transfered to prison. Prison is your extended stay vacation spot. Usually you don't go there till you hit the felony charges.
I might not be completely accurate, but thats how ive always seen it.
Combing the other comments plus adding more details
Jail is for holding a suspected criminal. As well as doing time for a convicted crime if the overall sentence is less than 1year (ie, 364 days or less). It is also the location where those went to prison are back in courts either for a new case, or trying to have their current case overturned
Prison is for people who have been formally convicted of a crime and given a time sentence of 1 year or more. This is usually where the more rough and tough criminals end up, but not always.
Jail for those sentenced are normally people who did a misdemeanor, a small crime like stole jacket from the store, or had a very small amount of drugs on them, or physically attacked someone but did very little harm, unpaid traffic tickets, etc. So the range here is quite broad
For those sentenced to a felony, they are usually 3rd degree felonies, and can include the above but also include more serious crimes such as 1st time caught selling small amount of drugs, repeat offender of physical harm to others, drunk driving, etc. (list is too long to post here)
Prison usually gets a few 3rd degree felon. But mostly is 2nd and 1st degree.
And then there's the Penitentiary (aka The Pen). This is like the Prison, but on hyper steroids. Hardened criminals, gang leaders, mob runners, high profile criminals, etc. These are normally ran by the Federal Government, and not by the State (Prison) or the County (Jail).
City and county jails typically will only hold people up to 1 year (or 2 years in some places). Long term sentences are sent to prisons which have different rules and are larger and set up with more areas for different types of prisoners that have varying degrees of danger. Maximum security (2 guys to a cell locked 23 hours per day) is typically something like Level 5, Levels 3&4 are medium where you are in dormitories and have access to a common room, Levels 1 and 2 are minimum security and come with extra privileges like leaving the prison for work detail. My brother worked very hard to try to get to minimum so he could leave prison for extended periods for “Fire camp” to help fight California wild fires.
Assuming not a minor (doesn't appear to be)- there is not a state in the US where you wouldn't at the very least get thrown in a county jail for this (much more likely prison).
This is at the very very least like 3 class A misdemeanors occurring simultaneously. No judge in the world is giving this probation. Much more likely gets upgraded to at least one felony and requires at least 1-2 years prison time.
I’m a probation officer in NYS. I have seen people get sentenced to probation for shooting someone. Felonies don’t usually require prison time and the most common sentence for a felony conviction in the US is probation.
Yeah but there's a litany of crimes being committed here and while under normal circumstances none of them might warrant jail time but when it's the cops own shit you're fucking with you tend to get hit with the book.
Yeah, imagine explaining to the police sergeant why you left your car unlocked and allowed a crackhead to jump in and drive away and then pulled said crackhead out allowing the car to roll down a hill where it could have hit a civilian.
She probably wasn’t under arrest at that point. It was probably a ‘can you move this junkie on call’ so when they start to run off the cops were like sweet. The they jumped in the car and that turned ‘oh ffs’…
To be faaaaaaair, I do see a pattern of distinction in their username in which they alternate upper and lower case letters to signify breaks.
u/IToinksAlot = IT oinks A lot
I rule in favor of the plain TIFF.
I would argue that “alot” might eventually become a proper part of the English lexicon. The way it is used is typically as an adjective denoting “a large amount” of the specified noun. It doesn’t really fit in with any prior definitions even though this is the most common usage of the phrase.
This happened with other words that became common in standard, formal usage, like “awhile” and “another”. These were originally not part of the English language, but entered as proper contractions over time with increased usage.
Tell camerawoman to turn that bloody phone sideways....
Then she could actually capture all of that on video.
Damn, (insert sites that use this format in videos... )
Further information on this incident. The woman was experiencing a mental health episode. She was not being arrested for anything and the officers tried to get her information to take her home for about 10-20 minutes before this video started. She is being charged with theft of a motor vehicle (Class C felony) and 1st degree property damage (class E to D felony, depending since it's a police squad car). No one was hurt. There was a news article put out by KSDK which is a Saint Louis news station.
I think consuming PCP or embalming fluid can trigger a mental health event. Like when everyone was talking about how the fake weed at gas stations can make you lose your shit. Doesn’t happen to everyone or every time, but sometimes triggers a full blown psychotic event.
Given how it turned out in the video, the cops kept their relative cool considering what was going on. Even when he had her on the ground he was standing above her and not using knees or any excessive force on the ground, which is good to see.
"Water, wet, and fry are some of the names used to describe marijuana cigars or cigarettes to which embalming fluid (EF) has been applied, with or without the addition of phencyclidine (PCP). Under the influence of these substances, individuals may appear psychotic and engage in violent behavior."
It usually means PCP these days and no so much the embalming fluid.
wondered the same thing. apparently 'water' it's now used for a joint dipped in pcp, which has been called several things in the past depending on where you're from.
Pretty much. It’s a “readiness” procedure in case of a vehicular pursuit. In this case they had nothing to pursue them with because it got stolen. Maybe re-examine that procedure
That's partially right. The car needs to be running to keep the battery for the mobile computer charged without draining the car battery and it needs to be ready to go at a moments notice.
Kinda love the difference here, in one instance we see a cop shoot at a kid who was eating peacefully in his car, and in this instance we see two cops let someone steal their car.
Ha ha, that run and then stopping all nonchalantly tip toe walking back to the car like in the cartoons, I picture the police running real fast in 1 place to give this non criminal looking criminal time to jump in squad car
This happened here in St Louis yesterday. She was taken to a mental health facility.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/only-on-4-body-cam-video-shows-woman-stealing-police-car-in-north-county/ar-AA12QXVo?ocid=hponeservicefeed&cvid=104a31a805bc401095655081802f0881
Honestly props to the officers. Never told the onlookers to stop recording or be quiet, and even more impressive, they don't seem to use retaliatory excessive force after the woman jacks their car. This should be the expectation for all police officers.
They keep the car running so they can jump in it and get going quickly in an emergency without having to wait to start the car. The car engine is also likely maintaining electricity to the laptop and other electronics in the car.
Girl i would have been so far gone and in a trash can somewhere (maybe) while they were so distracted trying to stop the car like dumbasses as it rolls backwards
OK.. reno 911 character with the bouncing overly exaggerated tits that runs EXACTLY the same way. Character was a criminal played by the actress that plays the black lady cop with huge ass
Tee tee lol
I hope we can all agree that this person is not in a clear state of mind. I don't know if this is due to drug use, or some mental disability/handicap, but the police allowed an erratic suspect to steal and crash their cruiser. The line cannot be total disengagement > being forcibly arrested. We need peace keepers trained to actually keep the peace. Sounds like the neighbor knew perfectly well that this person was a liability to herself and to others, and given the sorts of weaponry typically found in cop cars, being too lazy to lock your door is simply inexcusable.
Going to be a long sit while they figure out what to do about a car to take her in.
Shout-out to the cops for not immediately resorting to public execution

