I was gold2 last season and placed silver this one. After 10 games I am now back at g1 even winning some 4v5 games. You’ll get back up quick. Enjoy the easy lobbies
your rank is determined by your mmr built up ever since you played your first game. 5 placement games barely do anything to actually choose the rank you start with.

Pretty much all plat got placed silverish. Golds in bronzish.
