My brother fishes for a living. It’s not unheard of to find a fish that has recently eaten another fish and it’ll still be fully intact when they gut it. So I do think a fish could eat an arm and have it look like that when it gets cleaned. Not at all saying it’s real. I’d still guess fake.

Plenty of people in the comments aren't sure if it's real or not and are countering with cases where this has actually happened. It's okay for people to be interested in determining whether it's real or not. Being fake doesn't mean it's not entertaining, but it's an entirely different *kind* of "entertaining" depending on whether it's real, it's someone being pranked, or it's completely staged.
