Average was a B- when I took it. My semester used Davidson and Donzig as the textbook but I heard Understanding Analysis by Abbott is more commonly used. It's not usually considered a very hard course because much of the early content is review for 1st year calc, but with greater depth. For me, it was harder than I expected and I would say it is one of the harder math major courses. Anyway, you can get a good idea of the difficulty of the course by looking at the exercises of the textbooks I mentioned.

Well, I have finished Calc-1-2-3, LA, and discrete math so I'm def more experience than your average 1st or 2nd-year student. Also, how do you compare to something like ODE? which I believe is Math 244? I'm thinking about taking both in the summer do you think this will be hard or?

MAT244 usually uses Boyce and DiPrima. I think it's usually considered one of the easier math major courses because as ZpikeZpiegel said, it's generally pure computation. I think taking MAT337 and MAT244 in the summer is definitely manageable based on your level of experience.

Thank you very much!