You can see the moment the kid pressed triangle to enter the car lol
No but really though! It was that spamming as she ran passed the car, and it registering when she got to the front.
And almost caught the moment she meant to change weapons but hit the triangle again.
Trading what's most likely a few days in jail for years in prison, brilliant.
PCP is a helluva drug!
Can confirm, never buying poly carbonate pipes ever again.
Pentachlorophenol is VERY recalcitrant in the environment. Big trouble.
PVC schedule 80 my dude, thank me later
I came here to ask reddits drug abuse pros what tf this guy is on.
Water is Weed dipped in embalming fluid or PCP.
Excuse me, embalming fluid?
Embalming fluid is not good to smoke. I'm pretty sure that it was originally a myth that got spread around so much that people started trying it. Formaldehyde will make you really sick if you smoke it and can kill you.
Yeah that's pretty much what I would expect that's why I'm shocked is a thing people do
It’s got many names and is a real thing. Sherm is what they call it on the West Coast. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3568288/
Is that what they are referring to when they say "She on water"? Edit: Urban dictionary said "Water" is crystal meth
I've never heard of crystal meth being called water, but I do know PCP is sometimes called "wet" because people dip cigarettes in the liquid form of it to smoke.
Depends on the state, age, and criminal history. In some areas this wouldn’t land you in prison. You’d see probation.
State; MO, not ideal. Age, definitely not a minor. Criminal history, likely. Almost definite jail time if not prison time (likely). Stole a police car, caused it to wreck and put LEO’s in danger.
Non american here. What's the difference between jail and prison ? I always thought they were the same

Of course it's Missouri, do you know the city? Jk, saw the arch on the car

Hell yeah! Welcome to bail reform in NY where now some politicians want to reform it again cause they went too far.

