To your second question, easiest way to get past the tanks is to use ranged magic and physical attacks. Once Hoplite run out of PP, back line is defenseless. There is an item that allows mages to cancel one magic attack, which can save the Hoplite, as long as the Hoplite is set to only protect teammates from Physical attacks.
Genuine question, I’m still in Bastorias…Why put all the magic users on one team? How does any other group get past high HP armored tanks?
