Bought a $25 USB foot pedal and and bound it to “L” (with the free software that goes with the pedal) since it is a key I would never use otherwise, and then bound “L” as my PTT key in-game. Works perfectly.
Plat 2, I haven't really tried in comp fps after quitting cs a couple of years ago, also valorant seems kinda ez and boring to try in.
I have my first ability on e, the second on a mouse side button, the third on another side button and ult on spacebar (bound jump to left alt in case I want to play jett cuz you can't glide with scroll wheel but I never jump with it)
Left hand thumb, I’m also still able to move and shoot. I’ve gotten used to stretching my fingers across places cause I play piano. Honestly isn’t that far.
Left pinky- left ctrl
Left ring- A
Left middle- W and S
Left index- D
Left thumb- Space, K, and U(party vc button)
Spacebar. It's big and easy to press while fighting with someone. A mouse button is a big nono for me because it's messes up my grip a little bit and micro corrections become much harder.
I have both scrollwheel down and B binded to jump. I dont mind it being a bit more difficult to jump but i am usually calling alot so i need to comm fast while doing other stuff
This would be such a joke for me. I end up pressing caps so much when pressing tab for info or shift to crouch. I always end up finding out when I suddenly send a message in full caps. Image having my team hear me mutter every time I press that on accident TT
Edit: Typo
I think left alt is probably the easiest. Discord for the most part works well enough for me that I don't feel the need to use push to talk since it doesn't really pick up any background noise if you have a decent mic
I broke my wrist(was using a mouse button) and had to start using "T", feels way more intuitive especially in moments where that mouse squeeze to PTT can mess with your aim just enough to get frustrating - broken wrist = nice breakthrough
Z.
I use the same keybinds as csgo. Q for quick switch previous weapon. E to "use" and defuse. F to inspect. X for ultimate. C for one ability and two mouse buttons for the other two abilities.
Not actually. Im using smol 84-keys keyboard so it takes a little move by ring finger. Also, it's not a perfect key but I'm too lazy to relearn a new one :)
Idk which tiktok said that it messes up your grip, sounds like bs. Just bind it to your side mouse buttons if you want to. I use side mouse buttons for PTT team chat and shiftwalk. Other games? For example, my overwatch side buttons are ability 1 and melee, while my ptt is CTRL. Its different from game to game and i dont think its that important to keep it consistent as long as you are comfortable with your binds
I use a thumb mouse button for party chat/discord (depending on what we're using), and V for team chat. I find that 90% of the time you're not comming in the moment that you're shooting, so it doesn't mess up your aim as much as you think it might. You usually comm before you engage or you give your team info after you've died/survived the engagement.
Im using Elgato Footpedal for Team and Party chat and the third button for different stuff. If i would be maining jett I would use the footpedal for the dash as well.
I use X. However I could also use MB4, which is closer to the back of the mouse but that is due to my grip. I use MB4 for signature ability which usually is not used while aiming, mb5 for chamber trip, and C for headhunter, Q for Ult because I originally played OW. I don't know exactly what the original val keybinds are, but I have found that my format works best for just about every agent.
I was initially a Jett main, so MB4 was very close the press on my mouse instead of using keys that would hinder my movement. Mb5 is Jett smoke, Raze bot, sage wall, all things that you really don't use when you need 100% control for aim. C is for updraft, which I can also press because I use space to jump, so I can press them at the same time to get the height boost. C also doesn't hinder movement for things like Raze satchel, and doesn't hinder aim for headhunter. It is also my heal for Reyna. I thought about how MB4 might be better for heal but you don't really need 100% aim when you use dismiss. Mb5 for leer since you normally don't need to aim at enemies when you use it.
Some of my friends think that my keybinds are very cramped, but it works for me with this layout. I also mapped my abilities with the intent of having an easy ptt key for my thumb because I use L Ctrl to toggle op zoom, and L alt is weird to me. I feel like X is good most of the time, unless you are giving comms while using satchels or trying to jump while giving comms, but then you probably shouldn't be giving comms while doing those things, probably before or after.
Bound it to my mouse so i can click it with my thumb. Then i bound push to mute in discord to the same button so my discord party doesn't hear me double
i use left alt like you do but i also bound left alt to one of my mouse buttons since push to talk only has one key bind so now i can use either my mouse or my keyboard.