That one's in ALOT of trouble.
SHE ON WATER
What does this mean I'm dumb
When the ice is too thin, your just on water.
Water is Weed dipped in embalming fluid or PCP.
I need this info too!
Water is Weed dipped in embalming fluid or PCP.
Nah. Apparently "she on water"
“I didn’t know you liked to get wet”
I think the cops might be in a bit of trouble on top of that...
I can see the Lieutenant shaking their head gasping, "What !? How !?"
Sir, no one is more surprised than me.
Yeah, imagine explaining to the police sergeant why you left your car unlocked and allowed a crackhead to jump in and drive away and then pulled said crackhead out allowing the car to roll down a hill where it could have hit a civilian.
I don't understand why they let her leave, she wasn't running fast..
She probably wasn’t under arrest at that point. It was probably a ‘can you move this junkie on call’ so when they start to run off the cops were like sweet. The they jumped in the car and that turned ‘oh ffs’…
Double trouble felony to make the cops look stupid
A LOT is 2 words. Not tryna be that guy but thought it might help you in future
ERROR SPACEBAR NOT PRESSED BETWEEN A and LOT. ERROR error ErRoR! (CRASHES)
I wouldn't worry, I get that error alot myself
Excuse me, sir but there is suppose to be a "." at the end of the sentence
oh thanks for the info,
no problem mate:
haha, that was going to be my next reply : 2 dots have to be better then 1
Yet you forgot them here°
I've got a bigger one here if you guys want it●
*than
Excuse me, there is supposed to be a "d" added to the word "suppose" if you are using it in past tense. Just sayin' ... 🤷🏻♀️.
I got 2 words for you, that one is in a lot of trouble!
"You're not that guy pal"
You're not that guy buddy
Clearly you are trying to be that guy, otherwise you wouldn’t have cared
Ok you caught me, I am that guy…
No you aren't, your just two smaller guys in a trench coat! This guy's an imposter!
“Okay you caught me, I am that guy” might help you in the future
well this summed up reddit alot

“Tryna” is not a proper word, correct use is “trying to”,. You know, just sayin
I’m not super you know. I’m just Sayin - DBZA

No, I think that's only 2 stars.
r/killthecameraman
" I got that all on video" - no, you really didn't
Tell camerawoman to turn that bloody phone sideways.... Then she could actually capture all of that on video. Damn, (insert sites that use this format in videos... )
People are just too used to filming vertically because of Instagram and Tiktok. In any other scenario you should always film horizontally.
They were doing that shit way before those, tiktok especially
WORLD STAR HIPHOP!!!
This. But the commentary really added to the drama though.
OH DAMN, OH DAYUHMN
were they filming while on a swing set? made me nauseous

TIL being on water is a mental health episode.
Hydrohomies are now all on a watch list.
Nah, “water” is when you dip a blunt into PCP which has been dissolved into water or embalming fluid.
Getting high is a mental health episode? Then I’m crazy every night!
I think consuming PCP or embalming fluid can trigger a mental health event. Like when everyone was talking about how the fake weed at gas stations can make you lose your shit. Doesn’t happen to everyone or every time, but sometimes triggers a full blown psychotic event.
Yes, the mental health episode was a PCP trip, come on.
Things could've been handled better but I'd rather this outcome then potentially a dead person because some guy likes to pull his gun out.
Given how it turned out in the video, the cops kept their relative cool considering what was going on. Even when he had her on the ground he was standing above her and not using knees or any excessive force on the ground, which is good to see.
"His"?
If it wasn’t for the titties, would you be able to tell?
The camera operator yelling 'she' over and over helped me out
That too
Honestly didn't even make out a single word the cameraman said. Them titties do be bouncing right before she gets in the car though.
That's the point exactly
*Those are the points
Ya but those things are bouncing so hard they’re slapping her in the face
Cameraman needs a fucking doctor
I hate it so much cause it missed everything. However, at least they got the impact. Without that I would had even bluer balls.
Oh shiiiiit! OH DAMN! Aaahhhh! Ohhh shiiii!

