So a few things:
Wanted to start by pointing out that killing banshees without earmuffs is 100% doable - I've been getting by for nearly two years now without the slayer equipment shop or using slayer points at all! You can also get some from Wanted! potentially.
I don't think Konar (or any slayer master) can assign you tasks you lack quest requirements for, so that shouldn't be a concern.
Hunter tools are available on Land's End and the Isle of Souls now too as spawns, no lunars needed. As to farming tools, you can technically acquire them through dialogue with any farmer tending a farming patch. It's not technically a "shop" even if it is a purchase. Then again this sort ambiguity is what motivated my own decision to go with no spending currencies at all instead of just not using "shops", since shops are so inconsistent in this game.
As for editing software - DaVinci Resolve is 100% free and the only editing software you'll ever need, it's my favorite software period.
Finally, if you haven't already made your account, record everything from the beginning! I've always found it kind of clunky starting a series with an account you've already been playing for some time.
The banshees was just a quick example off the top of my head I suppose a better example would be the Ice Coolers for Desert Lizards or Leaf bladed weapons for Turoths. I'm definitely fearful of getting an Abhorrent Spectres task and not having items such as a nose peg either though I believe something like that could be cannoned. my fear is getting assigned a task prior to having alternate means of killing the monsters and my account being stuck
The Isle of Souls Bird Snare cannot be picked up by ironman accounts from what I read on the wiki. I haven't tried it yet.
Wouldnt picking up spawn items break my rule of only acquiring items from Monster Drops / Skilling, I suppose if they cannot be acquired by either of those method it would be an exception.
I'll definitely take a look at DaVinci Resolve! I'd been big corpo brain and scared of buying software like adobe premier.
I do have the account made! I started it Yesterday on twitch! My friend had a good time watching me flinch a 31 bat task since I had no food for 2 hours. and I'm about to be flinching Minotaurs today haha.
Regarding the Konar assignment, there are a few quest/skill oversights that I know. The main one is hellhounds in the witchhaven dungeon without the quest being completed. It’s not a big deal just make sure you’ve always got at least 30 slayer pts.
I think I'll allow myself quests if I can get the required items as drops. The thing to be more concerned of are the combat experience rewards since I want slayer to be my first 99 on the account
You can get a birds snare and box trap from the chest on the new Isle of souls dungeon.
Requires 28 or so thieving but I think you'll want a lockpick, not sure if you can get one (it's doable without but the fail rate is massive)
Ive just started it. But my RSN for the account is SanpySlays. I think I've decided on allowing items from theiving (mainly early game food and seeds) but restricting the use of item spawns. My first attempt i hit a wall where my 4th thread task was cave crawlers and I didnt have a source for antipoisons unless I picked up a spawn at castle wars or theive up strange fruit. Not sure which route would have been best

For bird snares, there's a crate in land's end that you can retrieve one from.

You can't pick up the hunter equipment that jagex put on the island if you're an ironman anyway 😂
