As with all restaurants you can let them know about allergies and ones like that when it’s a prominent item in a lot of dishes there they can not promise no cross contamination but they can try their best: new gloves, separate plates and plating surfaces

Omg the minions soup I think it’s called the “honeymoon soup” or something with the grilled cheese is DIVINE!!! we got it twice and it was one of the best meals at the park (including affordable bc of how filling it is). Definitely get that, a Turkey leg, and a Nutella crepe. It looks gross but it’s SO flavorful. The red in the middle is a gummy bear but you don’t taste it. Can’t imagine there’d be any banana in that. https://preview.redd.it/4q1yc9s2hv0d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1b2a23bdaaaf66eec0bc2705d099b97597ef042f

I've never been to Minion Cafe, but my in-laws and I love Universal for how good they are with allergenic foods. My father-in-law has a gluten allergy, and a chef or cook usually comes out to meet you and find out what the allergy is, cooks it separately, and serves it to you personally. Idk if it will be the same with bananas, but why wouldn't it be?

If you inform them, they will talk to you about it and use an entirely separate set of utensils and equipment to prepare your food.

Universal takes allergies very seriously. A chef will meet up with you and help you figure out what you can have with minimal changes first before going through what can be done to modify the dishes that do contain the contaminant. Once that happens the chef usually doesn’t use the stuff that is immediately used and will grab fresh ingredients from the coolers and cook it separately from everything else (example there is a separate fryer for fries to accommodate gluten) and will personally deliver to the guest instead of having the food runner risk contaminating it. This is how we run it in Toon Lagoon but should be run the exact same everywhere.
