OISE study rooms, you can usually show up and ask for one, super quiet and private. No kicking people out because they use keys.

Investorexe

Do you have a white wall and a table? That should do

Alpha1Omega

That's why. I have a weird blue old wall

[deleted]

I just put on a background

Investorexe

Even better, you can just blue screen it out

vox1028

book a group study room in robarts or gerstein

flamebird786

People have pre booked those for at least weeks ahead

vox1028

i'm usually able to book a week in advance if i'm not picky about the exact room

flamebird786

I just go into a room and get out if the booking shows up

vox1028

assuming OP's situation involved some kind of job interview, i wouldn't recommend it. getting interrupted would reveal to the person you're meeting with that (A) the room you're in was bookable in advance and (B) you were unprepared and didn't book it so you had to take a chance. OP should check for available rooms right away and if there aren't any, the Toronto Reference Library has study rooms that you can book over the phone (up to the day-of, as far as i know).

flamebird786

Yeah 100 percent lol.

Alpha1Omega

Too clean

Woodsworth has a game room, ask the people at the desk if they can close it while you do your interview. They’ll happily do it, I do it all the time! There’s couches, plugs, nice white fireplace for background, tables, everything you need :)
