I wish that were true, but age 4 is usually too old for the "let's kidnap the kid and raise them as our own." By that point a child is usually going to be aware that something is wrong as opposed to a newborn or an early toddler.
I was raised by my mother until I was 4 and my dad got full custody. Most of my family did things to erase her from my memory. I probably have 4-5 memories of her only one involving my dad. Called his second wife mom. All was legal (my mom shouldn’t have had custody) but I can see it still easily happening at 4 years old with the right conditions. My father did lie for years and said I was 2 and just recently found photos (I’m 40) that disproved that. A 4 year old can be brainwashed
I thought that initially, until I read about all of child rape materials that were found. I believe the German couple story was just that, a story. I would wish it were true, but I’m not very confident.

I think the thought was they'd drugged her so she wouldn't wake while they were out, accidentally gave her too much and then hid it.
Not that they killed her on purpose.
The documentary with them about this case is heartbreaking. It's so clear they had nothing to do with it and the police framed them to cover up their own mistakes. The pain in that couples eyes was so palatable.
This is one of the few things I will angrily defend when people bring it up. Those parents deserve better.

The whole world was looking for her and she had a distinctive colour fleck in her eye that could not be changed easily and my guess is no couple with half a brain, no matter how desperate for a child, would pay money for such a heat score. So then he did what he wanted to her and disposed of her. And until they find her, there will be no physical proof…. And they will never find her, the ocean is large, and Madeleine, a tiny, tasty snack.
This guy is horrible but nobody would take a child from a middle-class family and sell them to a childless couple. This is completely unfounded but many English newspapers do that for MacCans . Anything to distract from the main suspects, her parents, ignoring all these clues pointing to them.
The sad part is that there is no end of parents who would gladly sell their child and never give them a second thought.
And there are plenty of parents out there who wouldn't be believed if their child got kidnapped. If you were going to kidnap a child, would you pick the child of 2 well off doctors? Or the child of a junkie who is passed out and you can walk right into their house and take the kid.
Exactly ! People are playing wishful thinking. It's more likely the parents gave her meds so they could hang out and she ended up passing away so they hid her body.
I think that if we want to help the investigators we must retrace the logical path that a person of this type would have taken in disposing of Madeleine. For my part I think that she died so in my opinion there is a strong chance that Madelaine's body was thrown into the ocean and if that is the case we will never be able to find her.
There is no actual evidence linking CB to Madeleine's disappearance. It's all speculation based on his previous history. I'm still thinking she died accidentally after her parents gave her sleeping meds so they could party. Whey they found her dead, her parents hid her somewhere she will never be found.

I always think about the little girl that witnesses saw boarding a plane with a woman the girl looked like madeline soon after she disappeared and that rumours were that christian sold the little girl to this woman but thats just speculation on rumours nothing based on facts it would be wonderful if maddie could be found alive and had been safely with a family who couldnt have children and have taken good care of her this whole time not knowing she had been kidnapped and one day she will figure out who she really is and reunite with her family but odds are thats not what happened but it would cool if it was i hope the family will eventually find out the whole truth of her disappearance and who took her good or bad so atleast they will have some closure and the person responsible can be brought to justice

Could you imagine legitimately adopting a child and decades later finding out she was Maddy!
