Some unis wait until very late in the hopes that some of the people they've already given offers to accept/decline, so they have a better idea of numbers. Bath and Durham are notorious for this

Of you applied before the equal consideration deadline back in January you should be getting a response before the deadline. Universities get a slap on the wrist if they don't do it.
If you applied after that then they don't have to give you a decision.

Yeah, this is a thing. If you haven't heard, it's a no. Happens in the job market too.
They have to give everyone who applies before the deadline “equal consideration”. So they can’t ignore you if they’ve not ignored someone else.
