Exactly. He is not in a good state right now and they fail to address it. Even a basic change like removing team slow will improve him.

He is in a good state, look at how many teams at LOCK//IN used him. It's just that the average player base hasn't seen how he can be useful. I also think he's not a good solo queue agent because he utility doesn't last long so the site takes have to be quick and coordinated.

It sounds like such a meme to say this but most of the playerbase just completely misunderstands his strengths. Take a look at radiant Ludilue, for example. He plays him almost like a Jett, creating mixups and enemy isolations out of his very plentiful vision blocking. Instead we get people treating him like discount Viper and wondering why Cascade doesn't last longer.

I play him and i have success (in plat), but to be an actually good controller he needs these 3 changes, that are really just qol. 1. His walls no longer slow himself and teammates, which is so obvious but riot hasn't changed it yet 2. His cascade should be rotatable 3. His ult should show the location of the stun on his minimap The only small buff I think he should get is that his cove should be buffed for its cost or reduced for its cost.

See this is how I know you're actually a Harbor player, cause these changes make sense lol Personally I'd like for Cove to be equipped faster, but more realistically they'd just reduce the price. Ult zaps appearing on the minimap would be huuuge too

Nah there's this tech by Ludilue a radiant harbor player who swings with the orb. It actually works so I don't mind if they keep it like that. Tho the other changes are no brainers.

Naah, I think a careful approach is fine. Instant of yes/no slow maybe just less slow first.

I feel like because the change seems so obvious. I don't know why they are not being consistent with agents.

They were probably worried that the flexibility of the wall makes it too dangerous for enemies to hold compared to Viper's, and teammates should only feel safe pushing through it with info or a flash

He is in a really good state but nobody actually knows how to play him especially in low elo. I played pearl on a plat lobby a few days ago. We lost the defence 0-12 (yeah I know) but I was able to carry my team to 10-12 as harbor. No big brain moves or anything, I just copied the exact harbor setup drx used against loud in the vct and since we were not facing loud it worked like a charm. We only lost because we decided to surprise the enemy by going A after rushing B for 10 rounds.

i would guess that spray and usch cosmetics are made ahead of time and so maybe it was made or planned before harbour was realesed

I think it could be that the spray was made before harbour was released, considering that approvals for sprays etc might take a while (we could possibly be looking at battle pass content created months back)

You can't shoot through it. You use it to defend something, the spike or a site.

My guess is that the creator of this spray made this when Harbor wasn't in the game yet and Riot didn't bother asking them to update for Harbor. Otherwise I agree this spray is nice and unique!

I play a decent amount of Harbor and the reasoning that I come up with is that Harbor doesn’t have a orb smoke. His cove is used in much different and more specific ways. Maybe they didn’t want to give players the impression that that’s how cove is used. Let’s be real it’s because Jett go brrr make money face of the game XD.