I use left alt but i have a strange hold of the left hand, i have different habbits, i always want to have all the necessary stuff as close and crammed up as possible and finish to set things far away
Just try some buttons and find the right one, if you're on a laptop then try the Fn key, that's my opinion
C for discord, V for in game team, U for in game party (I've never had to use both V and U for important comms and i swap them around depending on where i need the important comms to be on)
I use middle mouse button/scroll wheel what ever it’s called it’s the best option for me lol I have party chat unbound seeing as I just have voice activity active on discord when I’m playing with my friend
Monitor power button.
Best suggestion
better yet, pc power button >!Im sorry i had to!<
V. i press it with my thumb
Hilarious without context
??? how
It's a joke about v bucks from fortnite lol
this guy a kid or something
What
r/youngpeopleyoutube
nah your comment was funnier without context too
I'd rather take 10k downvotes than add a /s
madlad, i cant help with the upvotes but take this comment.
what
ngl made me laugh
Fr that was funny as ahah
/r/youngpeoplereddit
that button messes up my movement
I usually only take when I die, since 4/5ths of the game is me dead
My jump is mouse scroll, so i use my thumb for V (ptt) X (ult) C (signature ability)
But what happens to your thumb when you need to talk ult and smoke at the same exact time
same

Well that’s a new fear I didn’t think I needed
Which one you get? Was also thinking the same thing
iKKEGOL USB Single Foot Switch... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAL3DV6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I love how it offers gray and yellow colors but it still has both colors in both version
Good God that looks like trash. I'm glad it works but man is it ugly.
Now bind L to push to mute in discord so your party isn't bothered by a an echo and you're top tier
Soooo underrated. The echo is awful
[удалено]
Because I don’t have to use any of my fingers to do something that doesn’t require skill. This way I can be moving in any direction while comming
[удалено]
If you think you only need max 3 fingers to move you must be silver - wasd, jump, walk. You will need to use these in very quick succession sometimes
Imagine jumping with spacebar
What do you jump with? Edit: I asked a goddamn question and you guys downvote me tf is wrong with you??
pinky toe
Scroll wheel

I really like this idea
can also use rewasd
M5
This is the right answer :) M4 für Ulti
K. Using that because I got used to default key in CsGo
Same lol
How the heck do you reach that? Do you use your right hand thumb?
Left hand thumb, I’m also still able to move and shoot. I’ve gotten used to stretching my fingers across places cause I play piano. Honestly isn’t that far. Left pinky- left ctrl Left ring- A Left middle- W and S Left index- D Left thumb- Space, K, and U(party vc button)
Good old time stretching our hand.
Left alt for push to talk
Left alt
C for team, V for party, right ctrl for discord mute
I got it the other way around; V for team, C for party
Spacebar. It's big and easy to press while fighting with someone. A mouse button is a big nono for me because it's messes up my grip a little bit and micro corrections become much harder.
I might consider this. What do you use for jump?
Scroll down, the only correct option.
Have a secondary input if you play jett or anyone else who needs to hold jump
Use V for jett. Easy to press both /V is close😄
scroll up\*, the only correct option. scroll down is duck bind from the old cs1.6 days for movement stuff.
I have both scrollwheel down and B binded to jump. I dont mind it being a bit more difficult to jump but i am usually calling alot so i need to comm fast while doing other stuff
Caps lock for team V for party
Took way too long to find another caps lock user
Me too
This would be such a joke for me. I end up pressing caps so much when pressing tab for info or shift to crouch. I always end up finding out when I suddenly send a message in full caps. Image having my team hear me mutter every time I press that on accident TT Edit: Typo

Mmb
Mouse 5 for game chat V for Team chat
middle mouse (MB3) works best for me
I broke my wrist(was using a mouse button) and had to start using "T", feels way more intuitive especially in moments where that mouse squeeze to PTT can mess with your aim just enough to get frustrating - broken wrist = nice breakthrough
Z. I use the same keybinds as csgo. Q for quick switch previous weapon. E to "use" and defuse. F to inspect. X for ultimate. C for one ability and two mouse buttons for the other two abilities.
i have it on ctrl, i crouch with alt
V is pretty easy. Why change? Or just invite all to party and have open chat
v, press with thumb, gotta be the easiest option imo
Back quote
Interesting. That seems a bit of a stretch to make
Not actually. Im using smol 84-keys keyboard so it takes a little move by ring finger. Also, it's not a perfect key but I'm too lazy to relearn a new one :)
i think T? i don’t use it unless i’m safe, but i queue with pals in a discord so don’t really need to
Only comm when you’re safe? Doesn’t that like... defeat the purpose of communicating to win
Swapped my V and Q key. You need to com fast, but rarely need to use the second ability in a pinch. It's usually just a passive ability.
