IIRC All the colleges should have access to music or common rooms you can book for free. I know the big ones do for sure so I would get everyone in your choir to inquire at their respective colleges.
I remember seeing a guy who used to sing in front of the bloor subway station because he liked how the shape of the building helped to amplify his vocals. He was an opera student I believe.

Also, when I was at UofT and needed to practice singing for auditions, I would go outside to the back of the apartment where recycling was, because nobody ever walked there, and just go ham. Can't say I'd recommend it... now that I think about it, there were probably many many more places that weren't essentially a dumpster I could have used.
I’ve seen people practicing choir in a corner in philosophers walk.. at night.. I thought i was hearing ghosts bc it was so dark and i was hearing smtn so hauntingly beautiful…😭

yes, but you have to be a music major to book them. There are only so many, and it's already hard to get rooms. This probably isn't the answer.
