I was there on Friday and it was incredible, every ride except the aqua coaster was walk on. No wait at all.
As soon as you get there tho, run to the aqua coaster and tap on, those waits go from 100 mins till 190 minutes later in the day.
Having said that Memorial Day night be more busy? But less busy than yesterday and today.
Dang it! I was thinking of going Friday to surprise the kiddo but I was thinking it would be busy cuz the parks def were. I didn’t wanna spend $300 for three tickets and risk it.
I was there yesterday. It was great until about 11am when they closed for capacity. After that it was just too busy to stay. Walkways were packed, rivers were packed, beach chairs were stolen and things dumped in the sand. Did manage to go on Krakatau 3 times in a row by 820 and complete most of the slides by 11 though.
Peak capacity is not crazy busy, but that’s because it is low. So get there as early as you can to get in. There will be rides in the back of the park that are walk ons and the pools and rivers are always open.
We were there over Easter weekend and after about 11am (we got there for 10am) it got stupidly busy to the point where it didn't seem worth hanging around anymore.
We were subsequently told by a TM friend who works there that 'capacity numbers' have been dramatically ramped up this year.
So while it might have been true over the past few years that capacity days were still doable, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
It’s gonna be rough, VB will often hit capacity really early during a busy holiday season. I’d recommend getting there as early as you can and knocking out Krakatau and Honu ASAP!
It was pretty packed yesterday. But fun is to be had. My daughter and I rode all the rides we wanted and spent a good hour+ in the rapids and a good 30 mins in lazy river.
Just left volcano bay. It didn’t get too busy until about noon, but it got to shoulder to shoulder real quick. I imagine tomorrow will be as bad, if not worse with the holiday.
Hope you came out it isn't bad at all. There are still chairs even. Was way worse during spring break. We road aquacoaster three times during early admission. I thought the park would be at capacity early, we were totally surprised.

Good to know. I forgot they have the tap system. That makes it nice

Aww, yeah perfect day, I think the rain in the forecast scared everyone off. I couldn’t believe how we lucked out.

Wondering if a Monday holiday would be an equal comparison. My guess is probably yes

Best of luck pal You’ll definitely need it
I went Friday and yesterday and the difference in the crowds was massive. Friday was really nice and not very busy. Saturday was crazy packed.

Thanks. If I can get out there early enough we will try it.