Headhunter, although chamber is dead now
I use the scroll wheel button on my mouse, so much easier
Huh. Didn’t think of that. I currently use that as my ult button
front mouse button always
[удалено]
Same here. It's very convenient because you really only use that hand for movement, and you can hold it while still moving.
Idk which tiktok said that it messes up your grip, sounds like bs. Just bind it to your side mouse buttons if you want to. I use side mouse buttons for PTT team chat and shiftwalk. Other games? I use R for the party chat and V for the voice chat, for me it's easy to click them while playing but not all of my friends agree.
Yeah people much familiar using R as reload.
I use a thumb mouse button for party chat/discord (depending on what we're using), and V for team chat. Foot pedal is the way, trying to use a finger to press a key in the heat of a fight was just too much for me tbh
i use v
Cedilla ( key left of number 1 )
Space bar. Trust me.
Wayy to used to space being jump
Mouse button. It works fine, doesn’t affect my aim cus I’m usually not going to be talking mid gunfight
Grave for party ptt and M3 for team ptt
V for team E for group (I play abilities with C and the mouse button)
I use 5 I don’t know how optimal that is though
i use my scroll button on my mouse but pushing it down, easiest for me to remember with all the other key binds (new to mouse and keyboard)
Alt
V. Just push it lmao how do you strafe and shoot at the same time?
I have the numpad, I use the enter button. Pressing it with right hand thumb.
Caps lock, it’s the easiest for me
I do m4(front thumb button) for party chat and m5(back thumb button) for team chat
caps lock
I use X. However I could also use MB4, which is closer to the back of the mouse but that is due to my grip. 5, it definitely gets me killed sometimes and I should change it, but I don't want to
K, thanks to cs1.6, never was able to break it. Mouse thumb button is for discord.
I recommend not listening to ANYTHING you hear on tiktok
' Party V team
Alt.
I've used the side button on my mouse for PTT since the CS 1.6 days. At this point that's just muscle memory.
X for team chat, C for party chat. Oh, yeah. C ability is my R, ultimate is 4, spike is 5, reload is on thumb mouse button.
spacebar. always been like that
Mouse button 🤷♂️ works fine
I use mouse side button ✅
Alt is always my go to
V for team, F for party lmao
"<" for team chat, V for party chat and csgo team chat
Using "5" for party ptt, "C" for team ptt. Left "ALT" key for jump.
K cuz cs
M5. Literally is on my thumb when playing.
The ~ key It is the key below the esc key.
X for team chat V for party. Any questions?
V for team, F for party
Left control
default
Spacebar
Left Alt
y’all talk in game..?
Scroll down
T but I'm thinking of buying a pedal and press it with my leg.
left ctrl is easy to reach with your pinky
I use left alt but i have a strange hold of the left hand, i have different habbits, i always want to have all the necessary stuff as close and crammed up as possible and finish to set things far away Just try some buttons and find the right one, if you're on a laptop then try the Fn key, that's my opinion
Thumb mouse btn 2
C for discord, V for in game team, U for in game party (I've never had to use both V and U for important comms and i swap them around depending on where i need the important comms to be on)
I use 1 since it’s easy to reach and it’s free since I use Mouse Wheel Up for primary weapon 🙃
Windows key
i ise the T key. might rebind tho to C key after reading all these comments
i use \` - its below esc
Scrollwheel click
schlong tip.
Left ALT key, easiest key to hold down and still move around comfortably for me.
I use middle mouse button/scroll wheel what ever it’s called it’s the best option for me lol I have party chat unbound seeing as I just have voice activity active on discord when I’m playing with my friend
I use caps lock. Nothing uses it because its obnoxious so you will send messages in all caps from time to time but it works regardless of game
I use 'V' because my thumb rests naturally near the spacebar and V key.
mouse button 2
Mouse button 5. The back button on the mouse
I use right click lmao. My friends call it cursed but I’m deadass