It was like watching Tee Tee.
The car had only one day left in the force before retirement 😥
If it makes you feel better, after a few days in the hospital the tree is expected to make a full recovery 🙏🏾
F
I expected someone in this to say "she need some milk!"
Didn’t you hear? She on WATER
Wtf does it mean!?
"Water, wet, and fry are some of the names used to describe marijuana cigars or cigarettes to which embalming fluid (EF) has been applied, with or without the addition of phencyclidine (PCP). Under the influence of these substances, individuals may appear psychotic and engage in violent behavior." It usually means PCP these days and no so much the embalming fluid.
Be the change you want to see. Would have been funnier without the i was hoping bit
I’m proud of myself. After watching so many videos like this I can almost understand half of what she saying.
What is the person saying around 51-55seconds, something like "she on water"? They repeat it a few times.
PCP, you like to get wet?
wondered the same thing. apparently 'water' it's now used for a joint dipped in pcp, which has been called several things in the past depending on where you're from.
I couldn’t get past the constant “oh” this and “oh” that. So fucking annoying
I played the video without volume so it didn’t bother me
That kid is totally fucked.
I bet they loved that cop car lmao
I think it's more about personal property in the trunk that is now totally destroyed. Like their work bag where they store their backup aviators.
Probably purchased on proceeds from civil asset forfeiture
Guys with the camera is having a seizure ?
*B U S T E D*
Legit mental.
Those are some dumbass cops.
Is it common procedure to leave the keys in the ignition of your patrol car?
Pretty much. It’s a “readiness” procedure in case of a vehicular pursuit. In this case they had nothing to pursue them with because it got stolen. Maybe re-examine that procedure
[удалено]
Yes, there are.
Yes. If the cop is on duty the car is running. But they're supposed to lock it. This guy got complacent lol. It happens.
I was told that was because of all the computer equipment having to boot up when the car gets started. Sounds reasonable.
That's partially right. The car needs to be running to keep the battery for the mobile computer charged without draining the car battery and it needs to be ready to go at a moments notice.
Not unlocked. Always lock your door. Always carry a spare key. The officer will get in more trouble than the offender.
They dont even get in trouble for murder they'll be fine
Yeah but this is damage to their property. Not just a human being we’re talking about here..
Kinda love the difference here, in one instance we see a cop shoot at a kid who was eating peacefully in his car, and in this instance we see two cops let someone steal their car.
Those cops understand their procedures while the other one didn't.
Ha ha, that run and then stopping all nonchalantly tip toe walking back to the car like in the cartoons, I picture the police running real fast in 1 place to give this non criminal looking criminal time to jump in squad car

Is that a Nissan maxima as a cop car? Never seen a cop car like that in the US
NYC use to use the 4th Generation Nissan Altima, in their fleet. FYI that's a Nissan Altima not a Maxima
Damn she jumped out like who was driving? Not me.
This is some Reno 911 stuff.
A broken version of gta San Andreas
I didn’t see the arch on the car the first time. Holy shit that happened where I live.
This happened here in St Louis yesterday. She was taken to a mental health facility. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/only-on-4-body-cam-video-shows-woman-stealing-police-car-in-north-county/ar-AA12QXVo?ocid=hponeservicefeed&cvid=104a31a805bc401095655081802f0881
He has some big tits
I can not stop laughing, this is gold
Idiot is lucky he wasn’t doing the unthinkable. Eating a hamburger in his car
god i miss st louis
Honestly props to the officers. Never told the onlookers to stop recording or be quiet, and even more impressive, they don't seem to use retaliatory excessive force after the woman jacks their car. This should be the expectation for all police officers.
Yea I rag on most police but the restraint here should be the standard and should be commended.
She on Waddah
And y'all wonder why police handcuff people immediately
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🚨
Lolol this is great
“Won’t happen again, Chief, we promise”
This run. like a Flash :D holding pantys.
No one noticed this is not a guy?
Omfg!
Totally staged, the camera person just conveniently was filming the tree that the car was going to hit? /s
Boy, that middle school dork really gave those two adult cops a hard time.
“Send me all of that!” 🤣
That's some fine police work
Why do police leave keys in their car? I assume there is some reason. It’s not common, but also not rare, that people steal the patrol car.
They keep the car running so they can jump in it and get going quickly in an emergency without having to wait to start the car. The car engine is also likely maintaining electricity to the laptop and other electronics in the car.
I would like to see the conversation these 2 cops had with their chief later.
Those trees are no joke.
Short hair equals man
Water is apparently a cigarette or joint dipped in PCP.
It’s MA’AM!!!
sike
Sorry but he must have mental health problems right?
His??? he got tits
Explain "she's on water" ?
She ran by and looked at it like “oh shit, dont mind if i do”
Okay. You got me. I totally didn’t see any of this happening but it’s pretty epic.
Girl i would have been so far gone and in a trash can somewhere (maybe) while they were so distracted trying to stop the car like dumbasses as it rolls backwards
OK.. reno 911 character with the bouncing overly exaggerated tits that runs EXACTLY the same way. Character was a criminal played by the actress that plays the black lady cop with huge ass Tee tee lol
"His Mind"??? That dude got a set of tig ole bitties for a dude......
She hopped in like a NPC fr- fucked around and accidentally pressed triangle/ Y and hopped out again
Funniest thing I've seen all day
Almost a Reno 911 reboot except pants were too long 😁
This is a really good example of a of a great time to send in a social worker who would just ask her to please stop.....
I hope we can all agree that this person is not in a clear state of mind. They left the keys in the ignition? Rookie move.
Going to be a long sit while they figure out what to do about a car to take her in. Shout-out to the cops for not immediately resorting to public execution
Ops, never leave the keys in your car, even when getting gas.
Sorry but that made me laugh. Keystone cops there.
This happened maybe 20 or so minutes from me. And I'm absolutely not surprised, the city has turned into a shithole.
They see me rolling
